“We left our beloved Buddy (a 9 years Weimaraner) with Peter for three weeks while we traveled abroad, and I can’t say enough about how phenomenal he was. This was the first time we’d ever been apart from our boy for so long, but from the very beginning we felt at ease. Peter has such wonderful energy. You can feel it immediately, and so can the dogs. When he first picked Buddy up, our pup was elated, as if he had known Peter forever, even though he had only stayed one night before as a trial. Buddy hopped into Peter’s car with pure joy and never looked back, which gave us so much peace of mind. When Peter brought Buddy back, our dog was thrilled to see us, of course :) but what struck us most was how happy and comfortable he was around Peter too. As a dog parent, that is the best reaction I could ever hope for: knowing my boy felt loved, safe, and genuinely happy while we were away. Peter and his dog, Phoe, are truly the best companions you could ever want for your pup. If you have a puppy/puppies I will crate them or if you have the puppy enclosure I will put them in there if I need to leave the room.

About: I worked at East Hills Veterinary Hospital for 1.5 years from 2023-2025. I have dog walked and pet sat (both cats and dogs) for neighbors, family, and friends for the past 3 years. My mom is a veterinarian and has taught me how to medicate cats and trim nails on mild tempered cats. I have 4 cats and 3 small dogs at home who I regularly take care of. I’m currently a college student home for the summer and living locally. I have a car and am able to create a specialized schedule based on what my clients need from me. I am flexible with timing and will only be gone for 2 weeks this summer, one at the end of July and one at the start of August. I have three small dogs and four cats at home. I’m used to feeding my pets, changing litter boxes, medicating my pets if need be, and trimming nails for cats - but only if they have a mild temper. I walk my dogs a couple times a week and play fetch with my yorkie Neville. I have a fenced in backyard and like to hang outside with them and read books and let them run around.

About: I helped my parents take care of there friends dogs since I was 8 and they've taught me a lot. Also my mom worked at Petco and worked in animal care and she told me and taught me what she's learned from her experience at work with cats and other animals. I've been currently looking for a job and havent had any luck so I have a lot of free time on my hands weekdays and weekends!! When we went to go sit my parents friends dogs we would feed them every morning and evening and then let them run around in the backyard they had a doggie door in their bedroom so for the most part the dogs had access to the bathroom to go potty and come and go as they please. But when we hung out in the living room with them since there was no access to a doggy door we would let them out around 3-4 times per day we would also walk them in the morning and sunset and feed them either before or after there walk depending on their actions and vibes

I want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. For walks or visits, I would stay aware of my surroundings, keep dogs secure on their leash, avoid unsafe situations, and pay attention to how they’re acting. My goal is for the pet to feel cared for and for the owner to feel relaxed knowing their dog is safe and in good hands.
About: I’ve spent years caring for others through nannying and customer service roles, so being dependable, attentive, and patient comes naturally to me. I have experience working at a veterinary hospital as a receptionist and have done pet sitting for a few years now. I truly love being around animals and make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I also enjoy staying active with walks, playtime, and giving pets plenty of companionship and affection. I'm currently working part time so my schedule is very flexible at the moment. I'm hoping to mainly focus on building my pet sitting business. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow all feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions carefully while making sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. I understand that being away from their owners can be stressful for some pets, so I focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment while keeping owners updated with messages and photos.
About: I love caring for dogs. Short or long walks, playing at the park or in their yard. When they are happy it makes me happy. Feeding time or treats always on owners timeline! I am currently not working so available to be with your pet all day! Feedings, walks, whatever is needed they will feel safe and happy. I like to care for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable. I will be able to keep them on their daily schedules where they feel safe.

Every pet is different, with different personalities, temperaments, schedules, etc. Of course I would love to pet, play, and be around your fur baby most of the time, but a lot of animals have boundaries, and I would honor them. If you choose to have your pet stay with us, we have a huge, fenced backyard that is just waiting for pups to play around in. I live in a house with my animal-loving family. They are adverse to getting a pet of our own, but they don’t mind pet sitting at all.
