I work part time at home as an artist, so I have plenty of time to take care of pets here and give them my undivided attention. I own a Siamese cat at home, she will give your pet a new buddy to play with. I have a backdoor screen, can have it open so pets can go freely to the back deck to be in nature. I live amidst trees in the forest, so I can take a walk to my backyard and explore the forest. I have a 1000sq house, your pet will have enough space to roam around and play.

Your dog will be loved and well taken care of not only by me but my whole family. I have 2 goldendoodles that I got as puppies and potty trained them as well as taught them basic commands. I do not allow pets outside, even my fenced yard, without me outside with them. We never have visitors so an opened gate will never be a problem, because our gates are always shut. Your animals will be loved as if it were one of our own. If an overnight stay and they are used to sleeping with a human, myself or my child will be more than happy to comfort them throughout the night. They will be so spoiled, loved, and extremely well taken care of. I work less than part-time from home. I am always available and can fit in your pets needs at any time. Your pet will fit right into my daily life. I have a fenced in yard, and your animal will not be allowed outside at any time alone, I will always be with them for potty time. I have 2 goldendoodles of my own, who are extremetly shy and skittish of people, but love other dogs. I can crate your animal if you prefer, but they are also free to roam around and be loved on. If your pets prefer not to be around other pets, I can block off part of my home so my dogs are separated from yours.

“We have a long history of pet sitters and house sitters, both in and out of the Rover family. We've been happy with almost all of them. But until Katherine, we've never had that "ahh we found the perfect one" look pass between my husband and myself. You are inviting a person to enter your most private space (she stays at our home), and giving them your precious family member who can't talk to us to tell us how things are going. It's a nerve-racking thing, at least for me. There are many reviews of Katherine, so I won't go into the same details. I'm glad I hadn't read all of them, because I was surprised this last time with the gifts she left--same as the others described. I'll just say she has a competence about her combined with a huge heart and a lot of patience. Our rescue dog is very shy, still traumatized from early abuse, and doesn't make it easy for anyone to care for her besides us. Katherine is calm and knowledgeable. She acts like she has nothing better to do all day than wait for our dog to approach her on her own time. If you are like me, and you can't enjoy your trip if you are the least bit worried about your baby back home, call Katherine. About: We are both huge animal lovers. Both having animals in our care at a very young age. These animals included dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, lizards, horses, cattle, lambs, and goats. I have years of experience providing pet sitting and dog walking, comfortable with dogs of all sizes! We reside in the beautiful Lake Arrowhead so we can take your pup for a dip in the water or for a scenic hike! I have a huge fenced yard your fur baby would love to explore. About: I am comfortable around most animals and have spent most of my life with all kinds of pets. In the past I have volunteered at Animal Haven Shelter in NYC and have volunteered at Humane Society in Delray Beach, FL. Most recently, in my volunteer position at animal haven I was responsible for walking dogs of all ages and sizes as well as feeding and socializing them. I have done homestays for friends as well as family and clients here on Rover. I’m used to being in new environments frequently and will adapt to whatever routine you have set for your fur babies. I have 2 portions to my property . One side is fenced on a hillside with a small astro-turfed area for potty breaks. The other side is open with a small water fall and full Astro turf. This gives dogs lots of time outside. I will also keep your dog in the kitchen, where I spend the majority of my time cooking and teaching my daughter kindergarten + computer work at the kitchen table. Your pup will also enjoy the walks around the neighborhood, which includes a lot of trees and nature.

My dog is kennel trained, so he can be separated from any other dogs I’m sitting if the dog I am sitting is not socialized. However, my dog is socialized and will be happy to have a playmate. I can take your pet out as often as you require and I can transport dogs to the dog park if that is okay. I also have extra feeding and water bowls, as well as toys and treats for any dog I am sitting. I also have a fenced yard.

About: I enjoy athletic dogs who listen and are not destructive. With me they get a freedom during exercise. They love the ability to run full speed. I am self employed and normally have freedom with my time. This allows for great care and running of the dogs who need daily exercise. I am available for short term boarding and wilderness exercise.
