We go for walks in them morning before work and there is a dog door into the back yard that can be open if needed. Fenced (6+ feet) back yard with locked gate. I have door dog insert on my back door so everyone can come and go as they please. I live in a small one room studio with a yard about four times its size. Dogs are allowed on the bed and there is a step up onto the bed for senior citizens. It is a small but very comfortable space.
