“Kelly took care of my sweet boy for 3 days while I was away on a trip. She is very nice and easy to talk to, keeps you fully updated with pictures and videos of your fur baby. My dog does have some nerves in new places, but her warmed right up to her and her home! I would definitely recommend Kelly to anyone who needs this service and would use her again myself.”

“They took amazing care of Vinny! From the meet and greet to pick up I was treated with kindness. The whole time I was gone I got pictures and videos of him. Also including any concerns that had come up. I would 100% book again.”

“Our dogs, Lulu and Zumi, had such a good time with Yetta and her sons! We left them over the weekend and I was a little anxious because Lulu takes different medication multiple times a day. Yetta was really good about sending pictures and updates so I felt confident and comfortable with them there. If we ever go out of town again, we will definitely be contacting her again!”

“Mel is the best! Evie loves spending time with her, her family, and all of the furry friends that spend time with them. I never doubt that my pup is being well taken care of and I love to see her tail-wagging and smiling!”

“Thank you for all your help! Bruce had a fantastic time and fell asleep right when he got home. I could tell he enjoyed it and all the pictures were so helpful to let me know he was enjoying himself while I traveled!”

“Kathy and her daughter were wonderful! My dog was very happy when I picked her up so I know she was well cared for while I was away. I will definitely rebook with Kathy m. the next time I am in the area. Thank you for taking such good care of my dog. 😊”

“Manuel was great. He sent pictures of our Bella and was quick to reply when checked in on her. We ran three hours late due to delays and traffic from our trip and Manuel was kind and accommodating.. will definitely recommend and use them again”

We highly recommend Sandra to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter. Thank you Sandra!!”

“Diana was absolutely amazing! She took incredible care of Stark and Rufio over the Thanksgiving weekend, and we had complete peace of mind the entire time. Her communication was a 10/10 she sent daily updates, photos, and even surprised us with adorable holiday pictures of our pups by the Christmas tree. Such a thoughtful touch! Her home was spotless, our boys were clearly comfortable and happy, and she truly went above and beyond in every way. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Honestly, 10/10. We will definitely be booking with her again. Highly, highly recommend!”

“Wonderful! She took great care of my 3 cats and sent pictures showing how they were doing throughout the day. The cats were so relaxed and enjoyed their stay. I will definitely book with them again”

“I can’t express enough how awesome, kind and reliable Guadelupe was with my two pups. My dog sitter cancelled at the last moment the day before I had plans. I have never been on Rover.com so I was a little hesitant at first but I read lots of reviews on it and I found Guadelupe. Her profile feedbacks were all so wonderful so I decided to message her. And right away she responded quickly and everytime. Once I dropped off my pups to her she texted me a little later and kept me updated throughout the evening and night with pictures of how happy they were. I showed my friends the pics of how happy my dogs looked and it made my heart so full. I would definitely love for her to watch them again in the future with out any hesitation. I 100% recommend her. Thank you Guadelupe!!”
“Laurel cared for our two dogs, and everything went great. She's very good at sending pictures and videos, so you know your babies are well cared for. Her house and yard feel very secure, as far as dogs getting out of the yard. I highly recommend Laurel and will hopefully use her again.”

About: (Provided details for breeds of pets I cannot watch at the bottom) (Note for new families: I am able to do on base and off base services) I love furry, feathery, and scaly friends to the moon and back! I have an open schedule, and I try to be as accommodating as possible. I grew up with what I feel is almost every type of animal imaginable, so nothing gets past me. I have also grown up around many litters of puppies, so I have experience bottle-feeding and attending to needs. I also have dealt with animals diagnosed with dementia and other health problems they just need a little extra love and time is all! I also have handled disabled pets including missing appendages and paralysis. I love being able to give pets the attention and time they need and deserve while the owners can be worry-free. Dog breeds I cannot watch in my home are pit bulls, Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, chow chows, and wolf hybrids. This is just part of the navy’s housing policies. Pet care is my priority! I currently don’t have a job since I just moved to this area a couple of months ago so I am completely available to give furry friends the attention they need. Since I am not in a position to take pets into my own home I try to be my absolute best wherever I am! I am a big advocate for respect not only to others but their property as well so when working with clients and their homes I hold myself to a standard of leaving everything as it was unless specifically told otherwise. Doing this can also help me build trust with the pet simply as an acknowledgment that I understand that it is their territory and I am in their space.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a child. And from my senior year of high school until my freshman year of college I worked at an Animal rescue, taking care and adopting out a plethora of animals. I am currently working full time. But would definitely be able to take care of your animals from 4pm on Friday’s until 9 pm on Sunday’s. I have a fenced in yard with one medium sized dog and two cats. My animals are very loving and don’t really ever have issues with other animals. There are lots of toys to also keep your dogs and cats entertained and comfortable. There’s also a dog park at the end of my street that I would love to take your pets to.
About: Having to raise a dog who was from a troubled past has prepared me with patience and resilience that is needed in good dog care. Every pet is different as and no two pets are alike. Having works as a receptionist in a veterinary hospital I have learned the proper care for every animal that passed through our doors. Some weeks I work 7-4 and another I work 11-8 so I would work either early in the mornings or later in the evenings. I do work at a vet hospital so If your pet is needed for an overnight stay I am able to take them to work with me :) My neighborhood is a very pet friendly area with several trails people use to walk their pets 24/7 and I am more than comfortable doing so if requested!
“Alysabeth was great! I live on base and we worked out how to get her a guest pass which wasn’t difficult but did require a couple trips to Pass and ID which she was more than willing to do! She followed instructions and was also a doll and took my garbage cans to the curb without asking just so we didn’t miss pick up day! Will definitely be using her again!”

About: Animal care is my absolute passion and it's a goal of mine to earn licensure as a vet technician! I grew up on a ranch around animals big and small and for the last 4 years have been professionally pet-sitting; mostly cats and dogs but also rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and birds. I'm comfortable with any medication administration, special food preparation, or exercise/training requirements that your pet needs and can accommodate any requests. As a fully online student, I have complete flexibility in my day to care for your pet. I'm available daily, including weekends, and accept bookings same-day. I also accept drop in/house sitting requests for most small animals including rodents and reptiles. I have no animals of my own so your pets will have my complete attention and the house to themselves. My apartment complex has plenty of green grass and wildlife for enrichment walks and play, and my home has sunny windows for sunbathing. Safety, trust, and comfortability are my ultimate priorities and I would care for your pets/home the same way I would want someone to care for mine.

About: Hi! I'm a passionate and attentive pet caregiver with 5+ years of personal experience and 1 year of professional dog-sitting under my belt. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and energy levels—from high-energy pups who love a good run, to mellow seniors who just want a snuggle buddy. One of my own dogs experiences focal seizures, so I’m very familiar with providing calm, capable care in medical situations. I’m also experienced with administering medications (pills, drops, etc.) and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable during the process. My dog Mr. Peanutbutter has had bad experiences with larger dogs so I understand pups who need a little extra care with anxiety. I’ve worked with a variety of animals, including ducks, and I’d be happy to check in on other pets (like cats, birds, or small animals) or care for your plants while you’re away. Whether your pet needs a quick drop-in, an energetic walk, or overnight care, I bring patience, responsibility, and plenty of love to every visit. I treat every animal like they’re my own—and I can’t wait to meet yours! Pet care is my passion and my full time focus while saving up for higher education. Pet care is what I'm focused on when not studying. I only have late night class for 2 hours 1 night a week and at home studying so I have much time to focus on specific needs. My home has a fenced yard with plenty of space to run and and play with a patio area and another fenced off pool area.
“We are always so nervous when being in a new place and needing a dog sitter, but they told us right away they were at home. Loved the pictures and videos of their stay.”

About: Just a girl from California! I grew up with dogs & cats my whole life. From pets to farm animals. I have great experience :) I have a Belgian Malinois of my own. I will care for your fur baby as if they were my own! I am currently free and can work around my schedule :) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I live in a home with a fenced yard! I have a dog of my own to keep your fur baby company. I can crate if needed!
About: I’ve been an animal lover since birth and began actively helping care for cats and dogs at age 6. I’ve cared for pregnant stray cats and fostered their newborn kittens to young adulthood and beyond. I’ve both raised and helped train dogs from birth as well as caring for elderly pups. I’ve seen animals at all stages of life and cared for them at all stages of life, both cat and dog. I am active and love to walk so if that’s your dog we’ll get along great! I also love relaxing while drinking tea, reading, or gardening, so if your fur baby is a bit on the calmer side or elderly they’ll get plenty of rest, cuddles, and love. I work part-time but I walk/bike daily and have the majority of my days free to walk, play, and love on sweet fur baby’s. I miss having animals in my home and would love to help you with yours! I have a good size fenced-in backyard and am not too worried about little (or big) paws on my furniture. There's room to play either inside or out, a quiet neighborhood to walk in, and a park a few minutes away. If your companion is crate trained I do have my own crates if that is something you need/are interested in. I have had to care for sick as well as elderly babies, both dogs, and cats, so if your pet needs certain accommodations or extra attention I have some experience in working with those that need a little extra help.
About: I understand that your fur babies are your family and can’t wait to meet them. With 32 years of general pet care and ownership experience (and counting), I look forward to loving and caring for your furry family members. I’m a stay at home Mom to a few fur babies and my daughter. My schedule is very flexible and can be adjusted fairly easily with communication. I’m happy to adopt any schedule or routines requested for yours and your pet’s happiness. I’m flexible and can care for your fur babies at any location required. I look forward to welcoming you and your pets into our little family.
“An amazing family with the needs of you & your pet at top priority. Overall took amazing care of my girl. Sent updates and pictures without being asked or haggled to. That was a huge plus in my book. Very professional and the love of our furry friends is well shown here. I was very impressed and was able to enjoy my day out with my daughter without worry or fear. If Mrs. Rachel was on the clock I’d demand a raise for her.”

About: I grew up with dogs- Huskies and German Shepard. Also grew up with cats- mostly Siamese. I’m very active and love running and long walks if you’re pup is for it! I have an eager almost six year old son who loves to help out and is very gentle with pets. I’m a teacher, so I’m available weekends, all the long holiday breaks, and all summer. I can do during the work week as well, but am gone 7.5 hours! My son is wanting a dog and I’m looking for any excuse to get outdoors and moving as much as possible, so I figured dog walking and sitting would be perfect for our little family. We have some big goals for our little family as well and would love the opportunity to earn your business and help us accomplish those :) We don’t discriminate against cats and would love to watch them as well. I live in a pet friendly community and can sit in my all hardwood floor three bedroom townhome that has a dog park on site. During the school year, I am gone for 7.5 hours during the day, so please keep that in mind if you need boarding on weekdays when school is in session :) A few musta for doggies in our home- they must be house trained, they must be okay home alone for the workday (unless during a holiday week or summer), in which case they must be okay independently for up to 5 hours. Dogs cannot be temperamental or whine/bark when left alone out of respect for neighbors and their own well being :)

They are use to other animals. I also have crates if needed.

About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life. I grew up on a farm, so dogs are a walk in the park! My experience with dogs is primarily with working breeds. I’ve always done my own grooming, and currently am mom to a rambunctious Belgian Malinois! I work for an after school program that is currently out for the summer, so I have plenty of time for helping during the day! I have rather small fenced yard, but am very familiar with the local dog park, where I take my dog friendly Malinois, Mace, daily. If in my home, your furry family member should preferably be crate trained, but I am open to conversation!
About: Pet Care Experience Hi! I’m Guadalupe. Most people call me Lupe or Lu 😊. Thanks for stopping by! What sets me apart is that I intentionally take on only a small number of pets at a time. I keep my pet count small to ensure every pet receives my full attention and a calm, stress-free stay. My Care Style (What Your Pet Can Expect) I’ve always been an animal lover and enjoy staying active with pets. I provide multiple daily walks, playtime, and quiet companionship so your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule, which allows for plenty of one-on-one time and occasional last-minute requests. I’m a great fit for: • Dogs who prefer a calm, low-stress environment • Senior dogs • Shy or anxious pets • Cat-friendly dogs preferred but not required. About My Home I live in a house with a small, enclosed yard, perfect for safe potty breaks and fresh air. Pets are welcome to relax and lounge throughout my home. I have one resident cat, a lazy, easygoing guy, and I’m happy to manage space or keep pets separated as needed so everyone feels comfortable. There are no children in the home, which helps keep the environment calm and predictable. Walks & Outdoor Time In addition to yard time, I live near parks and walking trails, so your dog will enjoy regular walks, enrichment, and plenty of sniff time. Ideal Fit I’m a great match for pet parents who value quality over quantity and want their pet to receive attentive, personalized care in a peaceful home setting. Important Notes • Please bring your pet’s food, bowls, leash, collar or harness, medications, and any comfort items needed for their stay. • For safety reasons, I’m unable to accommodate overly aggressive dogs. Your pet will be cared for with patience, kindness, and genuine attention, just like family 🤍🐾 My schedule is pretty flexible as a work-from-home. I occasionally have to go into the office but I will let you know in advance. My husband is also available in case we need to make any accommodations to our schedule. I provide a calm, attentive environment and intentionally limit the number of pets I care for so each pet receives close supervision and individualized care. In my home, pets are monitored throughout the day and cared for according to your instructions, including feeding, walks, medications, and routines. I live in a house with a small, enclosed yard for safe potty breaks and also provide regular walks. I have one calm resident cat and can manage space or keep pets separated as needed to ensure everyone stays comfortable. When caring for pets in your home, I respect your space and follow your routines carefully. I provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is safe and well cared for.
About: I’ve had a variety of pets and a passion for animals my whole life. I worked in the veterinary industry for 4 years which gives me a unique insight and understanding of basic ailments that might need veterinary attention. I’m also a certified dog trainer. I have implemented training with every dog I’ve owned since I was a child and have been doing so with certification for 12 years. Should you decide to allow me to care for your fur babies, an added bonus is that they may learn some new behaviors as a result of my training experience. I have been working from home for a year and have two dogs of my own. We have developed a routine that has allowed me the ability to put more time and energy to help others. I have a 18 year old daughter who assists in the care of our two dogs so I have more time to focus on caring for your furry friend/family member. I have a fenced yard with two friendly dogs. A seven year old French bulldog, Watson, and a one and a half year old Cane Corso, Gus. We also have two cats that like to be outdoors with the various cats in the neighborhood. Our two dogs are predominantly inside with occasional kennel time and/or use of baby gates to ensure safety when necessary.

“Maddison was flexible with time and worked around my schedule. The dogs gravitated towards her right away and looked so happy in the pictures I was sent. We went home and they slept the whole night. It was a very good walk.”
“Kind, communicative, & excellent with my chaotic boy. I'm a firm believer that you can usually tell if someone is not a great person by how dogs respond to them. My dog IMMEDIATELY went up to her and was SOOO excited for her attention! She also got a solid walk in during the time frame! Definitely recommend.”

I utilize positive reinforcement methods to encourage desired behaviors. - **Senior Pet Care:** I understand the unique requirements of senior pets, such as dietary restrictions, medication management, and gentle exercise routines. I take the time to ensure they are comfortable and provide engaging activities to keep them mentally stimulated. - **First Aid Certification:** I'm certified in pet first aid and CPR, which gives me the ability to handle emergencies effectively and provide immediate care when needed. - **Personalized Care Plans:** I create individualized care plans for each pet, considering their health needs, daily routines, and preferences. This helps foster a sense of security and comfort while their owners are away. With my experience and special skills in pet training and senior care, I strive to provide a nurturing environment that promotes happiness and health for every pet I sit. Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly routine, seamlessly blending with my lifestyle and responsibilities. Here’s how I incorporate it: 1. **Morning Routine:** My day starts with a commitment to my own pets or the pets in my care. I ensure they are fed, given fresh water, and taken for a morning walk. This not only helps with their physical health but also establishes a positive start to I maintain a flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate various pet care needs. Whether it’s visiting pets during the day for walks and playtime or providing overnight stays, I adjust my activities to ensure each pet receives the attention Throughout the day, I check in with the pets I’m caring for, observing behavior and ensuring they are happy and comfortable. This includes play sessions, training exercises, or simply spending quality time together. I prioritize communication with pet owners. I send regular updates and photos, giving them peace of mind while they are away. This helps build trust and keeps everyone informed about how their pets are doing. In the evenings, I often dedicate time to enrichment activities such as training sessions, games, or leisurely walks. This not only helps with physical exercise but also strengthens the bond between pets and myself. On weekends, I like to plan longer outings or visits to local parks, giving pets the chance to explore new environments and socialize with other animals. These outings help keep them engaged and happy. By incorporating pet care into my daily and weekly routine, I ensure that the pets I look after receive consistent and loving attention, contributing to their overall well-being and happiness. Caring for pets, whether in my home or in my client's home, requires a tailored approach that prioritizes the comfort, safety, and well-being of the animals. Here’s how I manage pet care. My home is equipped with a pet-friendly environment, ensuring that there are no hazards such as toxic plants, small objects, or chemicals within reach. I have designated areas for pets to relax and play. 2. **Daily Routine:** Pets staying with me benefit from a structured routine that includes feeding, exercise, and playtime. I adhere to the feeding schedule provided by the pet owner to foster a loving atmosphere through regular interaction, bonding activities, and enrichment exercises. Whether it's playing fetch, engaging in training sessions, or cuddling, I ensure that pets feel happy and secure. 4. **Health Monitoring:** I keep a close eye on the pets for any signs of discomfort or health issues. Regular check-ins and playtime help me I understand the importance of maintaining a pet’s routine in their familiar surroundings. I follow the client’s specified feeding, walking, and play schedules to provide consistency and comfort. 2. **Safety Protocols:** I ensure that the home is secure, checking that doors and windows are locked and that pets are provided with a safe area to relax. If applicable, I also supervise interactions with other pets or children.
“Alli is reliable, kind, and knows her dog breeds. I have a high energy/ quirky Aussie and he took to Alli immediately! She has such a calming energ and clearly is very comfortable with animals. Even better, she’s great at communicating and sending updates. Highly recommend Alli”

“Keryn has been walking my puppy, Sadie, daily and for special events, for about 1.5 months. She's a fantastic walker -- reliable, communicative, and loving with my "shy to new people" doggy. I highly recommend Keryn.”

About: I’m currently in college to be a nurse. I’ve grown up with animals my whole life, from goats, chickens, and ducks to dogs and cats. I’m excited to be able to meet new pets and spend time with them. My schedule is pretty open, as I only have classes on Tuesday and Thursday and every other day I’m free. I’m willing to take care of your pet on the weekends as well. I ensure that all the pets that I have taken care of have the proper food and water they need, as well as get a source of exercise whether it’s a walk or play time, and that they also get lots of cuddles.

“Zoie was wonderful! She was prompt, friendly, and very attentive to my dogs. I booked a 30-minute walk, but she noticed that my senior dogs were already tired after about 15 minutes due to the heat. She reached out right away to check in and thoughtfully recommended taking them home rather than pushing them past their comfort level. I really appreciated her communication and genuine care for my dogs’ well-being. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her.”

“Our dogs, Lulu and Zumi, had such a good time with Yetta and her sons! We left them over the weekend and I was a little anxious because Lulu takes different medication multiple times a day.
About: Working remotely I give your pets the care and love that they deserve. More hugs! More walks! More love! More safety! In rural vt I cared for small and large homes, and medium to larger dogs. Active pets I am active. Older pets and I respite with them more. Every animal has a different personality and different needs. I care. They seem to know. lol. On a side note I volunteer with a local animal shelter and a food bank. I try to make a difference where I can. Growing up we had family dogs. It taught me how amazing animals are. I now have time to give them kindness and love as you would... When I stay in your home your pets have less stress and anxiety in a familiar place. In my home or yours, I take pets for walks and caring play time throughout my workday. This care and attention and play reduces stress and your pet may be more relaxed coming home like after a day at the spa. Yup. :-) Working from my home or yours means more care for your loved family member (aka pets)!
“I’m a first time dog mom leaving my baby with a sitter other than family. I was so overwhelmed when I was searching for someone, then I landed here on rover and found ReShan. His reviews alone made me feel better about inquiring followed by booking. He’s warm and friendly and the knowledge and care he expresses about my particular breed was appreciated. I was the one with the so much anxiety about leaving her that all dissipated on our first meeting. I left her for two nights and the daily updates were a definite added bonus that made me feel good about my choice not only for a sitter, but actually leaving her. I’d definitely book ReShan again in the future.”

“Definitely would recommend Carola, she has so much love for dogs and you can tell she enjoys taking care of them. She treated our 5 month old puppy as it was her own, she kept us updated throughout the boarding with pictures and videos. I can tell that our dog enjoyed spending time with her and playing with his new furry friends.”
