“tl;dr: if you have an anxious dog that is fearful of new people, trust Jamie to take care of your dog! We have a 10 month old puppy who is very anxious around new people and can growl. At the vet, he has gotten muzzled and needs to be sedated for regular visits. Elaine’s pet resort failed our dog within 1 hour of his meet and greet and we had to pick him up because he was “growling and aggressive.” We know that our dog is not aggressive and that he just needed someone who loves dogs and took the time to bond with him and wasn’t unnecessarily fearful of him. Jamie was that person! She is phenomenal! Our dog stayed with Jamie for 10 consecutive days with no problem! Jamie took photos during the entire stay and kept us informed. When his paws started bleeding, she even put little booties on his feet so that he could keep playing outside. Based on the photos she sent and how he acted upon pick-up, I know that our dog had a great time and truly ended up bonding and loving Jamie. Jamie really does have a gift with dogs! It was also great that she had lots of other dogs around for ours to play with and get his energy out. Thank you Jamie!”

I found Casey online, she confirmed she will take a GSD so we arranged a meet and greet first so I could see how my dog was reacting to the environment and other dogs. That went fine, so I booked a 4 night stay recently. I was so pleased with how Casey took care of Pipa, she sent me a photo, gave me updates on how Pipa was doing and everything went really well. Casey let Pipa sleep at the foot of her bed and I think that made my dog feel really secure and she played well with the other dogs. Great stay and I was very pleased all around.”

About: I've had pets (of many varieties) all of my life. My high school included classes in animal care, my first job was at a pet store, I spent several years fostering dogs and cats for a local shelter, and I've cared for friends and neighbors pets while they were on vacation. I'm currently a substitute teacher finishing up my my teaching degree. I don't teach every day and I substitute 5 minutes from home so I am able to return for lunch. I have a fenced in yard with several different fenced areas. I have a laid back 9-year-old GSD who loves walks and three cats who mostly stay away from new dogs.

About: Hi, I have grown up and taken care of dogs and many other animals , my entire life. My Mom and Dad had a lab who had 14 pups and I grew up with 2 of those puppies, Rowdy and TyTy. After Rowdy passed, at 14 years , we got the first of 2 Rottweilers, Cody Bear and then Brigadier, a 155 lb. teddy bear. Brig thought he was a lap dog, had to finally get him his own love seat! Now, I have my own family. Maya is our Rott. Mix and our first baby! She has been back and forth to Italy with us, on a road trip acoss the U.S. Everywhere we go she's with us. When we lived in Italy, we also had silkie chickens. I have owned rabbits , cats and one of my favorites was a ferret, D'artagnan. Our animals are our family.

Communication was excellent from the start, and the detailed arrival instructions they sent before drop-off made finding their property easy. Their home sits on a beautiful piece of land with farm animals and plenty of space. The last part of the drive is a dirt road and a little bumpy, but completely manageable and worth it. Christy was friendly and welcoming when we arrived, and Cody seemed comfortable and well cared for. Pickup was smooth, and he was relaxed in their home with the other dogs and kittens. Overall, a very positive experience and I would trust them with Cody again.”

About: I love all animals. I have watched neighbors & friends/ family’s fur babies. I will take your fur baby on walks and to dog parks. I am available Monday threw Sunday at any time after 8am. If it’s a emergency, I will take your fur baby before 8am. I look forward to meeting your fur baby. All dogs will be on a leash when I take them out to use the bathroom. I do not have a fenced in backyard. I only crate animals if you request that and you provide your own crate. Other wise I allow all animals to roam the house freely.

I am a ruler follower at heart, I follow any/all types of instructions you provide. About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I have professional experience in animal care. I have worked in direct contact with animals in the shelter environment, all types of behaviors, and all different types of quirks. I have frequently pet sit around my neighborhood for the last couple years and would love to meet your furry friend! I am pretty much an open calender for your pets! About: I've always been around dogs ever since I was little. The past couple years, I have house/dog sat for one of my good friends parents. They have 2 larger dogs and 2 smaller dogs, also a kitty! I enjoy being around animals and keeping them company while their parents are away. I am a busy college student who is currently going to school for sonography. About: I love dogs! This is just one of the reason I decided to live on 4 acres. We love that our property is fenced in and has so much room to play. We watch neighbors dogs all the time and love getting to know new dogs and new friends. I am home all day and available for over night stays 7 days a week. Your dog will get all the love and attention they deserve. My entire property is fenced in and I also have a fence around my backyard. Your dog will have the entire 4 acres to run around and play all day. Your dog will get plenty of exercise and love while you are away.
