About: I’ve raised puppies, kittens, baby birds, chickens and various other animals, I’ve also had experience working on a dog farm and groomed various types of breeds. I’m available for part-time work and am flexible when it comes to scheduling. I am open to working Monday-Sun as long as it’s planned at least a week in advance. I have a fenced large yard with two separate deck areas, I am open to bringing the pets over and housing them or going to a clients house and pet sitting, walking or even bathing if needed in a comfortable and familiar place for the pet.
“Sylvia was just perfect! She is obviously an old hand at caring for dogs and I felt very comfortable leaving my Beagle/Jack Russel mix with her for eight nights while I was out of the country on business. We did a meet and greet a few days before my trip and I instantly saw that it was going to work. Her location in central Phoenix near the Phoenix Country Club area is probably on the way to or from the airport for many. Very convenient... The one thing that impressed me the most when I dropped my little guy off at the start was how Sylvia reviewed my printed instruction sheet on feeding and meds very carefully. She asked questions and confirmed details. She also sent a nicely worded report after the first night that helped me relax about leaving him and then another report on how he was doing near the end of the trip. It was just enough to keep me informed and happy that he was doing ok. When I picked up Harvey at the end of his eight night stay, he was glad to see me, but not too glad. He seemed happy and content. And... that is the most you can ask of a sitter like Sylvia... to take care of your little loved one like he was her own... Sylvia certainly did with flying colors! We apologized and felt horrible, but Crystal reassured us that it wasn't a problem and she had plenty of food and toys to keep her occupied. I care for my pets and/or my clients pets as if they were my own. I take them out for walks twice a day, morning and evening. I also feed them twice a day and give them as much love as I can during the day.
About: I've got 23 years of veterinary technician experience as well as petsitting experience. I also worked for an organization that rescues Cocker Spaniels for 3 years. I was the manager and I took care of 25 dogs at a time as well as 2 horses, 2 goats, 2 pigs, 4 roosters, and a feral cat colony. I fed all the animals, cleaned their living quarters, picked up the yards, bathed as well as shave them if needed, nail trims, sanitary clips, administered medications of all types, did basic training with them, went to vet appointments if needed, laundry, and walked them. Being in the veterinary field has been a blessing for many clients whom have hired me to care for their furry babies because I am more attune at things many people may not notice. Clients are very grateful for that knowledge. I also water plants and clean houses and bring in mail for overnight stays. I am currently a stay at home mom with lots of time to spare. I've always juggled pet care and my family with no issues. I follow the instructions the client gives me no matter what. If they want the dog to wear a harness while.out for walks, then that's what I will do. If they don't want the dog left unattended outside even though they have a fenced in yard, then I'll stay out with them for as long as needed. I always do a parameter check to make sure there are no holes in the ground for the dog to have access to escape.
About: I grew up on a ranch, so I have extensive experience with all types of birds, horses, goats, cats, and dogs. I’ve house/pet sit for family and friends over the years. I have one fur baby of my own that stays with my parents when I’m not home. Dogs are the sweetest animals to walk this earth, change my mind. I work three days a week traveling, so I typically have 4 days a week available. Can travel in the Calaveras and Tuolumne county areas. My schedule give me the flexibility to check in with your pet throughout the day. Unfortunately, I don’t offer pet sitting for my house as I live with friends. I’m happy to take care of your pet in the comfort of their own home/ safe space. I am ever vigilant on walks and take into account things like daily temperature when scheduling or planning walks/outings.
About: Growing up with animals my entire life, I've branched out to caring for other's animals. From dogs, cats, snakes, and aquariums of all sizes, I am familiar with caring for all kinds of animals including those with special needs. I have worked with blind animals, those with complex medication routines, and those that needed physical therapy. I have also assisted in training animals with behavioral issues and prevented damage to homes while per owners are away. I also volunteer for the local FOAC in my free time.
