His whole life he’s been terrified of the water but he felt so comfortable that he even jumped in the pond a few times for a swim! Linda sent us pictures and kept us updated the whole time we were gone, it really helped us relax a little more and felt so good to know he was in such great hands! We also really appreciate that they do not take on too many dogs at one time so we know that Bear is getting the attention he needs and likes. About: I have cared for and loved animals since I was a little girl. I was raised in a house with dogs of all types and have continued to have them in my life. I have two rescues, a 6-lb sweet female chihuahua and a 30-lb shy male terrier mix, that love to be around other dogs but who also are submissive to and respect other dogs’ needs for their own space. Having been a zookeeper and vet tech, I have worked on training various critters, as well as cared for elderly animals that need special attention or medications. I work from home with my husband full time and we are always ready for fur baby snuggles on our couch and bed. We also live near a canal and trails, so dog walks are very frequent in our home. Because we live farther away, we are also willing to come do pickups to keep you from having to drive to us, but we understand completely wanting to see where your pups are staying. I work from home nearly full time except Tuesdays, but my husband is home full time everyday. I am an early riser and can do early walks/pickup/potty breaks. As we are working on house projects due to this being a new and first home purchase, we are gone a ton on the weekends too. If I am staying at your home, I can arrange to be there constantly because my husband is home to care for my pups. I don’t have a fenced yard, but live very close to a dog park that is fenced. I also have a canal trail right off my driveway and we walk our two dogs on it all the time. My two babies are extremely sweet and friendly with other dogs. I am an extremely tidy and organized person, so whether your pup stays with me or I come to your home, I can guarantee I will always leave things as good or better than I found them. Also, if you have any last-minute travel issues, I can almost always adapt to host longer to make sure you don’t have to stress about what will happen to your pup.

About: I don't have much professional experience walking dogs. I lived across from a cute pot dog mix for 8 years. When her own went on trips he would have me look after Sophia. This included walking her, feeding her. Cuddling with her. I would also take her on walks to the store or with her owner would take her to the pond or lakes. I have kids who I'm wanting to teach responsibilities to, so when possible I would have them help on the walks or feedings. I'm mostly a stay at home mom. I do house cleanings a few times a week for a few hours in the morning. I also have kids to take to and from school and activities but my availability is still pretty open. I used to volunteer for Mollys Militia which was animal foster/adoption center. “Five stars, no hesitation. Luz came out to the curb to meet us at drop-off, which was such a thoughtful touch. There’s always that awkward moment as a first-time visitor where you’re not sure whether to knock or ring the doorbell, and she just took that off the table entirely. She followed all my care instructions carefully and, most impressively, rolled with a last-minute curveball: our younger dog ended up needing his neuter surgery earlier than expected, so she had to take on a whole set of post-op instructions with very little notice. She handled it without missing a beat. Her own dog was an absolute gem, calm, gentle, not a barker. That matters more than it might sound. I always worry about my dogs picking up bad habits from an anxious or reactive dog, and that was just never a concern here. Both of my dogs are Chihuahua mix puppies, which is exactly as much energy as it sounds like. She had nothing but kind things to say about them at pick-up, which honestly I appreciated, because I can barely say that about them on a high-energy day. Most telling: they were asleep within 60 seconds of getting in the car. That’s always my gold standard for a good stay. She was also wonderfully communicative throughout, sending pictures and videos regularly. I don’t always need that from a sitter, but with someone new, it means everything to know they’re being attentive. Luz absolutely was. I’ve used a number of sitters in the Roseville and Rocklin area over the years and honestly never walked away from a drop-off feeling truly at ease. This was the first time. I felt confident the whole time that my dogs were in the best possible hands. Highly recommend, especially if you have puppies or dogs with special needs.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and pets since as long as I can remember, whether that be my own or my friends and family! I personally have a dog of 14, with a few health issues (including joint issues and blindnesss) so I’m very comfortable and understands with other dogs with those issues, and how to handle and take care of them well! With also having dogs my whole life I have experience some experience puppies, and while I’m not trained myself, I do remember some tips and tricks for starting their training! I’m currently only in school for a week days a week, so I have plenty of time to drop in and play with your dogs, or take them in a long walk to tire them out ! I have sat dogs with needs like kennels, and special food times and needs, so I’m understanding with their routines and how they spend time when I’m not with them.

About: I've been taking care of animals for a little over 5 years including my own animals. I have 1 dog and 1 Guinea pig. I used to volunteer for Mollys Militia which was animal foster/adoption center. During my volunteer hours I would make sure the dogs were fed and had water and were always in good condition living their best life. I am currently looking for a at home job to help with the convenience of staying home with my dog and caring for every other animal that would come into my care. I have a fenced yard that my dog loves to run around in. My dog is friendly towards other dogs. He is also neutered and well trained.
About: Hi! I’m Kylie, a dog-mom of 2. I’ve always had dogs and cats in the family, and now I have my own two to call my own! I have two large breed dogs with tons of energy ~ we’re big hikers, swimmers, and snow-goers in the winter! I walk and run my dogs daily. About: My experience growing up with dogs, cats, and various farm animals helped me develop the knowledge and skills required to take care of a wide range of animals. I've helped raise (and train) puppies and kittens as well seen to their needs as elderly pets. About: I grew up in a home full of 5+ dogs at a single time! I have 8 years of experience in both the child care and pet sitting fields so I am extremely patient. For years I have used Rover myself to receive pet care for my own dog, so I understand the trust you will be putting in me. I will treat your fur-baby as one of my own while you are gone! I’m currently home full-time with my 3 year old son and our 9 year old dog! I have experience distributing medication and will follow your instructions meticulously! We have a home with a backyard for the dogs to play in! Brutus has a lot of toys and actually enjoys sharing them! Potty breaks can be every 0-2 or 2-4 hours, depending on what your puppy needs. Brutus is extremely friendly with different types of dogs but I can also separate them if that is what you request! Since I have a three year old son, I do require meet and greets before I pet sit any new dogs! I also require the dog to be gentle and have no prior aggression towards children. I only watch one dog, or multiple dogs from one home, at a time. I believe that trusting someone to watch your fur babies while you’re gone can be tough so I want to ensure that they have my full attention, love, and care!
About: I don't have much professional experience walking dogs. I lived across from a cute pot dog mix for 8 years. When her own went on trips he would have me look after Sophia. This included walking her, feeding her. Cuddling with her. I would also take her on walks to the store or with her owner would take her to the pond or lakes. I have kids who I'm wanting to teach responsibilities to, so when possible I would have them help on the walks or feedings. I'm mostly a stay at home mom. I do house cleanings a few times a week for a few hours in the morning. I also have kids to take to and from school and activities but my availability is still pretty open. His whole life he’s been terrified of the water but he felt so comfortable that he even jumped in the pond a few times for a swim! About: I have worked at a doggy day care that serviced over a 100 dogs and 30 cats at a time. As a kennel tech, I took care of the animals. I played with them, gave them enrichment, training, ect. I have 1 year experience selling pet food. I learned a lot about dog and cat diets and food sources. Currently i'm available 24/7. This is what I do full time. So the animal will have 24/7 attention. About: I have cared for and loved animals since I was a little girl. I was raised in a house with dogs of all types and have continued to have them in my life. I have two rescues, a 6-lb sweet female chihuahua and a 30-lb shy male terrier mix, that love to be around other dogs but who also are submissive to and respect other dogs’ needs for their own space. Having been a zookeeper and vet tech, I have worked on training various critters, as well as cared for elderly animals that need special attention or medications. I work from home with my husband full time and we are always ready for fur baby snuggles on our couch and bed. We also live near a canal and trails, so dog walks are very frequent in our home. Because we live farther away, we are also willing to come do pickups to keep you from having to drive to us, but we understand completely wanting to see where your pups are staying. I work from home nearly full time except Tuesdays, but my husband is home full time everyday. I am an early riser and can do early walks/pickup/potty breaks. As we are working on house projects due to this being a new and first home purchase, we are gone a ton on the weekends too. If I am staying at your home, I can arrange to be there constantly because my husband is home to care for my pups. I don’t have a fenced yard, but live very close to a dog park that is fenced. I also have a canal trail right off my driveway and we walk our two dogs on it all the time. My two babies are extremely sweet and friendly with other dogs. I am an extremely tidy and organized person, so whether your pup stays with me or I come to your home, I can guarantee I will always leave things as good or better than I found them. Also, if you have any last-minute travel issues, I can almost always adapt to host longer to make sure you don’t have to stress about what will happen to your pup.

She took lots of pictures (different subject but her pictures were amazing), kept me updated throughout the day and let me know when my dogs were tucked in for the night. My city dogs got to meet horses, goats, and pigs and I think they had a great time, because they slept for so long when they got home. Im looking forward to their next summer camp with Samantha!”
