I am a 3 sport athlete with a 3.8 gpa thats ready for energetic playful dogs and lazy couch potato dogs, as i have both kinds myself! My schedule is fairly open most days. I have college wrestling practice on weekdays from 4–6 PM, but aside from that, I'm generally available throughout the summer, with the exception of a few occasions when I need to care for my younger brother, who has special needs. I was raised to respect people houses and living space. I have never and will never drink or smoke. I let my own dogs out 3 times a day morning evening and night with walks at night so they and I dont overheat. I love playing fetch and tug of war with them and by the time their inside their big lazy couch potatoes i love to sit with.

About: I have always had a dog but I can only attest to caring for those I’ve raised. I’ve raised two labs and a huskie pittie. I currently have a young 1 year old male lab who loves a great play session with another doggy friend. I’ve often dog cat overnight and it gives my pets great socialization opportunities. I currently work full time from home from 8am to 5pm. My dog is routinely walked 1 hours a day with several enticing activities through out my work day. On the weekend I like to take him to the park and hiking if there is no playdate scheduled. I have a fenced yard and the most social dog to keep them company. Plenty of toys and treats. About: I began to offer pet-sitting to friends and family just for some dog breath and tail wags in my life after my dog passed away. A family member told me about Rover and - here I am! My childhood dog was one of my best friends. We would play together for hours and I was responsible to feed, bathe, and clean up after him. He loved belly rubs and going with us on family walks. When the neighbor's dogs broke through the fence and attacked him, I was the one who flushed and cleaned his wounds, changed his bandages, and nursed him back to health after he came home from the vet. He became diabetic when he grew old and I gave him his insulin shots. I also had an outdoor cat, and pet sat for a neighbor who had an iguana, fish, water turtles, and cockatiels. As an adult, I adopted a pit-mix rescue and we enjoyed obedience training, going to the dog park, car rides for a pup cup, going for walks, and playing tug-of-war. Last year, he was diagnosed with an oral tumor and he needed lots of extra care during his last months. He needed medication 3 times a day, a specialized diet when it became difficult for him to eat kibble, and eventually hand-feeding for him to be able to eat at all. He passed away 14 years old. I wouldn't trade one minute. I'm currently working part-time in the morning and would love to spend my afternoons with animals. If you need someone to care for your pet mid-day, we're the perfect match. I provide care where your pet feels safest - in their own home environment. Please leave me detailed instructions so I know where to find their food and food bowl, leash, toys, medications, etc. If you have spacial boundaries for your pet such as not being allowed on the couch or bed, in specific rooms, or if they are outside-dog only, etc., please let me know so I can respect and enforce those boundaries.

When I could not locate a proper groomer for my shihtzu, I learned how cut my dog’s hair and clip his nails. About: I've had pet dogs of different sizes across my life, and I've met very few dogs that didn't get along with eventually. I volunteer time at a local animal shelter to walk and play with the dogs there that need it. I have an open routine at the moment, so I am able to accomodate your schedule.
