Cesar Milan taught me how to successfully train my aggressive dog with a few behavioral changes and lots of exercise. I was blessed to take my dog to Cesar’s Dog Psychology Center (DPC) more than once. I learned so much working with Cesar and spending time with his dogs. Now I apply those same techniques to all the Rover dogs. The importance of disciplinary exercise has changed many of my clients’ dogs through multiple daily walks. Your dog will receive the same training Cesar provides while staying in my doggy day care and on our walks. He always said “a tired dog can’t misbehave” and it’s very true! I’ve been personally training celebrities like Cesar and his wife for 15+ years. My schedule is very flexible while accommodating clients 2-3 days a week. I am a professional bodybuilder so fitness is my lifestyle. I love walking, riding my bike and going to the gym. Exercise is more important to your dog than it is to us! About: I have a 9 year old lab mix at home in Seattle I’ve raised since she was a puppy. Over this past summer I volunteered at my local shelter every week helping out the shelter dogs and cats. I am currently available for boarding all days of the week as I am home full time. I am not employed at the moment and my boyfriend Hans works from home so we’ll always be home for your fur baby. That means we are able to provide constant care (3-4hrs away from the pet at most). We have a gated driveway and our yard is completely fenced. It’s a half acre fenced on a 2.5 acre lot. Tons of space for the dog to roam! We don’t have any pets right now.

About: I’ve had several dogs throughout my life and will probably be getting another one or two within the next year. My main option on here is dog boarding but, depending on the dog boarding schedule, I or somebody else on my team could also be open to do drop ins, house sitting, or walks, especially for those who have already used our boarding services. Please ask about these additional services after a confirmed boarding session. I’m in the middle of taking a few years off from teaching high school because A) Who couldn’t use a break from that? and B) I am focusing on building up a short-term rental business (Airbnb mostly). As an Airbnb host I spend a lot of time at home and have found that one of my favorite things to do is play with dogs in the yard (especially, when there’s more than one of them here at the same time!) and take them on trips to the park. I love dogs and am very reliable, trustworthy, and flexible. I live in a house with a fenced yard and all of the instructions you leave will be followed to keep your little buddy happy & safe! I am home most of the day and when I do leave it's usually only for an hour or two at a time. Most of what I do at home (working on a computer, household chores, yard work) I do in the presence of whatever dogs happen to be staying at that time. One limitation that I do try to stick to is to avoid scheduling drop-offs or pickups on Sundays before 10:00 am. Unfortunately, Rover doesn't give me the option to block off those times without blocking out the entire day so adding this note here is the only way to give you a heads up (hopefully, you read this before booking). I have a fenced yard and usually board 2 or 3 dogs at a time so that they have playmates. If ever I leave the house, dogs are left inside. Dogs that stay here must be up to date on shots as well as on a flea-prevention medication.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats pretty much my whole life and have taken care of dogs for friends and family for years. I’m really comfortable around different types of dogs and understand how to read their behavior and approach them in a calm, respectful way. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and always make sure they feel safe, cared for, and well looked after. I’ve always been around pets growing up, so caring for them feels like a natural part of my routine. While I don’t currently have pets of my own, I regularly help friends and family by taking care of theirs. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or just spending time with them, I genuinely enjoy it and make it a consistent part of my daily and weekly schedule whenever the opportunity comes up. At the moment, I’m not able to host animals at my place of residence. About: Although newer to Rover, I've been dog sitting for years and have cared for dogs and other animals most of my life. I volunteer weekly at a local animal sanctuary where I care for many different kinds of animals. Having always been a Dog Mom, I have house trained Pekingese, Lab, Rottweiler, English Mastiff, as well as pound puppies so I feel comfortable with all dog breeds and love every minute with them. Day care or overnights available 7 days a week - can pick up /drop off locally for small fee. Same day availability is also an option. I have a large fenced in yard with a pool . Pool is open for dogs to swim. Dogs would sleep indoors at night time.

“Alina was so wonderful. Our regular dogsitter had to cancel on us last minute. Alina came to the rescue and watched our dog for a 4 night stay. We were nervous to leave our senior dog (who has some special needs) with a brand new person. Usually we book an initial one-night stay with a sitter before doing anything more than 24 hours. It turns out we had nothing to be worried about. Alina checked in with us regularly and had very accurate descriptions of how our dog Bedu was settling in. By the end of her stay Bedu was in love. We brought home a very happy pup who was so well looked after, I can happily say she also had a little vacation herself. Alina’s residence is right next door to Petco, which was very convenient for us as we had forgotten to pack some supplies and stopped there on the way.”
