“I felt good knowing that my dog was safe and being cared for and loved while at Nancy and Don's. He came home happy and healthy and Nancy and Don seemed to really enjoy his company too, which feels even better.”

“Thank you so much, Jean, for coming to our rescue during a last-minute emergency, and caring for our two very spoiled pups for three days in a row! Our dogs are not used to being away from us, but Jean is such a natural that they settled in right away. The photos she sent throughout the day showed their quick comfort and the sweetest moments of them cuddling with Jean and her husband, as well as gradually bonding with her own friendly dogs. On the third day, when an unexpected situation kept us out much later than planned, Jean was incredibly flexible and understanding, making the whole experience completely stress-free for us. She truly went above and beyond, and we honestly feel like she saved us. We’ve found our go-to sitter. No need to look anywhere else.”

“Bear is always excited to go to his “best friend Flynns’s” house! Aimee and her family always take excellent care of him, and send pictures to keep me updated on him. Thank you for being such wonderful caretakers or my dog!”

“We cannot recommend Jared highly enough. From our very first interaction, his attention to detail and professionalism set him apart. He took the time to ask thoughtful, specific questions about our dog’s routines, preferences, quirks, and health history—everything from feeding schedules and portion sizes to behavioral cues and comfort habits. It was clear he wasn’t just “watching a dog”; they were committed to understanding and caring for our dog. Communication was exceptional throughout. We received consistent updates—photos, positive words about our dog’s behavior and how much he enjoyed watching our dog. Every message reassured us that our dog was not only safe, but genuinely happy and engaged. His knowledge of dog care was evident in both small and significant ways. He demonstrated confidence in handling, situational awareness on walks, and an understanding of canine behavior that gave us complete peace of mind. He was proactive rather than reactive, anticipating needs before they became issues. Our dog can be particular, yet he adapted seamlessly and respected established routines while building trust. What truly stood out was his authenticity. There was nothing transactional about his care—it was thoughtful, warm, and sincere. You can tell when someone genuinely loves animals, and that sincerity showed in every interaction. If you are looking for someone who blends professionalism, knowledge, attentiveness, and heartfelt care, his is extraordinary. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found him and highly recommend Jared to anyone looking for an outstanding pet sitter.”

“Absolutely incredible, even by high Rover standards. I would give 10 stars if I could. Unlike many other providers, Natalie will give your pooch individual care and attention - and you don’t have to worry about illnesses because there aren’t other dogs present. A+”

“We used Isaiah for our first trip away from our puppy, and he was great! He sent updates with pictures and videos throughout the stay. Definitely recommending to others and will use again.”

About: I have had a dog since I was born. I started caring for my dog by the age of five. Then, I did overnights with a diabetic dog, with whom I had to administer medicine. Now, I have two dogs of my own who are very special. I currently work from home, so pet care fits in seamlessly with my routine. I also have a fenced-in yard, so potty breaks can be taken frequently. I am very attentive with care for pets in my home, and I’m my clients home. I always ensure there is fresh food and water. I make sure they have toys or chew toys to keep them occupied. I am always available to take time to play, and go on potty breaks.
“Danielle took wonderful care of Bella while my family was away on vacation. A shy, timid dog, it was the first time in Bella's life that she had ever been away from the whole family. Danielle sent regular, daily updates with pictures and an honest commentary of how Bella was doing each day. Day by day, I saw Bella come out of her shell and act more like herself. I would absolutely trust Danielle with dog sitting Bella again. Thank you so much!”

“Teagan (and her family) were incredible hosts for my Puggle. I was a little nervous of how it would all go since my pup can be pretty anxious around new people. But she seemed to immediately warm up and feel comfortable. I loved that Teagan sent me photos and updates every day that I was gone. I completely trust her and would book again in a heartbeat! Thank you for taking such good care of my baby!”

“Teagan was great! She was able to pick my baby up (since I work so early) making is easier on me and Yecca. She kept me informed. Yecca had plenty of attention and was able to roam outside. I felt completely comfortable leaving her with Teagan for the day and plan to use her many more times. You can tell she is a genuine person and caring which is the main thing I look for.”

About: Loving pets and caring for them since childhood fosters a profound sense of responsibility and empathy in individuals. The nurturing relationships formed with animals contribute to emotional development, teaching valuable life skills such as compassion, patience, and commitment. These early experiences often shape one's perspective on human-animal interactions throughout adulthood. Relocating to a new town presents unique challenges, particularly for individuals who work from home. The absence of familiar social networks can lead to feelings of isolation. However, pet ownership can serve as a significant source of companionship, enhancing emotional well-being and providing opportunities for social interaction within the community. Moreover, the presence of pets in a home office environment can increase productivity and reduce stress levels. Engaging with animals during work breaks fosters mental clarity and rejuvenation. Thus, embracing both remote work and pet companionship can facilitate a smoother transition into a new locale while promoting overall life satisfaction. The ownership of a large land area provides ample space for personal activities and the well-being of pets. Specifically, two dogs can either share a sleeping arrangement with their owner or utilize a crate for rest. This flexibility enhances both companionship and security in the human-animal relationship. Sleeping alongside dogs emotional bonds and can contribute to reduced anxiety levels for both parties. Conversely, using a crate offers dogs a designated safe space, promoting independence and comfort when needed. Thus, the choice between these arrangements reflects individual preferences while ensuring the welfare of the animals involved.

About: My family has always been passionate about giving animals, the best possible life and experience that we possibly could. I have owned multiple dogs of different sizes and cared for multiple kinds of reptiles. I have experience carrying for special needs dogs as two of our dogs needed extensive medical care and medication administered multiple times of day as they near the end of their lives. I consider myself to be very calm and respectful of people’s fur babies and home. I’m currently working part time, just 10 hours a week and I spend most of my time when I’m not working doing schoolwork. I’m a local college student and avid pet lover, so should you choose to have me in your house? I’ll spend most of my time caring for your pets and reading my textbooks. I’m a quick learner and can follow any instructions you set for me. I have experience administering medications to dogs as my previous dog required multiple bouts of different medication throughout the day during the end of her life. I also have experience with reptiles and heating requirements and general feeding schedules.

About: Been raised around cats, dogs, and farm atmosphere my whole life, raised my first dog at 8 years old. Have been watching pets for friends, family, and acquaintances for almost a decade. I can watch any day of the week, Monday - Friday I can’t stay all day. I have no problem with being at the house for majority of the day. I live on a 5 acre land with plenty of space for pets to roam. There is also BLM land right behind the house with a trail by the creek to walk. Along with a spacious home. When house sitting I stay with the pets according to rules and instructions set by the owner.
“Michael kept our dog safe and well cared for while we were on vacation in Shasta. Our dog got plenty of love, attention and exercise. He was great communicating how the dog was doing. Would definitely use his services again”

About: Hi! My name is Carissa and I’m currently a college student attending Santiago Canyon College. I’ve always had a huge love for animals and currently have three Chihuahua terriers of my own! I have around 7 years of experience caring for dogs, including dog walking, pet sitting, overnight stays, feeding, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I also previously helped run my family’s dog care business, which gave me hands-on experience working with dogs of different breeds, personalities, and needs. Now, I’m excited to start building my own pet care business independently and provide loving, reliable care for your pets just like they’re my own. I understand how important trust is when leaving your animals with someone, and I always strive to make both pets and owners feel comfortable and at ease. I’m dependable, patient, attentive, and truly enjoy spending time with animals. I look forward to meeting you and your dogs. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine! I currently take college classes online, which gives me a very flexible schedule throughout the day. I also work part-time as a nanny in the evenings for a few hours, but outside of that I have open availability for walks, drop-ins, daycare, and overnight stays. Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life, so I genuinely enjoy making time for it in my schedule. I’m very reliable, responsive, and flexible, and I always make sure pets receive the attention, care, and consistency they need. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, whether in my home or a client’s home. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions. I also provide lots of attention, supervision, and updates with photos/messages so owners feel reassured while they’re away.
About: I’ve always been around animals ever since I was little- horses, goats, chickens, cats, dogs- you name it! I love animals and taking care of them. The company of a set of paws is one of the most comforting and rewarding things. I know how much a bond between a pet parent and pet means, and will go above and beyond to make sure an owner is content when away from their fluffy family member. I promise to ensure peace of mind that they are cared for and happy, whether it’s a wagging tail or a purring tummy. I’ve been pet-sitting and walking for my neighbors since I was young, and care for each pet as if it were my very own. I’m currently almost entirely available! Any walks or home check in times needed, I can do them! I’m happy to go for morning and evening strolls with a pup, or check in on a kitty a time a day or more to make sure your fur baby is happy and healthy. I care for clients’ pets by walking their dogs, feeding pets, administering medication such as flea medication, cleaning litter boxes and lawns, and more as required.
