About: I’ve taken care of dogs and owned my own for over 30 years. I’ve house trained my own dogs from puppy stage to senior age. I currently own a Siberian Husky and care for two additional huskies. I enjoy brushing, playing and bathing them. I’m retired and pretty much available all week, unless I leave to visit family. My schedule is very flexible although I do have a feeding routine for my own dog (am and pm). I have a decent size yard that is fenced. I have a 4 year old Siberian Husky who is very friendly and loves to play. I do crate dogs if they get out of hand and need timeouts. I allow dogs inside and outside. About: I’ve grown up with many cats and different types of dog's. I had a dog that was 19 years old and have been self training my current dog since I got him. Im currently a student at Chico State so I have plenty of time after classes and school. I have plenty of time to walk and play with your pets after 2pm on most weekdays. I make sure there’s no way to escape or places that can hurt your pet if it gets in those places. I would make sure to be attentive and make sure I know what they’re up to.

“Shanna is great. She has been patient and collaborative in planning for my Roxie's care. We had a meet and greet, then a short daycare stay, then a full day of daycare. She is well versed in dog behavior. My dog, coincidentally a "pitbull type" is often categorized and judged as "vicious or aggressive" even before people meet her. I've had dog sitters on Rover decline to provide services simply because of her breed or her appearance. Shanna understands that Roxie is a dog: a dog with her own level of prey drive (so Roxie is not allowed in her daughter's room cause of the hamster she has); a dog with some anxiety who barked at her husband when he came into the house. They didn't freak out. Shanna understood Roxie's behavior and worked through it, allowing Roxie to get to know her husband, settle and move on. I truly appreciate her family's openness and acceptance. We have two more full days of daycare booked and if all continues well, we will book boarding services. Roxie is people and dog friendly, but the discrimination we have experienced on Rover, leads me to take things in a new daycare/boarding situation slowly. Shanna has been very reassuring and understanding. throughout the process. I HIGHLY recommend her.”
About: I have always had a dog but I can only attest to caring for those I’ve raised. I’ve raised two labs and a huskie pittie. I currently have a young 1 year old male lab who loves a great play session with another doggy friend. I’ve often dog cat overnight and it gives my pets great socialization opportunities. I currently work full time from home from 8am to 5pm. My dog is routinely walked 1 hours a day with several enticing activities through out my work day. On the weekend I like to take him to the park and hiking if there is no playdate scheduled. I have a fenced yard and the most social dog to keep them company. Plenty of toys and treats. I have two different sized crates and fenced areas to give my cats space when new dogs are visiting.

About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life. I mostly grew up around German Shepards and miniature Dobermans. I have two dogs of my own named Milo and Bear. I volunteer time at a local animal shelter to walk and play with the dogs there that need it. I have an open routine at the moment, so I am able to accomodate your schedule. My pets are used to walking at odd hours in the summer, so I'm sure they won't mind 😁 This should be pretty straightforward, as I'm offering walking and home visits. I will not board dogs, as my other pups don't like the intrusion.

About: As someone who has owned pets, I have years of experience in caring for both cats, dogs, lizards, and bunnies! When I could not locate a proper groomer for my shihtzu, I learned how cut my dog’s hair and clip his nails. About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. I provide comforting classical music as well as calming pheromones in the sleeping spaces to make their stay as stress-free as possible. I have a fenced yard and never leave dogs together unsupervised. I do not provide an environment suitable for animals with a history of dog aggression. My childhood dog was one of my best friends. We would play together for hours and I was responsible to feed, bathe, and clean up after him. He loved belly rubs and going with us on family walks. When the neighbor's dogs broke through the fence and attacked him, I was the one who flushed and cleaned his wounds, changed his bandages, and nursed him back to health after he came home from the vet. He became diabetic when he grew old and I gave him his insulin shots. I also had an outdoor cat, and pet sat for a neighbor who had an iguana, fish, water turtles, and cockatiels. As an adult, I adopted a pit-mix rescue and we enjoyed obedience training, going to the dog park, car rides for a pup cup, going for walks, and playing tug-of-war. Last year, he was diagnosed with an oral tumor and he needed lots of extra care during his last months. He needed medication 3 times a day, a specialized diet when it became difficult for him to eat kibble, and eventually hand-feeding for him to be able to eat at all. He passed away 14 years old. I wouldn't trade one minute. I'm currently working part-time in the morning and would love to spend my afternoons with animals. If you need someone to care for your pet mid-day, we're the perfect match. I provide care where your pet feels safest - in their own home environment. Please leave me detailed instructions so I know where to find their food and food bowl, leash, toys, medications, etc. If you have spacial boundaries for your pet such as not being allowed on the couch or bed, in specific rooms, or if they are outside-dog only, etc., please let me know so I can respect and enforce those boundaries.

About: I have experience and patience to deal with dogs. My house is well maintenance and have a big yard for dogs to run around and play I have the time to do it. They just need to let me know with time what days and times will they drop off and pick up I keep them in a save enviroment. Feed them as told by per owner. Will have them in good care. About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life. I mostly grew up around German Shepards and miniature Dobermans. I have two dogs of my own named Milo and Bear.
