About: First things first- I’ve never been a cat owner. But due to moving a lot as a teenager, I’ve spent years in a household where my adult roommate had two cats (with very dichotomous personalities, at that). The boy was amiable, and eager for attention. The girl preferred to approach rather than be approached, and understandably feisty when someone didn’t know that. I loved those cats so much before I had to move again (about two years later), giving them food and water and cuddles alongside my mother and sister when our roommate went on longer trips. It was through living there that I especially learned to care for two pets that were of the same species, and yet so different in terms of how they received affection and respect. About: I've had dogs throughout my whole childhood, as well as a cat who I've had since I was 4 who is now 14! I take care of my family's pets when everyone else is out of town as well as try to walk my dogs 2-3 times a week I am currently not employed anywhere, but I am a college student at CSUSB who is on summer break. About: For most of my childhood, I never was allowed to have a pet, despite being so eager to have one. However, I did know many friends and families who had dogs and cats, whom I would visit frequently. I would help feed them, walk them, play with them, give them gentle petting when they were receptive, etc. As a teenager I moved around a lot with my single mother and my younger sister, so I got to live with a few different pet owners: One of my adult roommates had an old senior Shih Tzu. The sweet girl had poor vision and moved slowly, but I did my best to help my roommate and handled her dog with care everyday. Another woman I lived with had two cats; the male was affectionate and friendly, and the female was the feisty and shy one. I approached both very differently, aware of their boundaries, and formed a sweet bond with both :) Then my mother’s friend, who had a bunny! I learned a lot about how to give them healthy and fulfilling lives. Bunnies are very high maintenance, yet admittedly my favorite animal to care for. It’s why I actually ended up having a pet rabbit to spend every day with when I lived with my grandmother for years. I’m now living in a faraway town and unable to see my sweet bunny as often, but I’m most experienced in rabbit care and grooming!! All in all, I get along with most animals, and I find animals of all types just precious, even during the more lackluster aspects of having them. I understand each pet is their own individual with unique needs and I will always be attuned to that. I feed crows and pigeons (not around other animals though), I photograph insects and reptiles… yes, I just love animals and living creatures. I have plenty of money saved, but currently no income coming in because I don’t have a job. This is a way I am trying to make money to continue to save up for life expenses. As a result, I am literally free whenever, haha! I have no defined schedule whatsoever, but I do have routines and a list of hobbies I’d love to pursue in my journal. I get up early in the morning to walk around my neighborhood usually, and I do the same during sunset. The rest of the day depends; sometimes I read non-fiction, other times I head to Lake Evans, or see a live music performance at a cafè. I also dedicate some entire days to activism and fundraisers, so if I’m unavailable to care for a pet I will simply be upfront about that! I have a two story house, and it’s quite spacious! For rabbits or other animals that need an extra danger-proof house, the floors are almost completely free of things that pose any danger (such as sharp objects or accessible wires), and can be blocked off when there are visitors. The house has a mix of smooth wooden and carpeted flooring. I have three roommates, but only one is consistently staying in the house, and spends most time outside of the house. She has expressed permission to allow an animal every once in a while, she is trustworthy, and I would never leave an animal around any other human being unsupervised. The house also has a spacious backyard with high fencing and grass. The neighborhood itself is fantastic for dog walking! There’s a walkway with trees, flower bushes, small fields of grass, and it’s a hotspot for hummingbirds haha.

I do occasionally care for other pets, but I’m very mindful with my scheduling to make sure every animal gets the time, care, and routine they deserve. About: I've had dogs throughout my whole childhood, as well as a cat who I've had since I was 4 who is now 14! I take care of my family's pets when everyone else is out of town as well as try to walk my dogs 2-3 times a week I am currently not employed anywhere, but I am a college student at CSUSB who is on summer break. This gives me lots of room for scheduling and watching over your pets! I am planning on taking a summer class at RCC, but I know how to schedule around that once that happens At my house we have a great system which is our cat gets fed at 7am as well as our pig. And then at 7pm our two dogs, cat, and pig get fed at that time. Throughout the days I do not walk my dogs I'll play with them in the backyard, as well as try to keep my elderly cat company.

We have 2 separate yards, but one is reserved for my reactive dog to keep her and our other animals safe and happy. Our other 3 dogs are friendly but high energy. The only commitment I have is barn cleaning Monday-Wednesday for 3 hours each day. At my home, I have 2 separate yards and multiple kennels available if needed. My own dogs sleep and take breaks from the elements in their kennels, but are otherwise outside barking at squirrels! Depending on your dogs temperament and play style, they can either take turns with my dogs in one of the yards or rough house along with them. While my dogs are large, they have proven themselves to know their own strength. They played very well with a Chihuahua we were fostering for a few weeks.

Please bring crate(s)/carrier(s) if able to ! If you don’t have a crate/cat carrier please let me know so I can see if I have one that your pet will fit in. Crates/carriers are only used at night if needed (not potty trained). Or your pet is having some anxiety.

I work a part-time job but still home pretty much full time. I am mobile so I can take your dog pretty much anywhere you need me to take them; dog park, hiking, appointments, etc. If your dog is more active or likes adventures, I love to go hiking or exploring trails. Napping is my favorite pastime, so if your dog enjoys napping I specialize in cuddling or taking naps together. My house has a pool if your dog loves the water like I do, and I'd say I'm an amateur dog washer. I look forward to doing business with you & your pup! I’m currently a day at home mom looking to making pet care my full time job. I have daycare within my service area, so I can come to care for your pet at any time of the day! For house sitting services, I provide overnight care in your home and maintain your pet's normal routine. I may leave throughout the day for work, errands, family time, etc but I always ensure your pet receives the care, attention, potty breaks, meals, exercise, and all the snuggles they need. If your pet requires a more constant-care schedule, please discuss those needs before booking. I do not provide in home boarding at this time, but am trained in proper walking procedures to prevent harm to your dog or others.
