“tl;dr: if you have an anxious dog that is fearful of new people, trust Jamie to take care of your dog! We have a 10 month old puppy who is very anxious around new people and can growl. At the vet, he has gotten muzzled and needs to be sedated for regular visits. Elaine’s pet resort failed our dog within 1 hour of his meet and greet and we had to pick him up because he was “growling and aggressive.” We know that our dog is not aggressive and that he just needed someone who loves dogs and took the time to bond with him and wasn’t unnecessarily fearful of him. Jamie was that person! She is phenomenal! Our dog stayed with Jamie for 10 consecutive days with no problem! Jamie took photos during the entire stay and kept us informed. When his paws started bleeding, she even put little booties on his feet so that he could keep playing outside. Based on the photos she sent and how he acted upon pick-up, I know that our dog had a great time and truly ended up bonding and loving Jamie. Jamie really does have a gift with dogs! It was also great that she had lots of other dogs around for ours to play with and get his energy out. Thank you Jamie!”

I have taken care of all sorts of pets and animals, from a 125 pound Bernese Mountain Dog in England, the tiniest Yorkies you've ever seen in Germany, a gorgeous Rhodesian Ridgeback, two sweet cat brothers in Barcelona, managed a smallholding in Scotland full of guinea fowl, several chocolate labs, cats and chickens, I took the dogs I was caring for in Germany to their bi-weekly training while not even being able to speak German - and I could go on and on for days! About: My family have had dogs since I was very young. Currently, I am a doggie mum to a Maltese-mix-ShihTzu, her name is ChouChou, for 10 happy years. I am also a dog groomer, so I experienced in working with dogs in different sizes & breeds. I only have one doggie boarding at a time, although I am happy to take a brother or sister as well. I am working part time so I have time for them to play or walk. I am available weekdays, weekend and holiday boarding by arrangement. I live in a safe flat, closed so they won't be able to go anywhere. After walk, I will wash them if needed or brush, remove plants from their fur, check their paws... etc. I will feed our fur guest with clean food, water and pet them to ensure they feel comfortable, easy and happy. Safety is the most important thing when we have a fur guest, I always keep eyes on the dogs I take care. Your little furry won't get bored or lonely as they will have me and my little one to cuddle here !

My dog brought so much joy and happiness to my life, I can't even explain how much he helped shape who I am today. he passed away 3 years ago and it has been really hard. I truly cherish all the great memories within those 16 awesome years. I've been through it all with my dog...sick days, happy days, arthritis, allergies, dog bites, fleas, rashes, cysts, heart issues....lets not forget about walking him in the rain, sleet, snow, hurricanes, scorching heat and earth quakes lol...when your baby needs to be taken care of, you don't think twice. Being that I was a doggy mommy for 16 years, I have a vast knowledge on how to take care of dogs and what it takes to take care of dogs. That went fine, so I booked a 4 night stay recently. I was so pleased with how Casey took care of Pipa, she sent me a photo, gave me updates on how Pipa was doing and everything went really well.
