About: I’ve taken care of both large and small breed dogs and currently have a cat of my own. I also grew up caring for reptiles, specifically snakes and lizards. I’m a full time student, but I am available on the weekdays in the morning and in the evenings! Some days I am able to spend afternoons as well. I currently have a domestic short hair who is both outdoor and indoor, but she usually just follows me wherever I go. She gets fed twice a week and her litter is cleaned continuously throughout the day. I also have a snake who I feed weekly where she receives a cleaned habitat and water when in her feeding cage. When I am able I try to handle her often to keep her familiar with human touch.

“Hugh and Mary were wonderful daycare sitters for my high energy corgi/aussie mix 7 month old puppy! I was riding my dirtbike in Big Bear, but couldn’t leave her at home or take her with me. Hugh and Mary sent hilarious action shots of her playing with another dog client throughout the day, and it’s clear they care for all their canine clients with much love. Churro was not left alone at all, which is what she needs! They enabled me to ride my dirtbike worry free, knowing my puppy wasn’t crying and howling at home alone!”
“Ceasar was THE best taking care of our dog Diego. He was very professional when we drop him off. He made sure he felt comfortable on his surroundings to a new place, then he introduced him to his very friendly dog. They started smelling each other and then started to play. When he felt comfortable again he introduced him to the rest of the dogs. He is also a dog trainer which left me very calm since I knew I could trust him and I was leaving him in good hands. While I was away skiing he sent us pictures of Diego having fun and then being exhausted from having a good time. Caesar was very nice and told us to not rush on picking him up at a certain hour, to go have dinner and then call him when we were picking up Diego. When I picked up Diego, he seemed really happy for meeting new friends and having a good time. Ceaser also gave me good advice to improve Diego's behavioural training. Would definitely leave him with Ceaser again!”

About: I've always had friends with dogs and have done house and dog sitting for many years without any issues. I also have a saint Bernard, Banks! I'm currently looking for a new job after I was laid off from my former job. I have a lot of time on my hands currently so I have open availability. I take my doggo out on walks every day! I just recently moved to the area and while I search for employment, I would love to walk your dogs🥰 I love animals so I thought this would be perfect for me! I do not currently plan to house others animals at my home because I do have two fur babies of my own. I do have a full backyard that is all fenced it though.

About: After years of caring for all my friends pets when they go out of town I decided to give this a try! I love all animals and now that I work part time at home I am always available. I am a very active person and love the outdoors so I have no problem spending time outside with your pet. Living in Big Bear there are plenty of trails and dog parks available to visit within walking distance of our home. We also have a doggy door and a fenced in backyard. We do not have pets of our own but look forward to meeting and caring for yours! I know leaving pets can be stressful but rest assured your pet will be happy and cared for.
About: I have taken care of dogs from the time I was 6 years old. I have had dogs for over 50 years and cared for each as if they were part of the family. I am currently semi-retired and can walk, or board for a dog on week days. Some week-ends too, however must be planned well in advance. I can easily crate your dog. I live in Eagle Ridge, so the terrane is quite hilly for walks, or can walk them on trails near the lake. We have a rather large home in Big Bear, with ample outside space. However the space is not fenced.

About: I have always been an animal lover. I have a BS degree in Biology with an emphasis in Zoology, and I managed a veterinary clinic for seven years. We currently have a German Shepherd, a Great Dane, and one large fluffy cat who are our furry kids. I am a very compassionate and empathetic person. I have been in social services by trade, and I love connecting and developing relationships with people and have a particular love and connection with animals. Even in my work both Child and Adult Protective Services, I always found myself drawn to protecting and caring for animals as well, to try and be their voice and an advocate. Working with people and pets seems like a natural progression, as it plays to all of my strengths!
About: We love animals! And we have an extra soft spot for senior dogs. I am located in Big Bear City and will arrange to meet your pet before our first appointment to ensure that they are comfortable with me caring for them. I work part time and am always happy to fit a pup or cat visit into my day. If your animal has a specific time they prefer to visit, just let me know.
