She walks in like it’s her place and has made friends with the resident big dog. Lauren and Ben are kind and send pics daily so I know for sure my little one is loved and part of their family when I need to travel for work. I’ve also seen a big positive change in confidence for Ruby.”
“Brandie was easy to work with and kept us well informed with lots of pictures and videos. Our 1.5 yr old weim can be a handful, but was relaxed and happy during her stay with Brandie. Our dog was welcomed in as one of the family, such a different experience than the big boarding facilities we have tried previously. When we came to pick her up, our dog greeted us and then ran back to say goodbye to Brandie. We would definitely send our dog to Brandie again.”
About: Hello animal lovers - I have benefitted from Rover for dog sitting and realize it's something I'd love to do myself. My husband (a social worker) and I are both dog lovers and have a dog (a Frenchie) as well. I work from home (I run a marketing agency I started 12 year ago) and alas much of typical day I'm on zoom, and treasure the breaks for walking and loving on the dogs. While new to Rover, if been helping out friends and neighbors with dog care and logistics and sharing the love for years I'm reliable, work from home, and would love to know how you could use some help. Currently offering to sit or board one dog at a time or arrange prescheduled walks. I'll treat them like family. Comfortable with dogs of many sizes and personalities, and happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind. Looking forward to meeting your furry friend! Our dog Fiona, a frenchie, plays well with others and has some unique needs including no rough play + daily medicine needs so we're familiar with special rules and medical needs. We do a morning walk, a mid day walk, an "after work" walk and a before bed walk. I work from home so am genrrally around all day. While flexible, I imagine at least initially the primary offering will be to host and care for your dog at our place but am open to house sitting if there's a great fit, I work from home. I can host your dog weekdays and weekends but know on weekends we may have friends (and sometimes friends with dogs) stop by. We have a fenced in deck otherwise for excercise we take leashed walks. About: I’ve had cats my entire life and understand them well. My sweet kitty just passed away at 20 years old and I’d love to help take care of yours. I frequently travel for work for weeks on end, but when I am home and able to cat-sit, my schedule can be completely flexible. Day / night. Since I only offer cat-sitting, I doubt that this section about my own house will matter much. Cats don’t like to be relocated for temporary purposes.

About: Walks through Armstrong Redwoods are a favorite activity. I have a large yard and a dog friendly house. I have a couple of years experience working in a veterinary clinic giving me experience medicating animals, including giving injections. I have a pool for dogs who love to swim! I was a volunteer and puppy raiser for Canine Companions for Independence back in the mid to late 1980's, and a Puppy Petter for Assistance Dog Institute in the early 2000's. I've also kept busy with boarding in my home for friends and acquaintances. I love dogs!! I have Sundays and Mondays off from my full time job, but I can fit in a nice walk after 4 pm most other days. When I have someone's dog, they get my full attention; we play, exercise, snuggle. About: I've grown up taking care of both cats and dogs. I love animals and look forward to helping you care your your precious pets. In the past I have worked as a pet and house sitter for a couple families. I always enjoy any time spent with animals. I have flexible schedule making me available to care for your fur babies! I live in Guerneville, but frequently go to Sebastopol throughout the week. So mainly looking to work for ones in these areas. But open to adventuring in to further surrounding areas if its a good fit for us both! Currently I am not able to board pets in my home because I am renting. About: I love all animals, especially dogs. I'm a very active person so walking a lot is no issue for me. I enjoy hiking with dogs. I’ve worked in many dog shelters taking care of dogs of all different ages. I have also been a dog walker/sitter with rover and wag for about 6 years now. With me your puppers are in good hands :) I am working on a farm from 8-4 M-Th so weekends are more ideal. I like to take pups out first thing in the morning for a little stroll and on weekends I usually spend more time relaxing at home. I’m always checking in on them and giving them love whether that looks like playing with them or giving them a cuddle. I also check the water bowl multiple times a day to make sure they are hydrated. I try to have regular feeding times as well.

About: I began my seriously joyous devotion to animals at the age of 11, as an SF ZOO volunteer in the barnyard, where I learned to care for a variety of animals, from miniature horses to coyotes to parrots, and more. About: Hey, I’m Chappy! Christopher is my legal name… I specialize in walking / caring for large dogs and working breeds, but am happy to work with all breeds and sizes. I have worked with high-energy, reactive, less than sociable dogs too, giving them the physical and metal fulfillment they need. I personally have two larger dogs, Count (German Shepherd Husky mix, 110lbs) and Bentley (German Shepherd Dutch Shepherd mix, 80lbs). I’ve also worked with a range of breeds from pugs to golden retrievers to Alsatian shepherds to American bull dogs. I’m a freelance, work from home marketer, so I’m pretty much always at home and available to take care of dogs, or am able to come to you and take your pup out. We live on roughly 8 acres in Sonoma County, so there is plenty of room at our home for dogs to run and explore. I have two friendly German Shepherd mix dogs that love having friends over. We also have a secure deck that the dogs loving sunbathing on and watching the world go by. I can crate your dog, if need be (we have a crate / room for crates), along with the ability to keep dogs separate if need be. Should your dog use a e-collar of any sort, I’m trained in properly using them, as both of my dogs are trained to them. If your dog loves to hike, we regularly go for hikes on the trails around Sonoma County, or to Dillon Beach to run around off leash.
