I found Sara and saw the number of repeat clients and the way she wrote about her self and her services in the blurb on rover and was sold. We were still a little nervous, as our puppy is very much a puppy, and does not realize that she is nearly 70 pounds! Keeping her down when she’s overly excited is a feat, and she has knocked me off my literal feet multiple time. She is a lot to handle at the best of times, but Sarah assured us it would be no problem. When we arrived, we ran about eight minutes late, and she was so kind and patient with us, despite us bringing a doggy diaper bag that probably could’ve lasted our pup two weeks ? any nerves we had or apprehension quickly dissolved upon meeting her. She sent pictures of Klara having a great time, and the next day when we picked her up, she didn’t want to leave! I would, and have, referred her to everyone I know with a dog. We will definitely be using her services again, Klara misses her already!”

“We have only had Mollie since last December. She is a rescue and a sweet girl. We had the opportunity to go on a trip with friends. I wasn't sure how she would do with new folks since we had not had her with other dogs or people. Our get acquainted visit was the best experience for both of us. She was glad to see me when I picked her up, which was great! She had a good time playing with other dogs and running and smelling around their fenced property. A lake and waterfall and lots of good smells made Mollie a very happy girl. She is nine and her vision and hearing are not great but she loves to smell. Thank you to Linda and her husband! “We usually board our dogs at a kennel, but our current dog has kennel stress and that was not an option for us this time. A friend suggested the Rover app to find somebody who would watch our dog in their home. This led us to Sara. We can not say enough good things about Sara. She was awesome to work with, very personable, and always responded to our texts in a timely fashion. But more importantly, our dog loved it at her home. She sent us daily videos and photos of our dog playing and having fun with the other dogs being boarded. It was very reassuring to get these daily photos and know our dog was well cared for and enjoying herself. Sara has a large fenced area for the dogs to run in, but she also welcomes them into her home and on her furniture (sign of a true dog lover!). Sara was also very accommodating when our dog needed a special diet for a few days. This was such a positive experience all around. We will never take our dog to a kennel again. About: Served as a volunteer and foster parent for many rescued animals in Bali during the pandemic. My experience with animals is vast. Ive grown up with many different kinds of pets. Cats. Dogs. Birds. Reptiles. Rodents. Chickens. ducks. Donkeys. Horses. Pigs. Goats. You name it. I love all animals. I was raised in the foothills in the redwood forest. I’m a very down to earth and healthy lifestyle human who just loves fur babies of all types. I’m attentive and loving and playful with animals. I really need it as much as they do. I work early in the mornings off around 9am and then have most of the day to myself. It’s nice to have an excuse to take a dog on a walk or to lounge around with some kitty cuddles. Having animals in my home makes it feel more like a home. In my own home I will be in close proximity at all times and I will be home the entire time so I can sense when potty breaks or walks are needed. I really enjoy taking walks myself so it’s a perfect fit to have dogs over. Cats are similar with the exception of walks unless you want to leash train them or already have. I love to keep an eye on them so they don’t hurt themselves and I give lots of play time.

“We came into town from the Bay Area and wanted to do some whitewater rafting that wouldn’t allow dogs. Sara was kind of enough to watch our 12 pound shih tzu. Sara asked for his vaccinations records to make sure no dog would get sick, which was very reassuring to us. We felt very comfortable leaving him there and believe he had a lot of fun at her place playing with the other dogs. Sara checked in multiple times with updates and pictures and was very accommodating when we asked to pick him up an hour later than originally discussed. Her house is on a large property that's fully enclosed and in a beautiful gated community in the hills. Whether you have a big dog that loves to run around and interact with other friendly animals or a small dog that prefers to spend time inside close to people, Michelle's house is an awesome place for pets! My dog has major separation anxiety, but instead of stressing out like he normally does when he knows I'm leaving him, Oakley immediately settled in and started exploring the property with one of her dogs right after we got there! I could tell from Michelle's updates and photos that Oakley was really enjoying his time there and felt comfortable he would be well taken care of if he needed to stay even longer in the future. The location of her house turned out to be really convenient and close to where I was going, but even if I'm further away the next time I'm in town and need a sitter, I know that Michelle will be our first choice for sure!”
About: I have loved animals my whole life and have had many pets; dogs, cats, horses, birds, rabbits, sheep and more. I thoroughly enjoy being with animals, loving and caring for them. Some of my first jobs were at animal clinics, where I learned a lot about caring for animals. I was in FFA as a youth, where I raised and showed sheep, and where I also learned a lot. About: I have been a full-time puppy whelper for the past 8 years and come highly recommended with lots of references. I welcome all different breeds. I am always home. While I do have to pick up and drop off my children for their various sports and activities, it’s just a five minute drive away.I am always available. Plus, I’m attending school online from the comfort of my home. I live on 1 1/2 acres with a mini horse, two small goats that like to visit the neighbors and two potbelly pigs. Additionally I have two older French bulldogs who are house trained and very friendly, as well as two cane corsos who get along well with all animals including pony,goats, and pigs- they’re all pals! All of my animals are well-behaved , and I’ve often been told I should’ve been a vet or a dog trainer because of my love for animals. I have two separate backyards-one for the smaller dogs and one for the bigger ones. However I’m accustomed to rotating them due to my experience as a whelper. I know how to manage introducing new dogs and keeping them separate if needed.My dogs have access to indoors and outdoors, and they sleep in the house at night. I’ve set up set up my garage to be cozy and welcoming for dogs to stay in at night.

About: I have always had dogs/animals. We have 5 dogs of our own. We also foster with a local rescue. We specialize in the squish face breeds. We completely understand climate control. We love to exercise outside and go out often to romp. I am currently working remote part of the time (office days are Tues/Thurs). We typically always have someone home and the dogs are likely never alone for more than a 2-3 hour period. Our dogs are very friendly and love to play! We do not have a fenced yard, so our preference would be dogs that are not a flight risk! We can use a flexi leash for potty breaks but that would limit outside play for our guests. We live on 2.5 acres with a lot of grass to romp and play. Our dogs do not go outside unless supervised.
About: As a cattle dog owner, I'd like to think I have a special set of skills for crazy babies. I have always had rescues and fosters in my home. I have been fortunate to work with foster pets from the Caribbean and Mexico as well, each of these often came with health issues. I have experience with pregnant dogs and cats as well! If you are interested in having your pet stay over, know I have a very friendly dog. She has both experienced having guests and foster pets in the house as well. Tolerant and obedient. I have multiple rooms and baby gates for separation and quiet time. In general, I am a very active and outdoorsy person! So i am happy to take the pets out to the trails or the lake! I live on 10 quiet acres with a fenced yard. There is ample space to play outside or be kept safe and warm inside. I work from home 90% of the days so I can provide full time oversight and care. I also work a job where I can take the dogs with me if you approve! I am fortunate to work from home. I have the ability to provide care all day and night for your pet! I walk each morning and evening and have the option to take your pet out for a walk or a play on the property in both fenced and unfenced areas. I have an older dog who is very arthritic so I am used to caring for the elderly animals as well. Pets in my home have their own room if needed. I have plenty of space for crates. I have a large gated deck and live on 10 acres on a quiet road. My own pets walk daily with me along my road which works well for easy elder dog walks as it is shady even in the summer. It also can provide great training ground as there is little traffic. For the high energy babies, we can play fetch or take to the trails nearby. I have always had rescue pitties so I am comfortable with big cuddly babies. I adopted a cattle dog pup who had clinical anxiety which has taught me how to care for highly intelligent, high energy dogs as well. Treats, love, and confidence makes for a happy dog!

As with any new pet parent, we were a bit nervous about leaving him, but Amanda is doing an amazing job caring for him and very reassuring to us. I have delt with dogs of every age from my grandparents older German Shepard of 14 years old to my dog Mr. Buddy as a young 12 week old pup. I can assure that I will adhere to any safety practices that you want for your fur baby. I also have my 4 year old Aussie, Mr. Buddy, that does great with other dogs and socializing them. I've seen him help mentally troubled dogs many times. Off course I will not bring him if the client doesn't want him there. But once again I care assure that any dog will be safe under my care.

I am usually free on weekends. I do not take spontaneous trips. All my trips are planned in advance so I can work things around it. I will follow the rules of your house when I am there. “We usually board our dogs at a kennel, but our current dog has kennel stress and that was not an option for us this time. A friend suggested the Rover app to find somebody who would watch our dog in their home. This led us to Sara. We can not say enough good things about Sara. She was awesome to work with, very personable, and always responded to our texts in a timely fashion. But more importantly, our dog loved it at her home. She sent us daily videos and photos of our dog playing and having fun with the other dogs being boarded. It was very reassuring to get these daily photos and know our dog was well cared for and enjoying herself. Sara has a large fenced area for the dogs to run in, but she also welcomes them into her home and on her furniture (sign of a true dog lover!). Sara was also very accommodating when our dog needed a special diet for a few days. This was such a positive experience all around. We will never take our dog to a kennel again.
