About: I raised my 2 mini schnauzers from puppyhood through their twilight years and loved every second of it. We made many other dog friends along the way, including the occasional sleepover. I work remotely from home, so it’s easy for me to adapt to whatever schedule your dog is used to! I travel for 2-3 weeks in the year around (but typically not during) holidays. My apartment complex is gated with great walking areas for the community’s many pets. A public park is just next door with hiking trails for higher energy pups. I also have extra beds, crates, leashes, bowls, and toys if you forget yours or prefer not to haul them around.

“Our 13 year old dog Charlie had the best time at Shelly's place. It was so obvious when all he wanted to do was play when we got home. Shelly is a true dog lover, so in tune and attentive to our boy. We got detailed updates including his daily patterns and behavior. It put our mind at ease that he was enjoying his vacation as much as us. Can't wait to bring him over again!”
“I cannot recommend Laura enough. She was fantastic with our girls during their 8 day stay with her. She cared for our 2 golden retrievers (Mia and Riley), Chocolate Lab (Hershey), and our Russian Blue cat (Olivia- who has special needs as she is a tripod kitty) so well and gave us the peace of mind knowing they were in a safe and loving environment. Laura communicates very well and at the right frequency to give updates on your babies and sends pictures to help when you are missing their sweet faces. I know her house must have been hair-covered by the time we picked them up (mine always seems to be despite roomba constantly running) but she was gracious and no complaints. We will definitely book Laura in the future.”

Claudine was extremely welcoming from the beginning, made us feel at ease since we were very worried about leaving Millie since she suffers from separation anxiety. Millie came back so happy! I am truly grateful to Claudine and highly recommend her!! She was able to handle our 60 pound high energy anxious dog! She is very experienced!!
