“Lauren was the best dog sitter that Snoopy could have asked for and we were lucky she was available on such short notice and willing to look after him for a little over a week. Snoopy is almost 15 years old and was recently seen by his cardiologist who prescribed him anti-nausea meds, tapering steroids for his cough, and an appetite stimulant for when he doesn’t want to eat. Snoopy also has had increasing incontinence issues and wears diapers while indoors. I needed to find someone to look after Snoopy while I traveled since his usual caretaker was not available, so I found Lauren on Rover and explained his health issues expecting that he might’ve been too much of a hassle. But Lauren was not fazed by any of Snoopy’s needs and immediately agreed to look after him. I went away on my trip with no concerns about his safety and Lauren periodically checked in with me to give me updates on Snoopy and sent me pictures to show me how well he was doing. I will definitely be booking with Lauren for my next trip – I even learned a few things from her about how to alleviate his coughing! We are very pleased with her outstanding quality of care!!”

We were able to relax and not worry about our Junie at all, even knowing that she usually hates being away from us. About: I’ve cared for dogs for 33 years. Including but not limited to walking, feeding, hygiene care and administrating multiple medicines. Familiar with seizures as well. I have pets of my own so tending to animals is a routine to me and my children for a daily routine. We have cats and a small dog. Our cats and dog are mainly inside animals. About: I used to be the president of an animal rescue called Secondhand Animals. Between running an animal rescue and owning dogs, cats, fish, turtles and hamsters all my life, I am very knowledge about animals, what they can and cannot eat, sickness, medications and what to look out for. I am completely set up for X-Large to X-small dogs, and the animals in my home are very friendly to other animals. If not we have several other rooms in the house, where we can keep a guest by themselves in order to not stress the out so much. We also just had a dog run built. I am currently working full-time, but I do go home during lunches and am home in the evenings and weekends. I also have help, if it is needed. I have a fenced in yard, and a dog run with it's own fencing. Every evening I sit out on the deck, and try to engage with my animals. I say try because they do not know what fetch is, but they understand keep-away. We also enjoy taking car rides and walks.

About: I’ve been working with all kinds of dog breeds and temperaments for 5 years. Having been a training and using my knowledge on how to build solid foundation and structure to have trust, respect and love from the dogs that I have come to meet. I’m available the majority of the week. This gives me opportunity to have the dogs socialize in groups or on walks during the day. I can drop off or pick up at an owners home if I’m able to, but I’m also open to meet people half way if it makes things easier. Depending on the group I may have that day, I like to have them all in a play group. After I enjoy taking them on walks around the neighborhood or depending giving field trips to the park since I live close by. In the afternoon they get a nap time, usually if they get lunch I wait for them to rest before they revive their food. When nap time is over they return outside, back into play groups. Then the process repeats where they get another nap time, play time and then dinner if they receive one. I am also available to work around a specific routine or schedule may have for their own dog. My goal at the end of the day is for the dogs to receive good exercise, enriching social time and enjoy their rest period. A tired dog is a happy dog. Understanding that each dog is different and not all dogs have the same energy level, I try and give each dog the right amount attention they deserve to make them feel fulfilled and happy.

About: I have been surrounded by animals since I was little. I love animals probably more then people at times and I will love your fur babies as if they were my own and take great care of them! I am wide open with availability during the day in case your pets need someone with them for most of the day or if they are fine being alone for certain amount of time. From the moment I dropped my dogs off, it was clear how much thought, care, and energy he puts into making sure the dogs in his care are happy, safe, and having a great time. Jorge keeps the dogs active with trips to parks and dog parks, and he does a wonderful job managing their interactions with other dogs. His home is truly set up with dogs in mind—an amazing front yard with plenty of room to play, a secure fenced area, a pool, outdoor water, and lots of space for them to enjoy themselves. He even has an agenda for their day and pays close attention to feeding schedules, activity levels, and what each dog needs. What impressed me most were all the little things. When one of my dogs rolled in poo, Jorge washed her off—and then went above and beyond by giving my other dog some extra attention too, including conditioner and brushing her out. When they weren’t interested in their food after such an active day, he made sure they still got treats. He also sent me lots of pictures and videos throughout their stay, so I could see how much fun they were having. But the best review really came from my dogs themselves. On the second day, as soon as we pulled up, they jumped out and ran straight into Jorge’s house, excited to be back. That absolutely warmed my heart because there is no better reassurance than seeing your dogs genuinely happy to return. Jorge is incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful, and it’s obvious that he genuinely cares about the dogs he watches. I felt completely comfortable knowing mine were with him. My dogs are the happiest dogs in this planet. I walked my dogs daily plus they have a fenced yard to play in with all their relatives. I spoil my dogs with treats , kisses and lots of petting. I have walked, dog-sat, cared, for many dogs at one time. I love to be around dogs. If I could choose to be around dogs over people, I wouldn't hesitate to change it. In the future, I plan to open my own dog rehabilitation facility. I am work a full time job but available to tend to your pup anytime after 3pm m-th, after 12pm fri, and available all weekend. I have a fenced yard for dogs to roam. I never let my dogs out unless someone is outside with them. My dogs are my family and your dogs would not be treated any less.
About: I've grown up surrounded by animals, In my family it was my responsibility for the animals. I've taken care my own cats since elementary school. From cleaning the litter boxes, to daily feedings, as well as giving medication, I have a lot of experience with cats. I also took care of my family dogs and I have experience with daily walks, daily feedings, constantly letting dogs out into the backyard. About: I used to be the president of an animal rescue called Secondhand Animals. Between running an animal rescue and owning dogs, cats, fish, turtles and hamsters all my life, I am very knowledge about animals, what they can and cannot eat, sickness, medications and what to look out for. I am completely set up for X-Large to X-small dogs, and the animals in my home are very friendly to other animals. If not we have several other rooms in the house, where we can keep a guest by themselves in order to not stress the out so much. We also just had a dog run built. I am currently working full-time, but I do go home during lunches and am home in the evenings and weekends. I also have help, if it is needed. I have a fenced in yard, and a dog run with it's own fencing. Every evening I sit out on the deck, and try to engage with my animals. I say try because they do not know what fetch is, but they understand keep-away. We also enjoy taking car rides and walks.

About: I’ve been working with all kinds of dog breeds and temperaments for 5 years. Having been a training and using my knowledge on how to build solid foundation and structure to have trust, respect and love from the dogs that I have come to meet. I’m available the majority of the week. This gives me opportunity to have the dogs socialize in groups or on walks during the day. I can drop off or pick up at an owners home if I’m able to, but I’m also open to meet people half way if it makes things easier. Depending on the group I may have that day, I like to have them all in a play group. After I enjoy taking them on walks around the neighborhood or depending giving field trips to the park since I live close by. In the afternoon they get a nap time, usually if they get lunch I wait for them to rest before they revive their food. When nap time is over they return outside, back into play groups. Then the process repeats where they get another nap time, play time and then dinner if they receive one. I am also available to work around a specific routine or schedule may have for their own dog. My goal at the end of the day is for the dogs to receive good exercise, enriching social time and enjoy their rest period. A tired dog is a happy dog. Understanding that each dog is different and not all dogs have the same energy level, I try and give each dog the right amount attention they deserve to make them feel fulfilled and happy.

About: I have been involved with dogs since I was 12 years old when I started raising Guide Dogs for the blind. After that I worked at a kennel/training facility for 6 years, then became a dog groomer for 10 years as well as went back to more kennel work. I also breed and show border collies and train them for a variety of different events. To say my live revolves around my dogs is an understatement. I have been working with dogs for over 30 years in a variety of aspects. I work from home 8-4:30 with a lunch break. I am able to check on your pups before and after work and even on my lunch break depending on the proximity of our homes. In my home my dogs are indoors with me during the day. They go outside for 20 minutes every hour (supervised only). During they day they have their own dog room next to the living room where I work. Toys beds and crates fill their area. I treat your dog just like one of my own when they are with me. Our dogs sleep in our room with us as well. In your home its your rules and what you need out of a sitter. I would ideally like to take your dog outside to play or for a walk (if that is what they would like). Really it's about the dog and trying to keep a normal routine.

My family have always adored animals and there was never a time where we didn’t have pets throughout my childhood, whether they were cats, rats, guinea pigs or fish! I love to interact with all types of animals, dogs/wolves are my favorite tho...my pets are more than just pets, they are my FAMILY...I would also treat yours as family. I work, graveyard shifts so I'm home pretty much all day so my life would be surrounded by your pups lol. I work graveyard so I will have all day with your fur-babies and then just before it's time to put them to bed I will be leaving to work, but if I am called into work earlier than someone is ALWAYS home to help with boarding. I have a fenced yard that your pups can run and play in all day or night...as long as they are all dog friendly of course.
