About: First things first- I’ve never been a cat owner. But due to moving a lot as a teenager, I’ve spent years in a household where my adult roommate had two cats (with very dichotomous personalities, at that). The boy was amiable, and eager for attention. The girl preferred to approach rather than be approached, and understandably feisty when someone didn’t know that. I loved those cats so much before I had to move again (about two years later), giving them food and water and cuddles alongside my mother and sister when our roommate went on longer trips. It was through living there that I especially learned to care for two pets that were of the same species, and yet so different in terms of how they received affection and respect. I also watch a lot of cat videos and have friends with cats, so I’m well versed in their body language and what it entails :) If you have any other questions, please ask them and I will be open and honest!

About: I do not have professional experience with pets but I have my own dog so I personally know the love and care that they need. I was in charge of training her and making sure she was potty trained as well as socialized I can work mostly any time from Monday -Thursday and during the day on Friday and Saturday ! I do have a job on the weekend but it is in the evening In my home I have a front and back yard with grass so the babies can run around as well there is a park a 3 minute drive away from the home to make sure they are able to play and run out their energy. Since I have my dog with me they would have a companion to be with. With my clients home I would make sure to run everything by them and their boundaries

About: I have been a life long dog lover. I grew up on a ranch with many animals which is where my love if animals started. I have always been the go-to person for friends and families who need help dog sitting while they are away. I have experience and background clearance through Riverside County Sheriffs Animal Services as a volunteer and dog foster. When your pet is in my care, they will be treated as my own with love and structure. I am a full time teleworker. I am home with my own dog daily. I am able to tend to the dog’s needs anytime and regularly take short lunch walks to manage energy. I have a fenced yard and multiple kennels in the home, if needed. About: For most of my childhood, I never was allowed to have a pet, despite being so eager to have one. However, I did know many friends and families who had dogs and cats, whom I would visit frequently. I would help feed them, walk them, play with them, give them gentle petting when they were receptive, etc. As a teenager I moved around a lot with my single mother and my younger sister, so I got to live with a few different pet owners: One of my adult roommates had an old senior Shih Tzu. The sweet girl had poor vision and moved slowly, but I did my best to help my roommate and handled her dog with care everyday. Another woman I lived with had two cats; the male was affectionate and friendly, and the female was the feisty and shy one. I approached both very differently, aware of their boundaries, and formed a sweet bond with both :) Then my mother’s friend, who had a bunny! I learned a lot about how to give them healthy and fulfilling lives. Bunnies are very high maintenance, yet admittedly my favorite animal to care for. It’s why I actually ended up having a pet rabbit to spend every day with when I lived with my grandmother for years. I’m now living in a faraway town and unable to see my sweet bunny as often, but I’m most experienced in rabbit care and grooming!! All in all, I get along with most animals, and I find animals of all types just precious, even during the more lackluster aspects of having them. I understand each pet is their own individual with unique needs and I will always be attuned to that. I feed crows and pigeons (not around other animals though), I photograph insects and reptiles… yes, I just love animals and living creatures. I have plenty of money saved, but currently no income coming in because I don’t have a job. This is a way I am trying to make money to continue to save up for life expenses. As a result, I am literally free whenever, haha! I have no defined schedule whatsoever, but I do have routines and a list of hobbies I’d love to pursue in my journal. I get up early in the morning to walk around my neighborhood usually, and I do the same during sunset. The rest of the day depends; sometimes I read non-fiction, other times I head to Lake Evans, or see a live music performance at a cafè. I also dedicate some entire days to activism and fundraisers, so if I’m unavailable to care for a pet I will simply be upfront about that! I have a two story house, and it’s quite spacious! For rabbits or other animals that need an extra danger-proof house, the floors are almost completely free of things that pose any danger (such as sharp objects or accessible wires), and can be blocked off when there are visitors. The house has a mix of smooth wooden and carpeted flooring. I have three roommates, but only one is consistently staying in the house, and spends most time outside of the house. She has expressed permission to allow an animal every once in a while, she is trustworthy, and I would never leave an animal around any other human being unsupervised. The house also has a spacious backyard with high fencing and grass. The neighborhood itself is fantastic for dog walking! There’s a walkway with trees, flower bushes, small fields of grass, and it’s a hotspot for hummingbirds haha.

I have a double-gated yard in my home with the whole house that is available to my dog to roam free. I have trained my dog to sleep in his own bed downstairs as it personally has been better for our dynamic and for him to get better rest but I love to snuggle with him and nap anywhere during the day.

I would help feed them, walk them, play with them, give them gentle petting when they were receptive, etc. As a teenager I moved around a lot with my single mother and my younger sister, so I got to live with a few different pet owners: One of my adult roommates had an old senior Shih Tzu. The sweet girl had poor vision and moved slowly, but I did my best to help my roommate and handled her dog with care everyday. Another woman I lived with had two cats; the male was affectionate and friendly, and the female was the feisty and shy one. I approached both very differently, aware of their boundaries, and formed a sweet bond with both :) Then my mother’s friend, who had a bunny! I learned a lot about how to give them healthy and fulfilling lives. Bunnies are very high maintenance, yet admittedly my favorite animal to care for. It’s why I actually ended up having a pet rabbit to spend every day with when I lived with my grandmother for years. I’m now living in a faraway town and unable to see my sweet bunny as often, but I’m most experienced in rabbit care and grooming!! All in all, I get along with most animals, and I find animals of all types just precious, even during the more lackluster aspects of having them. I understand each pet is their own individual with unique needs and I will always be attuned to that. I feed crows and pigeons (not around other animals though), I photograph insects and reptiles… yes, I just love animals and living creatures. I have plenty of money saved, but currently no income coming in because I don’t have a job. This is a way I am trying to make money to continue to save up for life expenses. As a result, I am literally free whenever, haha! I have no defined schedule whatsoever, but I do have routines and a list of hobbies I’d love to pursue in my journal. I get up early in the morning to walk around my neighborhood usually, and I do the same during sunset. The rest of the day depends; sometimes I read non-fiction, other times I head to Lake Evans, or see a live music performance at a cafè. I also dedicate some entire days to activism and fundraisers, so if I’m unavailable to care for a pet I will simply be upfront about that! I have a two story house, and it’s quite spacious! For rabbits or other animals that need an extra danger-proof house, the floors are almost completely free of things that pose any danger (such as sharp objects or accessible wires), and can be blocked off when there are visitors. The house has a mix of smooth wooden and carpeted flooring. I have three roommates, but only one is consistently staying in the house, and spends most time outside of the house. She has expressed permission to allow an animal every once in a while, she is trustworthy, and I would never leave an animal around any other human being unsupervised. The house also has a spacious backyard with high fencing and grass. The neighborhood itself is fantastic for dog walking! There’s a walkway with trees, flower bushes, small fields of grass, and it’s a hotspot for hummingbirds haha.

I'm a college student home for the summer and need an excuse to spend some time outside of the stacks and with something cuter than my term papers. I have a fenced in backyard that is moderately large and ready to run in, an air-conditioned house that we can sit and watch the news together (everyone likes an informed doggo), and I'm ready to let your dogs walk me (I could use the fresh air). I have cared for fluffy faces most of my life, and am an active volunteer with the Nevada Humane Society for those doggos without a good home.
