At my home, I have 2 separate yards and multiple kennels available if needed. My own dogs sleep and take breaks from the elements in their kennels, but are otherwise outside barking at squirrels! Depending on your dogs temperament and play style, they can either take turns with my dogs in one of the yards or rough house along with them. While my dogs are large, they have proven themselves to know their own strength. They played very well with a Chihuahua we were fostering for a few weeks.
