“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I dropped off my dog, Sugar, with Cody, and let me explain what “Sugar” is dealing with. Sugar is a tiny white cockapoo whose greatest natural predator is…existing. She’ll hear a leaf land three houses away and immediately file an insurance claim. She has been startled by her own reflection, a pillow, and once spent five minutes suspicious of a decorative pumpkin. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So naturally, I was thinking, “There’s no way this dog survives being around another dog and a cat.” Wrong. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cody has this supernatural calm that apparently extends to terrified fluff balls. His dog was basically like, “Hey, you wanna hang out?” Sugar answered in her native language, which is silent panic. His dog didn’t care. She just kept being cool until Sugar realized nobody was trying to assassinate her. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Then there’s the cat. Most cats look at a nervous little dog like they’re planning a documentary called How Easy Would It Be? Cody’s cat was just…chill. At one point I think the cat judged me more than it judged Sugar. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ By the end of the stay, Sugar was wandering around like she paid the mortgage. She actually looked relaxed. Relaxed! This is a dog who’s emotionally overwhelmed by a ceiling fan. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I don’t know what Cody does. Maybe he whispers affirmations. Maybe he has Disney-princess powers. Maybe his dog is running some kind of emotional support operation and the cat is HR. Whatever it is, it works. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I picked Sugar up happy, safe, exhausted from actually having fun instead of rehearsing imaginary disasters. Cody sent updates, took amazing care of her, and somehow convinced the canine equivalent of an anxious Victorian ghost that life isn’t one long emergency. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If your dog is confident, Cody will probably make them happier. If your dog is like Sugar and thinks gravity is a personal attack, Cody is basically a miracle worker. Ten out of ten. Would absolutely trust him again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sugar probably still doesn’t trust the vacuum, but that’s between her and her therapist. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ~Christine and David”

About: I have experience with many different types of animals. I have cats, dogs, a snake, a lizard, snails, and fish. I also lived on a farm and have experience with farm animals. I am good at training dogs and have experience with animal's medication management. My dog has an anxiety disorder, and one of my cats had an intense medical scare which required medication three times a day. Work to provide the best for all my animals, and I'll work to provide the best for yours as well. I currently work part-time during the days. There is never a time where my house is unsupervised for more than a few hours at a time to go out and eat or run errands. With my dogs, I typically crate them when I leave to prevent them from causing problems like digging in the trash, but that is up to your discretion for your animal. I live in a house in a nice, quiet neighborhood. I have a fenced in yard that my two dogs frequently run around in. I have a small inflatable pool for the animals to play in during the heat. I will take care to attend to each animal's individualized needs, so if your dogs needs to be crated at certain times or has specific triggers please let me know.

About: I have loved animals since I was small, volunteered at animal rescues since I was a child, and have my own menagerie of furry critters. I worked at a horse stable for over 7 years and owned a horse so also am knowledgeable about horses, donkeys, goats, chickens in addition to cat and dogs. I have trained all my dogs for over 15 years so understand how to kindly guide dogs. I have given medicine in all forms and am well versed in pet home first aid. I am currently working full time but have a flexible schedule so can usually accommodate any time of day with some notice. I walk my own dogs twice a day and live in an area with 5 parks. I take my dogs to the park frequently too so can easily add another dog to the mix. I have a fenced yard and a large pet filled home. My yard has a patio cover and a fan to keep everyone comfortable. For well behaved dogs who are cat savvy and non destructive, I can offer them to come inside and hang out on the couches. For other people’s homes, I love getting to know pets and will gladly try to make them as comfortable as possible. I’m happy to play with their favorite toys and give plenty of pets.

About: I have been a lifetime pet parent and now I’m sitting full time. About: I am a loving pet mom for 15 yrs and before and during that time I have helped many others with their animals. I can sit, check in and play with, and take for walks. I love animals and giving them attention because I know it is so important. I work from home so I love reasons to get out of the house and pet friends to keep me company at night. I work and stay 100% near the outskirts of Yuba City. My pets and their friends safety in #1 in my house and yard. I have a very large fenced in back yard and I have proofed it so not even very small dogs (like mine) can find a way out. I am an avid pet counter before doors are open and I double and sometimes triple check that the home is secured before I leave, we don’t want any babies to get out of their safe space.
About: I have loved animals my whole life. And taken care of my own and others for half of my life. I love any animal I care for like my own! I have pet sat for and walked all kinds of animals from cats, dogs, chicken, and even a squirrel. My boyfriend also has a tortoise that I help care for when I go over to his place. I will break up any possible alterations by removing the pet from that situation. I can also brush them for dematting their hair or just regular maintenance, and pet the animal to calm them down and insure they feel loved. My gole to insure both the pet and owner feels their baby is well cared for.

About: I’ve grown up around all size, animals, and dogs. I’ve also sat for many friends! Beings that I have grown up around all sizes and have experience with watching other people’s dogs I find that I would make a great fit to watch your pet! I am currently employed with a remote job and I am very flexible with my day to day. With that being said I can’t wait to hang with your puppy! About: I have experience with many different types of animals. I have cats, dogs, a snake, a lizard, snails, and fish. I also lived on a farm and have experience with farm animals. I am good at training dogs and have experience with animal's medication management. My dog has an anxiety disorder, and one of my cats had an intense medical scare which required medication three times a day. Work to provide the best for all my animals, and I'll work to provide the best for yours as well. I currently work part-time during the days. There is never a time where my house is unsupervised for more than a few hours at a time to go out and eat or run errands. With my dogs, I typically crate them when I leave to prevent them from causing problems like digging in the trash, but that is up to your discretion for your animal. I live in a house in a nice, quiet neighborhood. I have a fenced in yard that my two dogs frequently run around in. I have a small inflatable pool for the animals to play in during the heat. I will take care to attend to each animal's individualized needs, so if your dogs needs to be crated at certain times or has specific triggers please let me know.
