About: Hi there! I’m Barr, a wife and mother with a lifelong love for animals. We have a sweet 15-year-old Jack Russell named Indie, and I honestly can’t remember a time in my life when I didn’t have a pet. Animals have always been a huge part of our family, and our compassion for them is one of the reasons we chose a vegan lifestyle. I also worked as a veterinary assistant for two years, where I gained hands-on experience caring for pets and supporting their health and well-being. As a mom, I’m now looking to earn a little extra income while doing something that truly matters to me—spending time with and caring for animals. About: I've had cats since I was 5. My grandparents also has a farm so I have lots of experience with farm cats and feral cats. I've also worked for 10+ years with a local rescue, raising kittens only days or weeks old until they are old enough to be fixed and adopted - feeding them milk on a regular schedule and then weaning them onto wet food, then dry food, also teaching them how to be a cat by interacting with my cats. During the course of my volunteering I have also been taught various first aid treatments as well as how to administer medications and injections.

I have taken care of many dogs for friends, family, and clients. Your pup will have a wonderful time staying at our farm on 1 fenced-off acre with another very friendly dog, Teddy Bear Tom. We have a large sturdy kennel in the garage upon the client's request. We prefer to have your fur baby with either myself, my husband, or my teenage daughter. Your fur baby will never be left alone except when I take my potty break or prepare a meal. I supervise and actively play with the fur babies that I am taking care of. We have nap time together as well. Fur babies can play as much as they want outside as weather permits. They can snuggle inside the house if that's what they want to do. I am very in tune with and attentive to the needs and emotions of animals. Reading facial expressions and animal body language is a skill I have acquired. :) I have a tall fenced backyard as well as a large fenced dog run. I have two friendly dogs that your fur baby can play with. Your fur baby will have separate sleeping quarters (from my dogs) which have A/C, heat, a big bed, water bowls, and a sound machine. Potty Breaks and Outdoor time are as often as you prefer and as much as the weather permits. If your doggo is more comfortable relaxing inside, that's okay too!

We have a sweet 15-year-old Jack Russell named Indie, and I honestly can’t remember a time in my life when I didn’t have a pet. Animals have always been a huge part of our family, and our compassion for them is one of the reasons we chose a vegan lifestyle. I also worked as a veterinary assistant for two years, where I gained hands-on experience caring for pets and supporting their health and well-being. As a mom, I’m now looking to earn a little extra income while doing something that truly matters to me—spending time with and caring for animals.
