Since then I have adopted a new member of our family named Abel and I see gizmo in this new kitten more than I ever imagined I would. He is adorable, He is nuts, and he definitely has his fair share of craziness, as most kittens do. I’m very experienced with cats. I’ve grown up with cats and dogs and they’re not just pets. My husband and I have used to her a few times while we have been out of town to give our 16 year old kitty her daily blood pressure medicine. Not only is she friendly and responsive towards people as well as reliable. She’s patient and kind with pets. My 16 year old girl who’s normally shy around strangers was at first shy around Melissa but has since warmed up that when it isn’t med time, she will greet her and let Melissa pet her for a few seconds (as is her nature she isn’t a kitty that likes being touched in general unless it’s on her terms) Melissa has her own two pets which I think helps with knowing how to read animal body language but also helps animals eventually trust her. I recently graduated from Chico state and currently have two dogs of my own a 6 year old toy poodle and a 5 months old border collie mix. I work a consistent full-time schedule, with quite a bit of flexibility throughout the day. It makes it easy for me to plan pet care reliably throughout and around my work hours. My work hours are 6:00am-2:30 pm Tuesday - Saturday. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and other care, and I’m happy to coordinate a routine that works well for both you and your pet. I value consistency and punctuality, especially when pets are used to a specific feeding, walking, or medication schedule I live in a pet-friendly apartment near lots of walking trails. I currently don’t have any pets in the home(unless you count a shrimp 🦐) I take pet care instructions seriously and always try to keep your pet’s routine as familiar and low stress as possible. I pay close attention to feeding instructions, medications, behavior, doors and gates, leash safety, and anything else you want handled a particular way. I’m respectful of your home and your pet’s boundaries, and I won’t force interaction with a nervous or shy animal. I’m also happy to send photos and updates during visits so you know how things are going.

She was willing to take our doggy Watson into her home on the shortest notice and she did an excellent job. Mitchell sent photos every day and made my shy, nervous dog feel comfortable. He stayed 4 nights with her and came home happy and ready for a nap. :) I would absolutely hire her again!”
About: I am a dog-lover and have grown up around dogs my whole life! Growing up, my family has had various dog breeds: a Great Pyrenees, a Bernese Mountain Dog, Dachshunds, a Golden Retriever, and even a Lab/Spaniel/Retriever mix. For the past 10 years, I have been a frequent overnight pet-sitter for my parent's dogs. I am also a walker in my personal life and so I love adding dogs to the mix whenever loved ones go out of town! Additionally, I have a house with a fenced yard if you need a play for your pup to play. I know that dogs become a part of your family and so it takes a lot to trust someone with them, I assure you that your dog will be in caring and capable hands with me! I'm currently working from home and so I have a lot of availability to give your pet the attention they need! I also frequently take walks and have discovered quiet walking trails for the more anxious dogs. I do not have any pets or children of my own which makes my house an environment that is suitable to the various needs of different animals! I also have a fenced yard. My most prominent experience previously was with staying overnight in a home and so I also know what it looks like to honor the house rules for the dog and respect the home where I'm staying.

About: I’ve dog sat for family friends since the age of 18. Pet boarding, sitting, walking, and caring for them just like my own dogs! I’ve got 2 friendly and small dogs of my own! I work part time while in school, so I’m currently free on weekends, but will have more availability opening up in mid May through the summer months! I care for them just like my own! I have ample beds and toys and the dogs have a secluded space in my living room! I’m also able to crate or separate from my own dogs if needed.
