“Where do I start? Sara went far above and beyond on multiple levels! I needed very last-minute boarding care over the holidays for my big, rambunctious Doberman mix and amazingly, Sara was available. Our meet and greet made me feel so confident about leaving my guy with her, and her frequent updates and photos throughout my trip just added to my confidence that he was in great hands with her. Additionally, Sara was very proactive and communicative when my pup had an off day - she gave me a thorough explanation of his symptoms and was very deferential to how I wanted to proceed. Thankfully it ended up being a non-issue, but I really appreciated her attentiveness. Lastly, when my return travel plans went comically awry, Sara didn’t bat an eye at keeping my guy for a whole extra day. Her flexibility and positivity made my bad travel day so much lighter. About: I have always had a pet dog throughout my life, so being around dogs feels natural to me. Taking care of them has been part of my daily routine, from feeding and walking them to making sure they are happy and healthy. Over time, I’ve learned how to understand their behavior and needs, which has helped me build a strong connection with them. Dogs have always been an important part of my life, and I enjoy spending time with them and caring for them. I work from home and love the challenge of some dogs. I wake up at 5 and feed my own dog and do some work. After I usually take him out for walks through the day. I walk him about 2 miles and can also walk your own dog, just tell me and I can do it. I can also follow any strict dietary restrictions if your dogs requires it for food. After around 3 I am free and spend time with my dogs all day after and chill with him beside me. But, if your dogs requires sheds a lot, I can’t promise he will be sleeping with me or be laying on the couch, I have a specialized ginormous dog bed for he/she. I live in El Dorado Hills, so it is very hilly in some areas, including my home. I have a big dog kennel outside that is surrounded by a fence, while I have a large dog cage inside my house that can also be used. I also have a area for the dogs to run and play in my backyard.

About: We love all animals and have been with Rover since 2015. We have two female miniature dachshunds, Daisy Mae and Poppy who are both very playful and friendly.. My husband and I have always felt a very strong connection with all animals. We couldn't imagine our life without them. They bring such unconditional love and companionship every day! We enjoy walking them every day and just hanging outside with them. Your fur babies will be given lots of affection and exercise and will go home happy. :) We are both home all day to watch over your pup.. We have a fenced garden area where the dogs love to run around in or they can just hang out and be mellow on our back deck. We also have a year round creek that runs through the back of our house where the dogs love playing in the water. Lots of chew toys, balls, treats and beds are included too! Your pup will sleep inside with us either on a bed, the floor, or if they are kennel trained, we can provide those as well. My husband and I work as a team and are both recently retired. About: I have been a full-time puppy whelper for the past 8 years and come highly recommended with lots of references. I welcome all different breeds. I am always home. While I do have to pick up and drop off my children for their various sports and activities, it’s just a five minute drive away.I am always available. Plus, I’m attending school online from the comfort of my home. I live on 1 1/2 acres with a mini horse, two small goats that like to visit the neighbors and two potbelly pigs. Additionally I have two older French bulldogs who are house trained and very friendly, as well as two cane corsos who get along well with all animals including pony,goats, and pigs- they’re all pals! All of my animals are well-behaved , and I’ve often been told I should’ve been a vet or a dog trainer because of my love for animals. I have two separate backyards-one for the smaller dogs and one for the bigger ones. However I’m accustomed to rotating them due to my experience as a whelper. I know how to manage introducing new dogs and keeping them separate if needed.My dogs have access to indoors and outdoors, and they sleep in the house at night. I’ve set up set up my garage to be cozy and welcoming for dogs to stay in at night.

About: I have loved animals my whole life and have had many pets; dogs, cats, horses, birds, rabbits, sheep and more. I thoroughly enjoy being with animals, loving and caring for them. Some of my first jobs were at animal clinics, where I learned a lot about caring for animals. I was in FFA as a youth, where I raised and showed sheep, and where I also learned a lot. Her house is on a large property that's fully enclosed and in a beautiful gated community in the hills. Whether you have a big dog that loves to run around and interact with other friendly animals or a small dog that prefers to spend time inside close to people, Michelle's house is an awesome place for pets! My dog has major separation anxiety, but instead of stressing out like he normally does when he knows I'm leaving him, Oakley immediately settled in and started exploring the property with one of her dogs right after we got there! I could tell from Michelle's updates and photos that Oakley was really enjoying his time there and felt comfortable he would be well taken care of if he needed to stay even longer in the future. The location of her house turned out to be really convenient and close to where I was going, but even if I'm further away the next time I'm in town and need a sitter, I know that Michelle will be our first choice for sure!”

I thoroughly enjoy walks, runs, hikes, and playing with him. I am a big dog person! I currently work part time and am home most of the time. I’m usually home a lot as most of my work can be done from home. The flexibility is very nice and works perfectly with having dogs in our home! We currently have our own dog and so caring for yours will fit naturally into the flow we already have going! I have a fenced yard, where my pup and yours can play as much as they want! We have trails and parks near by for walks and runs, if you’d like for your pup to have exercise in those ways as well.
About: I have always had dogs/animals. We have 5 dogs of our own. We also foster with a local rescue. We specialize in the squish face breeds. We completely understand climate control. We love to exercise outside and go out often to romp. I am currently working remote part of the time (office days are Tues/Thurs). We typically always have someone home and the dogs are likely never alone for more than a 2-3 hour period. Our dogs are very friendly and love to play! We do not have a fenced yard, so our preference would be dogs that are not a flight risk! We can use a flexi leash for potty breaks but that would limit outside play for our guests. About: We have had dogs in our home our entire life. They are always a family member and treated with the best of love and care. I come from a family of breeders and a hunting and show dogs. Our seniors are loved and cared for savoring every last day. We have a ranch with plenty of room for your fur baby to run and explore as well as a huge dog run. We offer different places to keep them safe if running off leash is not the best for your baby. I am a self-employed realtor, who works from home. My husband is a rancher and contractor so one of us is typically home there are times of course when we leave but everybody is locked up safe and sound and they are also welcome to take the car ride with us should we need to run some errands. if it’s important that nobody ever leaves your baby, we can make that accommodation as well. We have a 12 x 24 kennel with multiple dog houses we have kennels of different sizes. We also have a barn with 12 x 12 stalls. We have a fenced in deck that is 30 x 50 so there are many opportunities for your baby to be outside in the fresh air And still be safe. If your dog is an inside dog, we will keep him inside with us and he will be warm and cozy at bedtime.

About: After having a senior dog who couldn't be by himself for even 10 minutes, I understand how hard it can be when you can't make any plans, or take a vacation, because you are worried about your dog. I just want to help people who are in the same situation I was.. I am available nights, and weekends and holidays. Basically, all those times it is most difficult to find anyone to petsit-I can be there. For one afternoon or two weeks, whatever you need.. I am just trying to help pet parents out. I have always been the person who family, friends and neighbors call when they need someone to watch their pets. I just started doing this professionally, but already have glowing recommendations from everyone I have worked for. I understand how important it is for your pet to be comfortable and have found the best way to do this, is to come prior to the petsitting job to do a meet and greet with your pet so they know me, when I show up to watch them. About: I have had animals since I was a young girl and was always responsible for caring for them in any way the family needed. I helped watch friends animals as well. I currently have animals of my own that I adore as much as my adult children :). They bring love and light into our home. I am a part time dental hygienist as well as an undergraduate student studying Criminal Justice/ Forensics with plenty of flexibility. I am home full time doing school so my availability is open. I only pick up dental hygiene shifts as needed as I have been in the dental field 32 years. We have a a nice chunk of land with a fence and one dog to play with your furbaby her name is Shadow and she is so sweet and old, but still has energy for fun. We have a pond to wade in as well which is Shadows favorite thing to do. We are always keeping an eye on all of our animals and make sure they are safe and always have what they need. We also have 4 indoor kitties but they usually hide when company is around.

About: I have been a volunteer trainer with the Sierra At Tahoe Avalanche Dogs since I was about 10. My father runs the dog program so I grew up being taught how to train, take care of, and watch over dogs since I was a toddler. At the ski mountain I helped drill the dogs to find subjects in the snow, played, walked, fed, took to the bathroom, and watched over the dogs ages ranging from puppies to senior dogs. My family also has three dogs and three cats all of I have assisted in training, and most of the time look after on my own. I recently left my job so I am open full time with my schedule to take part in pet care. On some days I do need to watch my own animals since my parents work full time, but even then I am always available for even just a check in if needed! I make sure my pets have a set in feeding time as well as they have a signal for bathroom breaks, even if they do not show me they need to go I will periodically let them outside or take them on a walk. Besides just food and bathroom I love to work on skills, tricks, and just playing with the dogs throughout the day as to make sure they are enriched and happy. These qualities go for all animals I may watch too! I pride myself in being able to recognize their behavior so I can adapt for them what they need or want!

About: I have an immense love for animals of all shapes and sizes. Ive had pets my whole life. From cats to dogs to rats and to my current animals now. “Where do I start? Sara went far above and beyond on multiple levels! I needed very last-minute boarding care over the holidays for my big, rambunctious Doberman mix and amazingly, Sara was available. Our meet and greet made me feel so confident about leaving my guy with her, and her frequent updates and photos throughout my trip just added to my confidence that he was in great hands with her. Additionally, Sara was very proactive and communicative when my pup had an off day - she gave me a thorough explanation of his symptoms and was very deferential to how I wanted to proceed. Lastly, when my return travel plans went comically awry, Sara didn’t bat an eye at keeping my guy for a whole extra day. Her flexibility and positivity made my bad travel day so much lighter. About: I have always had a pet dog throughout my life, so being around dogs feels natural to me. Taking care of them has been part of my daily routine, from feeding and walking them to making sure they are happy and healthy. Over time, I’ve learned how to understand their behavior and needs, which has helped me build a strong connection with them. Dogs have always been an important part of my life, and I enjoy spending time with them and caring for them. I work from home and love the challenge of some dogs. I wake up at 5 and feed my own dog and do some work. After I usually take him out for walks through the day. I walk him about 2 miles and can also walk your own dog, just tell me and I can do it. I can also follow any strict dietary restrictions if your dogs requires it for food. After around 3 I am free and spend time with my dogs all day after and chill with him beside me. But, if your dogs requires sheds a lot, I can’t promise he will be sleeping with me or be laying on the couch, I have a specialized ginormous dog bed for he/she. I live in El Dorado Hills, so it is very hilly in some areas, including my home. I have a big dog kennel outside that is surrounded by a fence, while I have a large dog cage inside my house that can also be used. I also have a area for the dogs to run and play in my backyard.
