“tl;dr: if you have an anxious dog that is fearful of new people, trust Jamie to take care of your dog! We have a 10 month old puppy who is very anxious around new people and can growl. At the vet, he has gotten muzzled and needs to be sedated for regular visits. Elaine’s pet resort failed our dog within 1 hour of his meet and greet and we had to pick him up because he was “growling and aggressive.” We know that our dog is not aggressive and that he just needed someone who loves dogs and took the time to bond with him and wasn’t unnecessarily fearful of him. Jamie was that person! She is phenomenal! Our dog stayed with Jamie for 10 consecutive days with no problem! Jamie took photos during the entire stay and kept us informed. When his paws started bleeding, she even put little booties on his feet so that he could keep playing outside. Based on the photos she sent and how he acted upon pick-up, I know that our dog had a great time and truly ended up bonding and loving Jamie. Jamie really does have a gift with dogs! It was also great that she had lots of other dogs around for ours to play with and get his energy out. Thank you Jamie!”

About: I've grown up with cats, as of right now we have two, me being the primary caretaker. I often house sit for family and friends, one of which had me take care of four cats and four dogs. Communication was excellent from the start, and the detailed arrival instructions they sent before drop-off made finding their property easy. Their home sits on a beautiful piece of land with farm animals and plenty of space. The last part of the drive is a dirt road and a little bumpy, but completely manageable and worth it. Christy was friendly and welcoming when we arrived, and Cody seemed comfortable and well cared for. Pickup was smooth, and he was relaxed in their home with the other dogs and kittens. My jobs included feeding, walking, and playing with the dogs. About: I've always been around dogs ever since I was little. The past couple years, I have house/dog sat for one of my good friends parents. They have 2 larger dogs and 2 smaller dogs, also a kitty! I enjoy being around animals and keeping them company while their parents are away. I am a busy college student who is currently going to school for sonography. I am only wishing to provide care for weekends only right now, as that's what fits into my schedule. I can accommodate to caring for your babies however they are used to being cared for, whether they like sleeping with you in bed or need to be crated during the evening hours, I'm here to make them feel comfortable in whatever way that looks like.
About: Currently not boarding or hosting day care. I live in a house with 2 acres of fenced in backyard. Have two cats and one 6 month old puppy. Large dogs will have ample space to run around. Will provide plenty of photos and keep in constant contact so you can rest assured your babies are being loved and cared for. I do have an XL crate and dog bed for those interested. Ideally, I ask you bring a familiar blanket or toy to help soothe the pets. Pet care is my main focus when they’re scheduled with me. My entire day is set to ensure I’m available for walks, potty breaks and playtime. I have 2 acres of grassy backyard that is fenced in. Perfect for big dogs to roam in. If you have high energy this is a good way to tire them out.
