About: First things first- I’ve never been a cat owner. But due to moving a lot as a teenager, I’ve spent years in a household where my adult roommate had two cats (with very dichotomous personalities, at that). The boy was amiable, and eager for attention. The girl preferred to approach rather than be approached, and understandably feisty when someone didn’t know that. I loved those cats so much before I had to move again (about two years later), giving them food and water and cuddles alongside my mother and sister when our roommate went on longer trips. It was through living there that I especially learned to care for two pets that were of the same species, and yet so different in terms of how they received affection and respect. I also watch a lot of cat videos and have friends with cats, so I’m well versed in their body language and what it entails :) If you have any other questions, please ask them and I will be open and honest!

About: For most of my childhood, I never was allowed to have a pet, despite being so eager to have one. However, I did know many friends and families who had dogs and cats, whom I would visit frequently. I would help feed them, walk them, play with them, give them gentle petting when they were receptive, etc. As a teenager I moved around a lot with my single mother and my younger sister, so I got to live with a few different pet owners: One of my adult roommates had an old senior Shih Tzu. The sweet girl had poor vision and moved slowly, but I did my best to help my roommate and handled her dog with care everyday. Another woman I lived with had two cats; the male was affectionate and friendly, and the female was the feisty and shy one. I approached both very differently, aware of their boundaries, and formed a sweet bond with both :) Then my mother’s friend, who had a bunny! I learned a lot about how to give them healthy and fulfilling lives. Bunnies are very high maintenance, yet admittedly my favorite animal to care for. It’s why I actually ended up having a pet rabbit to spend every day with when I lived with my grandmother for years. I’m now living in a faraway town and unable to see my sweet bunny as often, but I’m most experienced in rabbit care and grooming!! All in all, I get along with most animals, and I find animals of all types just precious, even during the more lackluster aspects of having them. I understand each pet is their own individual with unique needs and I will always be attuned to that. I feed crows and pigeons (not around other animals though), I photograph insects and reptiles… yes, I just love animals and living creatures. I have plenty of money saved, but currently no income coming in because I don’t have a job. This is a way I am trying to make money to continue to save up for life expenses. As a result, I am literally free whenever, haha! I have no defined schedule whatsoever, but I do have routines and a list of hobbies I’d love to pursue in my journal. I get up early in the morning to walk around my neighborhood usually, and I do the same during sunset. The rest of the day depends; sometimes I read non-fiction, other times I head to Lake Evans, or see a live music performance at a cafè. I also dedicate some entire days to activism and fundraisers, so if I’m unavailable to care for a pet I will simply be upfront about that! I have a two story house, and it’s quite spacious! For rabbits or other animals that need an extra danger-proof house, the floors are almost completely free of things that pose any danger (such as sharp objects or accessible wires), and can be blocked off when there are visitors. The house has a mix of smooth wooden and carpeted flooring. I have three roommates, but only one is consistently staying in the house, and spends most time outside of the house. She has expressed permission to allow an animal every once in a while, she is trustworthy, and I would never leave an animal around any other human being unsupervised. The house also has a spacious backyard with high fencing and grass. The neighborhood itself is fantastic for dog walking! There’s a walkway with trees, flower bushes, small fields of grass, and it’s a hotspot for hummingbirds haha.

I am comfortable with all sizes of dogs and breeds. I care very deeply for animals and would love to help you ensure your dogs are getting the exercise and attention they need. I graduated college with a major in veterinary technology at TJC, and currently work as a veterinary technician. I do have a full time job at a veterinary clinic with my days and hours varying. Typically I work 5 days a week with a max of 8 hours a day. Due to this I am unable to be with your pet at all times but would love to spend my free time with them! I make sure to stay in close proximity to the animal and keep a close eye on them while playing with toys to prevent any injury. I am very knowledge on what kinds of things are toxic to both cats and dogs and am able to pick up on signs of possible varying illnesses.

About: I volunteered at my local humane society for 3 years and worked with various animals like dogs, cats, and rabbits. I've also had dogs, cats and rabbits growing up. I work a part-time job but still home pretty much full time. I am mobile so I can take your dog pretty much anywhere you need me to take them; dog park, hiking, appointments, etc. If your dog is more active or likes adventures, I love to go hiking or exploring trails. Napping is my favorite pastime, so if your dog enjoys napping I specialize in cuddling or taking naps together. My house has a pool if your dog loves the water like I do, and I'd say I'm an amateur dog washer. I look forward to doing business with you & your pup! I’m currently a day at home mom looking to making pet care my full time job. I have daycare within my service area, so I can come to care for your pet at any time of the day! For house sitting services, I provide overnight care in your home and maintain your pet's normal routine. I may leave throughout the day for work, errands, family time, etc but I always ensure your pet receives the care, attention, potty breaks, meals, exercise, and all the snuggles they need. If your pet requires a more constant-care schedule, please discuss those needs before booking. I do not provide in home boarding at this time, but am trained in proper walking procedures to prevent harm to your dog or others.
About: I love many animals, especially dogs. Growing up I raised many litters of puppies and have always been around dogs. A several years ago my senior dogs passed away. And it took until recently for me to get another dog. Since I’ve taken care of family dogs and realized that this is something I would really like to do with my spare time, and I’d appreciate it if you would let me watch your fur family member. While taking care of your dog I will treat them like them they were my own and make sure they are well-tended. I like to go on runs and hikes so if you have dogs that need that extra exercise I can provide all the exercise they need. Your buddy is my buddy. Although I work full time from home but my weekends tend to be very free, so I have spare time if you work weekends or get off of work late. About: I have cared for four of my family pets including a pup of my own for the past 7 years. I have helped train my family dogs and feel comfortable handling bigger breeds as my family has two big dogs (Labrador retriever + Old English Sheepdog). I understand that our pups are family and I will make sure to treat your pup as if it was my very own and follow any guidelines that you set. I’m currently working from home which allows me to create my own flexible schedule So that I am able to provide the best care for your pet! I have walked dogs that are 80+ lbs and feel very comfortable doing so. About: I adopted a 8 month maltipoo puppy in 2007 and she crossed the rainbow bridge. She and I were inseparable. We traveled to Europe 4 times! We read Lucy’s profile and were impressed not only with her background and love for all dogs, etc, but her commanding presence and fearlessness when we met her was really impressive since Scheiskopf was all over the map in a new place - no trepidation coming from her end!
