“Linda was really great with our senior dog. She really watched out for Lizzie and cared for her beyond what I could have imagined. Lizzie began having severe health issues (preexisting health problems that just got worse) and Linda made sure to let me know what was going on. Lizzie refused to eat or drink anything, and appeared to be in respiratory distress. Eventually Linda had to take our dog to an emergency vet. I had to fly back from Utah and couldn’t be there until late at night, so Linda stayed with Lizzie as long as she could and sent me photos and updates on Lizzie’s status the entire time. I cannot express my gratitude for Linda’s care and compassion for Lizzie. Wonderful dog sitter, so kind and truly a dog lover. I cannot recommend Linda enough!”

About: Owner Away? I’ll Sit and Stay. I am willing to take care of your dog at my house or yours and have been an avid lover of our furry friends for as long as I can remember. Besides caring for dogs, cats, birds, fish and gerbils of my own in the past, I have been declared the animal whisperer in my family. I am currently a third-year student studying to create prosthetics for animals at Cal Poly University and volunteer with Guide Dogs for the Blind as well as two other organizations that foster and rehouse animals to their furrrever homes. Her house is on a large property that's fully enclosed and in a beautiful gated community in the hills. Whether you have a big dog that loves to run around and interact with other friendly animals or a small dog that prefers to spend time inside close to people, Michelle's house is an awesome place for pets! My dog has major separation anxiety, but instead of stressing out like he normally does when he knows I'm leaving him, Oakley immediately settled in and started exploring the property with one of her dogs right after we got there! I could tell from Michelle's updates and photos that Oakley was really enjoying his time there and felt comfortable he would be well taken care of if he needed to stay even longer in the future. The location of her house turned out to be really convenient and close to where I was going, but even if I'm further away the next time I'm in town and need a sitter, I know that Michelle will be our first choice for sure!”

About: I have loved animals my whole life and have had many pets; dogs, cats, horses, birds, rabbits, sheep and more. I thoroughly enjoy being with animals, loving and caring for them. Some of my first jobs were at animal clinics, where I learned a lot about caring for animals. I was in FFA as a youth, where I raised and showed sheep, and where I also learned a lot. About: I have been a full-time puppy whelper for the past 8 years and come highly recommended with lots of references. I welcome all different breeds. I am always home. While I do have to pick up and drop off my children for their various sports and activities, it’s just a five minute drive away.I am always available. I have two separate backyards-one for the smaller dogs and one for the bigger ones. However I’m accustomed to rotating them due to my experience as a whelper. I know how to manage introducing new dogs and keeping them separate if needed.My dogs have access to indoors and outdoors, and they sleep in the house at night. We offer different places to keep them safe if running off leash is not the best for your baby. I am a self-employed realtor, who works from home. My husband is a rancher and contractor so one of us is typically home there are times of course when we leave but everybody is locked up safe and sound and they are also welcome to take the car ride with us should we need to run some errands. if it’s important that nobody ever leaves your baby, we can make that accommodation as well. We have a 12 x 24 kennel with multiple dog houses we have kennels of different sizes. We also have a barn with 12 x 12 stalls. We have a fenced in deck that is 30 x 50 so there are many opportunities for your baby to be outside in the fresh air And still be safe. If your dog is an inside dog, we will keep him inside with us and he will be warm and cozy at bedtime.
About: I have always had dogs/animals. We have 5 dogs of our own. We also foster with a local rescue. We specialize in the squish face breeds. We completely understand climate control. We love to exercise outside and go out often to romp. I am currently working remote part of the time (office days are Tues/Thurs). We typically always have someone home and the dogs are likely never alone for more than a 2-3 hour period. Our dogs are very friendly and love to play! We do not have a fenced yard, so our preference would be dogs that are not a flight risk! We can use a flexi leash for potty breaks but that would limit outside play for our guests. We live on 2.5 acres with a lot of grass to romp and play. Our dogs do not go outside unless supervised.

About: I have cared for and loved animals since I was a little girl. I was raised in a house with dogs of all types and have continued to have them in my life. I have two rescues, a 6-lb sweet female chihuahua and a 30-lb shy male terrier mix, that love to be around other dogs but who also are submissive to and respect other dogs’ needs for their own space. Having been a zookeeper and vet tech, I have worked on training various critters, as well as cared for elderly animals that need special attention or medications. I work from home with my husband full time and we are always ready for fur baby snuggles on our couch and bed. We also live near a canal and trails, so dog walks are very frequent in our home. Because we live farther away, we are also willing to come do pickups to keep you from having to drive to us, but we understand completely wanting to see where your pups are staying. I work from home nearly full time except Tuesdays, but my husband is home full time everyday. I am an early riser and can do early walks/pickup/potty breaks. As we are working on house projects due to this being a new and first home purchase, we are gone a ton on the weekends too. If I am staying at your home, I can arrange to be there constantly because my husband is home to care for my pups. I don’t have a fenced yard, but live very close to a dog park that is fenced. I also have a canal trail right off my driveway and we walk our two dogs on it all the time. My two babies are extremely sweet and friendly with other dogs. I am an extremely tidy and organized person, so whether your pup stays with me or I come to your home, I can guarantee I will always leave things as good or better than I found them. Also, if you have any last-minute travel issues, I can almost always adapt to host longer to make sure you don’t have to stress about what will happen to your pup.

We have always had our own pets and we have taken care of other peoples furry family members for years, We have fostered for Homeward Bound Golden Retriever Rescue for the last 25 years. If your pup is used to sleeping on a dog bed, or on the couch, or with people, they can do the same here with us. We won’t change the rules on them. We are well-versed in taking care of dogs with special needs or just simply providing TLC. When we have had fosters, we helped pups recover from surgery, given medications, adjusted pups to family life, trained and more. We just lost our sweet pup Cooper so we don’t have any pets at our house. This might be helpful if you have a dog that likes people all to themselves or if you have multiple dogs. Walks, car ride (wind in their hair) treats, playtime, attention, lounging in the fenced yard are all available. “Linda was really great with our senior dog. She really watched out for Lizzie and cared for her beyond what I could have imagined. Lizzie began having severe health issues (preexisting health problems that just got worse) and Linda made sure to let me know what was going on. Lizzie refused to eat or drink anything, and appeared to be in respiratory distress. Eventually Linda had to take our dog to an emergency vet. I had to fly back from Utah and couldn’t be there until late at night, so Linda stayed with Lizzie as long as she could and sent me photos and updates on Lizzie’s status the entire time. I cannot express my gratitude for Linda’s care and compassion for Lizzie. Wonderful dog sitter, so kind and truly a dog lover. I cannot recommend Linda enough!”

About: Dogs have always been a part of my life. I grew up with dogs, including a Golden Retriever, and I've always had a soft spot for animals of all kinds. After settling down and starting our family, we were ready to bring a dog back into our lives, and in 2024 we adopted Izzy, our friendly 2-year-old female German Shorthaired Pointer. Our family loves having Izzy around, and I would love the opportunity to give your dog the same kind of attention, affection, and care while you're away. I work from home, so your dog won't be spending the day alone. They'll get plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and love throughout their stay. We live in a clean, comfortable, family-friendly home on nearly half an acre with a fully fenced yard and a doggie door that gives dogs easy access to the yard throughout the day. Our home is welcoming to both kids and animals, and your dog will be able to enjoy the freedom to go outside, play, explore, or come back inside whenever they'd like. My husband and I were adventurous before settling down and starting our family so we decided not to jump into pet ownership until more recently. Now after having kids, we want to make sure that we are all fully ready to jump back into the long term commitment of pet ownership. In the meantime though, I have a lot of love to share and I would adore hosting your pet. My home is in town but offers nearly a half acre of fenced in yard space. I am happy to keep your pet indoors, outdoors, or a mix. Whatever you and your pet prefer, I can accommodate. I work from home and can give your pet lots of attention throughout the day.
