“Our dog Orzo had an excellent experience with Olga! Orzo is a very loving (aka clingy) dog, and Olga did a great job making him feel comfortable and loved during his 7 night stay. We received multiple photos each day of Orzo snuggling on the couch and playing with Olga's dog Charlie and other Rover dogs. The presence of other dogs was a big plus for Orzo. He had so much fun socializing with the other dogs that my husband and I joked Orzo was at "Doggy Summer Camp", complete with a special trip to the beach! Olga was kind enough to monitor Orzo on walks and let us know if he was hopping or favoring a back leg (this sometimes happens to him on long walks). Other attributes that made Olga stand-out as a great sitter include: a house with a fenced in yard (front and back) located in a great neighborhood perfect for walks, a clean and incredibly dog-friendly inside living environment, and competitive pricing! Overall, we would highly recommend Olga as a Rover sitter, and plan to make bookings with Olga (and Charlie!) for future travel. Thank you Olga for taking such great care of Orzo :)”

“Having Marisol as our pet sitter, is probably one of the best decisions we made prior to our Christmas vacation! This is our first time having a pet sitter for our cat Zelda, and hence we're a bit over-anxious about how it'd go. She was genuinely kind enough to drop by at our place prior to our departure to patiently listen and note down our requests and listing of Zelda's needs. She kept us updated everyday about Zelda's activities, attitude and even sent us tons of glamorous pics of her on a daily basis! She even obliged to keep our plants watered and attended to them when they we're withering, all without any explicit requests. Lastly, she ensured to keep our place clean by electing to throw the trash and cleaning a few of our left over items. All in all we can't recommend Marisol highly enough, and would urge anyone considering to have her as their pet sitter to not have a second thought. She's incredible! We hope to have her over again sometime (soon? :-)) Thank you for everything! Zelda misses you!”

About: I've loved animals my whole life and have cared for pets since 2016. I had my own bunny for five years, which taught me responsibility, patience, and how much consistency matters in pet care. Over the years, I've helped roommates, friends, and family with their pets, including feeding, walks (rain included!), baths when needed, cleaning up accidents, playtime, and companionship. While I don't yet provide emergency or medical care beyond the basics, I'm very comfortable with daily routines and making pets feel safe and loved. What sets me apart is that I'm very good at following instructions. I know every pet parent has specific preferences, and I respect that fully. During the first visit, I may ask clarifying questions to make sure I'm doing everything exactly how you like it. I also keep your home tidy and send regular updates with photos so you feel at ease. I'm available weekdays during standard working hours and would love to spend that time giving your pup or kitty attention, movement, and care. I'm currently available on weekdays during standard 9-5 hours, which makes me a great fit for midday walks, drop-in visits, and weekday care. I'm not available on weekends at this time. Since I'm focusing on weekday bookings, I'm able to give your pet my full attention during visits rather than rushing between commitments. Your pet's comfort and your home's safety are very important to me. I carefully follow all instructions, double-check doors and leashes, and make sure your pet is secure before and after walks. I maintain a calm presence and respect both your home and your pet's boundaries. I clean up after pets, keep litter areas and feeding spaces tidy, and leave your home as I found it. Clear communication is important to me, so you can expect updates, photos, and honest check-ins throughout my time with your pet.

About: I’m a local elementary school teacher who loves spending time with animals. During the school year, I teach full-time, and outside of the classroom I enjoy caring for pets in my community. I’ve been around dogs my entire life. Growing up, I helped walk and care for our family dogs, and as an adult I’ve continued dog walking and pet sitting both here in California and while living in the Boston area. I’m also an experienced cat owner with three cats of my own, so I’m very comfortable caring for cats with all kinds of personalities. One of my cats had significant behavioral challenges, which led me to work with an animal behaviorist and spend countless hours learning about feline behavior. Through patience, positive reinforcement, and clicker training, I taught him tricks and helped him become much more comfortable around people.
