They have such a dog-friendly setup at their home and we were updated daily with pictures/comments on how our dog did on each day. “Boarding our two dogs with Susana was a wonderful experience. Our previous boarding/sitting situation changed and was no longer viable right as we were coming up on a 2 week trip overseas, so we were scrambling at the last minute to try to find someone we felt we could trust to watch them. Susana really went the extra mile to help us feel comfortable, including doing a video chat with us, showing us her home and backyard, and telling us about her experience as a sitter. While we were away, she sent us pictures a couple of times per day and kept us updated on what the pups were up to and how they were doing. When they weren't eating a lot (which happens with these two when they are staying somewhere new) she offered up some suggestions. I really appreciated that she checked in with us before just doing something, because Luke has a sensitive digestive system and there are lots of things that can upset his stomach which is no fun for him or the humans who are taking care of him. She also offered to give them a bath right before we returned - and I cannot even say how much we appreciated that! They always want to cuddle with us for like two solid days after they come home from a long trip, and having them clean and smelling good makes that such a wonderful experience. The dogs seemed like they had a great time and lots of fun, and they were well taken care of. We could really tell the family loved having them stay. They will definitely be staying with Susana again on a future trip 🙂”

About: I have 2 wonderful dogs myself so I understand wanting the best for your little friends. When it comes to caring for a pet it is very important that they be comfortable and have trust with the carer. I can provide a gentle touch like no other to make your furry friends feel loved and safe while you are away. For pet/house sitting it is best to meet before hand to make sure that the animal understands that you trust me so it's okay for them to trust me as well. I can provide as many walks and potty breaks and the dogs need to be comfortable. I do require 24 hours notice for all cancellations. Walks start at 30 minutes per walk at $10 a walk for non holidays
About: I love animals especially dogs. My friends trust me to watch their animals all the time I took in a cat for 3 months and a dog for 4 months until the owners were able to take them back. Willing to give pet baths and provide them with whatever is needed. If they need more than one walk a day or you just want me to check on them I’m more than willing to help in any way possible. Make your life easier and so you can be at ease when not home. Let’s face it our fur babies are more than pets they are our family and we want the best possible care like we do to our children. I’m available every weekend and during the week I am usually not busy after work I am able to care in the evening whenever may be needed. I will also crate if needed I am currently working per diem and have plenty of time on my hands to care for your fur baby. If by any chance I step away from home my son and husband are home all day. My husband works from home and is able to provide his full attention from home and my son is currently on independent study and dedicates his time to provide care for your fur baby. My home is fully gated front yard and back yard. Inside the home I have a pet gate so they are not able to get out of the front door. If your fur baby prefers to be inside that is completely ok and I do allow the fur babies to sleep on the furniture and on my bed.

About: I have over 10 years of experience with dog sitting, helping family and friends’ dogs. I have two dogs myself, a pug and a terrier mixed. They are both well behaved and trained, they love having friends over. I do work on the weekdays, but weekends are usually free with the dogs and kids at home. We love to take them for a long walk around the neighborhood. I have a fenced in backyard and front yard, my dogs love it. It will be great for many more friends to join during the weekends.

About: I’ve been a pet owner for 25 years. I use to be a zookeeper for 8 years and have worked with exotic animals for over 10. I have basic training skills and am good with large dogs. I am currently working part time and have most days free and evenings as well. Local neighborhood walks or pick ups would be ideal, but not necessary. I currently do not have any other pets. I do have a fenced in back yard and live in a house. Bathroom breaks can happen frequently when boarding.

About: I’ve retired from my role as Director of Student Housing at CSU, Bakersfield. I’m an active CrossFit coach with lots of flexible time - and I love dogs! About: I have been an animal/dog lover ever since I was a little girl. My first dog was our families at the age of 12. We all had to chip in on responsibilities and I learned from a very early age what it really means to take care of a dog/puppy. Especially with a demanding breed such as a German Shepard for your first pup! About: Hi! I’m a dog walker and sitter in the Santa Clarita area. I am currently a grad student with flexibility in my schedule to meet your pet's needs. :-) I first began petsitting in 2015 in Maryland. Since 2022, I worked for the petcare company, BabygotBark, where I cared for an array of sweet dogs, cats and birds. I have experience caring for young to elderly pets, that have varied temperaments and sizes. I send updates, either daily or occasionally, whichever is your preference. This includes photos and excerpts on how your pup is doing. I also ensure your home is taken care of while you're away-- treating it gently and continuing any routines in your absence like watering plants and so forth. I value ensuring that you can travel without any worries! If you're looking for someone patient, flexible and communicative, you've found your person. For my schedule, I also work as a design freelancer which ensures my schedule is often flexible with your dates of travel. My work comes with me wherever I go, so I am able to spend the majority of the day with your pet. During our meets and greet, I like to begin learning about their feeding, walking and grooming schedule so that they can continue the same routine upon your departure. I ask about their temperaments and any triggers to be mindful of. It's important to me that we continue the routine you've set for them-- to help them feel the most comfortable and confident during our time together. After our walks and feeding, I like to keep them company, any grooming care, and lots of love and cuddles.

“We left our Shiba Inu over a long weekend with Stacey. Our experience was wonderful. The house is great and Stacey’s whole family was so accommodating and loving to our dog. The back yard is large and all fenced in, and our dog was allowed both in and outside. Stacey spent lots of time playing fetch with our dog, taught her a new trick ( to lay down), and spent lots of time giving her pets and cuddles. This was the first time we have ever left our dog and we were nervous but Stacey sent us so many pictures and updates, and she really took care to make us feel at ease. We were able to have a nice vacation away and our dog was safe and loved while we were gone. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!!”
