“Kushram and Family are a wonderful find for dog sitting or doggy day care. Give the initial booking request a bit of lead time, as the confirmation that the day/time works may take up to a day to come through. This time I put in a request 9:30pm on a Saturday, and got confirmation Sunday evening. (I suspect requests are processed daily). The initial booking request was the largest gap we experienced in communication, scheduling the meet and greet by messages was easy - they were very responsive and want to ensure you and your pup will be comfortable with their set up and go over any special needs of the dog. Our elder pup Rick was drawn to Kushram and the whole family even on the meet and greet (I think just his wife and adult nephew), as well the drop off day of, and they were able to make him comfortable enough to eat even on a short visit. Given our short booking (only about 3 hrs) we can't really comment on long term pictures/communication during the visit, but I can say I feel pretty happy that I found some place local where I feel comfortable leaving my dog when I need to go somewhere. They also have some experience with some dog special needs, but can help best when they know about it ahead of time. They were not concerned or put off in the slightest by our pups needs (mostly that he's pretty clingy, can get cold easily, and only has 3 teeth and will only eat small pieces of food, and doesn't love hanging out with other dogs), and described other dogs they had watched with similar or more challenging needs such as dog-sitting a blind dog in a new space. Thank you for taking good care of our pup!”

About: I've always had a dog. I had dogs growing up, I adopted a dog when I moved out on my own, and I adopted another dog when my children were old enough. Dogs are an important and special part of the family. I enjoy giving them attention, taking them for walks, brushing them, and of course, cuddling with them. I lost my special girl recently, and this is the first time in a while I am without my own dog. I would love to help you care for your dog while I decide whether to adopt again. I live in a townhouse that does not have a fenced yard. However, I used to take my dog for several walks per day for both exercise and potty breaks. Dogs are welcome in any part of the house, or can be restricted to downstairs, depending on their needs. I plan my schedule around the pets I care for, making sure they receive consistent attention, walks, feeding, and companionship. I’m flexible and can adjust to your pet’s specific routine and needs. I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for whether they stay in my home or I care for them in theirs. At my home, pets have access to a large backyard for supervised play and exercise, along with all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay.
