“Melissa and her family and pets were wonderful and took excellent care of my dog when I had to go out of town. She is easy to communicate with and sends regular updates which is appreciated. I can highly recommend her.”

“My dog stayed with Shannon for a week, and I couldn't have been happier with the experience. Shannon was friendly, responsive, and provided daily photo and video updates, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. Shannon was also very accommodating with the pick-up time which I really appreciated. I think my dog enjoyed his little own "vacation" too!”

“Amy & Justin gave our German Shepard an incredible experience. He was well taken care of, loved, and enjoyed his time with them and their dog River. Would book again in a heartbeat!”

“Emmett had a lovely day with Michelle - lots of playing outside and resting inside when it got too hot outside. Michelle was fantastic, will contact her for dog sitting again.”

“Alexa bonded instantly with our pup and was committed to providing him with the best home away from home possible! She sent loads of pictures and checked in regularly, and it was clear from the photos that he could not have been happier! Thankful to have found such a happy place for Brady to land - he is looking forward to future stays with Alexa!”

“This is my second time using Rover and I couldn't be happier! I'm pretty sure Tucker didn't even want to come home after his stay at Walee's. He had an absolute blast running around her huge yard with her dog Ike. As I type this, Tucker is still sleeping on the couch after a solid 3 hour nap. I would absolutely recommend Walee to anyone looking for someone to watch their dog!”

“This is the first time we left our dog Ginger in the care of Ruchi and her family, and we are happy that we did. At the Meet & Greet, we were impressed with how clean their home was and how orderly they attended to their dog guests and their own dogs. When we dropped off Ginger to stay, she immediately made herself at home. Ruchi gave us updates and sent photos and videos several times a day for the entire stay. We appreciated this as it gave us peace of mind that Ginger was in good hands. We look forward to bringing Ginger back to Ruchi's home the next time we need a sitter.”

“We left our puppy Simba with Daniel for 3 nights. We were very nervous at first because it was our first time using the Rover app & leaving our pet with somebody other than family. Daniel was very responsive since the beginning when I reached out to him. Daniel sent us numerous pictures & videos of Simba which made us & our kids a lot more comfortable. We will be using Daniel again in the future for sure.”

“Sabrina did a great job caring for our two dogs! She was communicative, paid attention to all the little details with caring for them and sent several photos and videos throughout the stay which put our minds at ease. Her little pack of dogs also made friends with ours and made them feel comfortable as well. Would definitely board them again at her home.”

“My doggos were taken such great care of during their stay! Highly recommended and will absolutely ask Patti and her husband to take care of my dogs again in the future.”

“Irina and her family were great! Marcel has a separation anxiety but for the first time he left me without any drama! She updated me often and sent pictures! I could see the love and care they gave to Marcel in every single picture. She responded all of my concerns in detail and with compassion. And I could see that Marcel had a wonderful time with them. She is now our go-to sitter and if you are looking for someone for your furry baby, you can definitely trust her. Highly recommend!!”

“Sara was amazing with Max. She walked him, let him play all over big yards. I can tell Max had a fabulous time. The most important thing I value about Sara is that she was so accommodating. My flight was delayed due to an emergency landing, but she still did not charge me extra and had Max and his stuff ready for pick up at pretty late.”

About: I grew up with dogs and had my own in early adulthood, but circumstances have been such that I can't have one of my own right now. That doesn't stop me from loving on dogs! I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including those with special diets. I have a lot of flexibility at the moment and can be sure your dog gets walked early in the morning or in the evening to avoid the heat. I love to walk and will be happy to ensure your dog gets plenty of exercise. I have a fenced yard and no pets of my own. I have a doggy doorbell at the back door that many dogs learn to use when they want to go in or out.
“Sixuan was incredibly attentive, following all of my feeding instructions to the letter, taking Andi on regular walks, and ensuring she had her potty breaks every three hours or so. Coming home to find Andi looking so happy relaxed and healthy gave me total peace of mind. She sent regular pictures with updates about her welfare . I gladly give Sixuan 5 stars for her excellent service and cannot recommend Sixuan highly enough! She did an absolutely wonderful job looking after my fur-baby!”

“The best review is the way my little guy went running to Michelle with his tail wagging when I dropped him off. He obviously enjoyed his stay with his doggie friends everything to explore in the big back yard.”
“Amber watched my dog Squid for two nights. Squid has bad separation anxiety and struggles being away from home. Amber was fantastic and our dog seemed to love staying at her place. We’ll definitely be booking again.”

“We are so elated that we found Carrie on Rover. She along with her family are sincerely wonderful kindhearted people. We love all the photos and updates. Our dogs are in the best care possible and are treated as if one of their own. Navarrete Family”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs & cats my entire life and there is no job I would rather do than hangout with them all day. I pride myself on being attentive to the pets I watch as well as being communicative with the owners. I am currently home from college for the summer so I have nothing but free time. Feel free to turn to me for last minute bookings due to my wide open schedule. I love going on walks as a way to get both your pet’s exercise as well as mine. About: Owner Away? I’ll Sit and Stay. I am willing to take care of your dog at my house or yours and have been an avid lover of our furry friends for as long as I can remember. Besides caring for dogs, cats, birds, fish and gerbils of my own in the past, I have been declared the animal whisperer in my family. I am currently a third-year student studying to create prosthetics for animals at Cal Poly University and volunteer with Guide Dogs for the Blind as well as two other organizations that foster and rehouse animals to their furrrever homes. I would love nothing more than the opportunity to meet with you and your pet to give them the best level of care while you're away and to help you feel confident in trusting to leave your fur baby with me. I am currently taking this quarter off of school to focus on work and so I have quite a bit of free time as my job only requires that I work from home. That being said, whatever availability is required to fit your needs, that is a department I am more than flexible to appease. Ideally, I would like to offer care in the client's home, whether that be pet/house sitting or just walking the dog. In that situation, I would be more than happy to take care of upkeeping the household if need be (i.e. water plants, take out the trash, pick up the mail, etc.) I live in an apartment complex where smaller animals are allowed so depending on the client's case, I can try to accommodate housing arrangements in my home instead.

I understand that cats need patience, a calm environment, and consistent care to feel safe and comfortable. I provide a peaceful, low-stress setting where your cat can relax and feel at home. I’m attentive to feeding routines, litter box cleanliness, and behavior changes, and I take the time to build trust with each cat at their own pace. Whether your cat is playful, shy, or independent, I adjust my care to fit their needs. My goal is to make sure your cat feels secure, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away so you don’t have to worry.
“Ruth took excellent care of our 3 kitties! I love that she was very thorough and took the time to let us know in detail everything she did with each visit. Although our kitties are very shy and hid under the bed when she came over, she still made sure to check on them and snap a pic so we could see their glowing eyes under the bed. ? We would definitely recommend Ruth and will be happy to have her care for our kitties again. ?”

“Shileen is excellent. It was quite obvious that our German Shepherd got attached to her quickly. Since she has two dogs of her own, she related to Gabby in no time at all. She played catch with her, walked around the properly with her, and updated us with photos daily. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog under her care. I will be requesting her dog sitting services again.”

Prices are estimates per day for 1 dog. Pricing may vary based on your search and includes a booking fee of 11%.
About: Hi, I grew up around several different animals of all sizes from rodents/reptiles to livestock/dogs. I have always had at least one dog in my life at all times. The more the merrier. I love all animals big and small. I worked at a kennel where I learned about boarding and training dogs for about a year and I have pet sat for about 15 years in grand total. I currently work at a pet store in Sutter Creek. I love being around dogs and training or even just hanging out and playing. I am a outdoorsy person. I have experience with livestock animals also. Horses, cattle, chickens, Lhamas, mini animals, donkeys. I have references also if you would like them. Our home is completely fenced and sits on 3 acres. We have two friendly german shepherds. I work part time so some days I am gone at work. But our 17 year old daughter is always home. We also go to church Sunday morning so we would be gone for a couple hours but otherwise we are always home. I care for pets in my home as I would my own. I have 3 German Shepherds. 10 months to 7 years old. As for in home pet sitting I would follow whatever routine you have set for your fur babies already so it would be easier on them.
“My high-energy large Lab and Golden Retriever puppy had an amazing day with Michelle and her family on their farm, and came home tired and well-cared for ❤️. Hope they will be able to visit again soon! Thank you again!”

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember. My very first pet was my childhood cat, who I got when I was 2 years old and who lived with me for 17 wonderful years before crossing the rainbow bridge. I’ve always had a special connection with animals and a passion for caring for them. Over the years, I’ve gained experience caring for many different types of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, and more. I currently have two Dobermans and a kitty of my own. I recently moved to a 2 acre property, which has been amazing for training and working with my dogs, they’re truly thriving with the space and lifestyle they deserve. To me, pets are family, and I always strive to give them the best care, attention, and love possible. I’ve also rescued and fostered kittens in need, helping them find safe and loving forever homes. Caring for animals genuinely brings me happiness, and having them in my life has always been incredibly fulfilling. I currently work part time and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time, attention, and care to your pets. Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine since I already care for my own animals every day. At my home, pets have access to a large, secure fenced yard for safe outdoor time and exercise. I also have spacious fenced in kennels available if needed for safety, rest time, or individual comfort. Pets are always supervised, given plenty of attention, and cared for in a clean, calm environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always respect their routines, instructions, and house rules to help pets feel comfortable and stress free in their familiar environment. I like to check in with pet parents often, sending pictures and updates to give them peace of mind while their pets are in my care.
“Michelle and Dave are amazing! I knew I had found the perfect sitters within minutes. Truly dog lovers. My three year old Pom Chi has never had day care, she loves them! I highly recommend them!”

“Shannon and her husband were amazing! They're very caring people. They also have a French bulldog which was a plus for our frenchie. When it came time to pick up our pup, she didn't want to leave. That's the best sign of a successful playdate. Anyway, we highly recommend Shannon and we will definitely be using her again. Thanks, Shannon!! :)”

“Elaine did an absolutely fantastic job taking care of my two dogs! Her communication was excellent throughout, keeping me updated with adorable pictures that showed just how much fun they were having. I could tell they were well cared for, and they came home happy and tired from all the playtime. Highly recommend Elaine for anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter! 🐶✨”

“Alexa was wonderful with our shy pup Ollie. She sent regular updates and photos throughout the day, which gave us such peace of mind. Ollie takes time to warm up to new people, and Alexa was incredibly patient and she let him come around on his own terms. We’re so grateful to have found someone we can trust with our little guy. Highly recommend Alexa!”

“We came into town from the Bay Area and wanted to do some whitewater rafting that wouldn’t allow dogs. Sara was kind of enough to watch our 12 pound shih tzu. Sara asked for his vaccinations records to make sure no dog would get sick, which was very reassuring to us. We felt very comfortable leaving him there and believe he had a lot of fun at her place playing with the other dogs. Sara checked in multiple times with updates and pictures and was very accommodating when we asked to pick him up an hour later than originally discussed. If we come to the area again and need a dog sitter, we won’t hesitate to reach out to Sara. We highly recommend her!”

“My dog Winter had a wonderful time! Pranavi was nice and sent me multiple pictures to let me know my dog was getting along well and was having fun. She was also very accommodating when my pick up had to be later due to the notorious traffic in San Francisco added an hour to my drive. I will definitely let Winter have a fun time again when we're in the area!”

“Henry and Sharon have been amazing dog sitters for my 7month old puppy Bodhi. They watch him for puppy daycare one day weekly. They are very communicative and reliable and make sure they understand your dog’s personality and care needs so they can make it a comfortable and positive stay. We had a meet and greet with their dog Rufus prior to setting up daycare and Bodhi and Rufus play very well together. They always send a Rover card documenting how the day went with photos and potty breaks. They even go above and beyond and give Bodhi mental enrichment with puzzles and healthy treats. Thank you Sharon and Henry for taking such good care of my little boy!”

About: I have been talking care of animals all my life! Have had cats, dogs, chickens, and rabbits! I was apart of FFA in high school taking care of farm animals too! Animals have always been my passion of mine and I love their unique personalities! I currently work part time in a restaurant, but I’m never gone for more that 6 hours, I always have time to play with your pets, to feed them, and to give them all the scratches 🥰 I’ll keep them safe in there environment, make sure they get into nothing that they can get into. I’ve memorized all the food dogs and cat cannot eat! Keeping them safe, healthy, and happy in there environment is my #1 priority! 🥰

Mornings and evening are best. As well as Tuesdays, and weekends. I do not provide pet care in my own home at this time, but I will gladly come to yours and spend time with your fur babies!

“Melissa and her family and pets were wonderful and took excellent care of my dog when I had to go out of town. She is easy to communicate with and sends regular updates which is appreciated. I can highly recommend her.”

“I highly recommend Blaze! She provided excellent care, and kept me updated with photos and videos. My dog was comfortable with her and her childrens. (My dog is Anxious). If I have to do it again, I would do it in an heartbeat.”

“Sarawari and her son are super friendly people. Their house is big and has a giant backyard for my husky to run around and play in. We will definitely be coming back whenever we need someone to watch Rocky.”

About: I've been helping care for friends' and family's dogs since I was 10 years old. Because I've always loved dogs and hoped to have one of my own someday, I've spent a lot of time learning about dog care, behavior, training, and enrichment. I've worked with puppies frequently in the past and am comfortable with the extra patience, supervision, and consistency they require. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, or sticking to a specific routine, I always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for. Pet care fits great into my routine. I have a flexible schedule, and I'm available throughout most weekdays for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, and playtime and I always make sure to follow each pet's routine as closely as possible. While I do have some weekend commitments and can't do late nights, I have an otherwise open schedule. When caring for pets in a client's home, I make it a priority to follow their normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive the attention they need. When caring for puppies, I'm especially attentive to potty breaks, supervision, and maintaining any training routines. I'll also make keep the owners updated throughout the day.
