“I have been meaning to find another Rover dogsitter for my GSD but many Rover sitters do not take in large breed dogs. I found Casey online, she confirmed she will take a GSD so we arranged a meet and greet first so I could see how my dog was reacting to the environment and other dogs. That went fine, so I booked a 4 night stay recently. I was so pleased with how Casey took care of Pipa, she sent me a photo, gave me updates on how Pipa was doing and everything went really well. Casey let Pipa sleep at the foot of her bed and I think that made my dog feel really secure and she played well with the other dogs. Great stay and I was very pleased all around.”

She sent pictures, took him on a walk, and even taught him a new trick (I literally booked her to drop in twice). You could just tell how much she cared about his comfort and well being; for instance, our heat went out and when the temperature dropped she offered to drive an extra two hours to bring him a heater! We live super far away from her and yet she still took an extra trip to come meet all of us. I could not recommend her enough! She’s wonderful!!”

I have been a certified dog trainer for 6 years, I worked at a board and train facility, and the last 4 years I have trained service dogs for a nonprofit. I only use positive reinforcement with my clients and their dogs. About: Hi, I have grown up and taken care of dogs and many other animals , my entire life. My Mom and Dad had a lab who had 14 pups and I grew up with 2 of those puppies, Rowdy and TyTy. After Rowdy passed, at 14 years , we got the first of 2 Rottweilers, Cody Bear and then Brigadier, a 155 lb. teddy bear. Brig thought he was a lap dog, had to finally get him his own love seat! Now, I have my own family. Maya is our Rott. Mix and our first baby! She has been back and forth to Italy with us, on a road trip acoss the U.S. Everywhere we go she's with us. When we lived in Italy, we also had silkie chickens. I have owned rabbits , cats and one of my favorites was a ferret, D'artagnan. Our animals are our family.

“Where do I even begin?! John has been a godsend to my Pitty, Aubrey and I. The moment he met Aubrey on our meet and greet, I could tell he knew what he was doing and was comfortable, which made me comfortable! Not only has John watched Aubrey, but he’s taken the extra time and care to teach and train her. I can tell he has a real love for animals, as well as being very personable, professional, and compassionate to towards Aubrey’s needs. Aubrey was rescued at 3 months old and has developed some aggression issues with other dogs, so she is not an easy one to walk at times. She also was diagnosed with a severe heart murmur and underwent a pulmonary balloon valvuloplasty, which John has been very mindful off. John has exceeded my expectations with knowledge and tools to help me help my furchild. 😊 John even brought high grade treats from home to help train Aubrey. He’s been dependable and consistent. He sends amazing photos and videos throughout the day. 10/10, highly recommend. Will be working with John as long as we can. :)”

“I have been meaning to find another Rover dogsitter for my GSD but many Rover sitters do not take in large breed dogs. I found Casey online, she confirmed she will take a GSD so we arranged a meet and greet first so I could see how my dog was reacting to the environment and other dogs. That went fine, so I booked a 4 night stay recently. I was so pleased with how Casey took care of Pipa, she sent me a photo, gave me updates on how Pipa was doing and everything went really well. Casey let Pipa sleep at the foot of her bed and I think that made my dog feel really secure and she played well with the other dogs. Great stay and I was very pleased all around.”
