“Sheila took amazing care of our pup! Got lots of photos and updates, and her house and yard had tons of room to play. It was very easy to communicate. Would definitely book with her again!”

“I had the best experience with Brittany! I was really nervous to leave my dog for so many days because it was his first time being boarded, but Brittany made the whole thing so seamless. Her communication was great and she sent plenty of pictures. She did great with giving my dog his daily meds and gave me so much peace of mind while I was gone. I Highly recommend!!❤️”

“This was my first time using Rover.com and using a petsitter and I had an outstanding experience. Jess and Max were the PERFECT sitters for my needs and exceeded all expectations! I only wish I could give them 10 stars! They are the sweetest couple and so professional in their service and communication. It is obvious that they love dogs and petsitting and they immediately put both me and my dog at ease. I have a pampered little pooch who needs special food and a lot of attention, and they made every effort to accommodate her needs. I love that they watch only 1 dog at a time and were able to give all of their love and attention to my little fur baby. They sent daily photos and updates and made me feel reassured that everything was going well. At the end of the stay my little pooch was very content and well cared for. I HIGHLY recommend Jess and Max and will definitely use them again. A+++++++++++”

“Melanie is a star rover! We’ve been using Rover for our two dogs for the past four years and she’s hands-down the best one we’ve met. She’s communicative & sends updates on the dogs regularly: what they did, how much they walked, if there was anything concerning that we needed to know of, etc. She even takes our dogs on neighborhood walks & pack hikes which is so amazing. They always come back tired & happy :) You can tell she loves what she does & has a lot of experience with animals! Our dogs barely want to come home after staying with her, they love hanging out with her & her family!”

“Salud was super nice, my dog liked staying there. It was a five day stay while I was travelling. Salud responded immediately to all my messages and sent me update photos each day of my guy. Her home and yard are a lovely garden oasis. I wouldn't hesistate to leave your dog in her care and I'm happy to have found someone I can rely on in the future”

“My Jodi girl is a gentle senior American Pit Bull Terrier. She is extremely insecure and timid. Jodi warmed up to Laura and even gave her kisses. Laura took very good care of her and sent daily updates with photos.”

About: Hi, I’m Pam! I only board one dog at a time, so your pup and my own dog, Butter, will be the only two dogs in the home during your stay — no crowding, no competing for attention, just real companionship. Butter is an 8 lb, 3-year-old Pomeranian who’s super friendly and loves having a playmate, so your dog gets a built-in buddy from day one. I work from home, so your dog isn’t just getting bookend walks — I’m checking in and giving attention throughout the entire day. And thanks to years spent caring for my chiweenie, Cannoli, who I raised to age 17, I’m comfortable handling medication and the extra care senior or medically-involved dogs sometimes need — not just the basics. At a Glance • Capacity: 1 guest at a time (just your dog + Butter) • Size limit: 25 lbs and under • Services: Boarding (overnight) and Day Care (daytime only) • Hours: 7am–9pm drop-off/pick-up (extended stays past the agreed window may incur an additional charge) • Home: 2-bedroom house, fully fenced yard, AC kept at a steady 72-74° • Household: smoke-free, alcohol-free, kid- and family-friendly Field Trip Add-On Beyond our regular neighborhood walks, I offer occasional field trips — a nearby dog park, a hike at Kenneth Hahn, or a beach outing. Available as an add-on for an extra fee (not guaranteed every stay, but something I genuinely enjoy when the schedule allows). Photos included! I work from home, so pet care fits naturally into my day rather than being squeezed around a 9-to-5. • Check-ins and attention throughout the day, not just bookend walks • Free play in the fenced yard between walks • Walks at 8am, lunchtime, and 4pm, plus an evening potty break around 8pm • Meals served in a designated eating area, separate from the play space • Playtime with Butter throughout the day • Medications given exactly as directed, on schedule • Dogs relax and sleep in our open living/dining space, each with their own dog bed • Photo and video updates every stay My home is set up to keep things calm, clean, and safe for your dog. • Fully fenced yard for secure off-leash play • Air conditioned, kept in the 72–75° range year-round • Smoke-free and alcohol-free household • Only one guest at a time — just your dog and my own dog, Butter • Meals served in a designated eating area • Hands-on medication and senior-dog care experience, from raising my chiweenie Cannoli to age 17
“Janae was wonderful and has a great setup. She made Honey feel at home and safe. The daily updates and responsiveness were amazing for me as it being my first time leaving my pupper with a sitter. I feel 100% comfortable leaving my pup in Janae’s care again.”

“Molly was awesome taking care of our dog ; she kept us informed with updates and pictures, and made us feel comfortable while we were out of town. I will definitely book Molly for our dog sitting.”

“Our dog Buster had a great time at Lacey’s. He immediately connected with her and her adorable Noosha (and even Hillary the cat!). Both Buster and I immediately felt a sense of safety and calm in her space. Looking forward to the next time!”

“I cannot express enough of my gratitude! Pat was amazing with our pup. We’ve always boarded our dog when taking our family vacations, but never got any updates let alone a photo update. Pat stayed in touch daily with added photos. We had peace of mind our entire trip knowing our dog was doing well. We’d definitely recommend Pat and will be reaching out to her again for any future trips! ?”

“Tiffany and her partner were highly communicative, sent pictures and updates, and our Konabear slept through the night with them! Thanks Tiffany and Liz :)”

“Gaelen and Shenelle are the perfect forster parents for your furbabies! They went above and beyond when my (very shy) Flacko stayed with them. Lots of walks and attention, as well as updates to reassure me. When he was being fussy with eating, they even cooked some food for him. The cherry on top was their dog, Ruby. She was the ideal companion, with her calm and friendly demeanor.”

“Alicia and James did a fantastic job caring for our little Dobby! She is a 9 year old puppy! She has a lot of energy and loves cuddles. I was a little worried leaving her for two weeks which is the longest we’ve had to board her. Alicia and James made me feel so comfortable and sent lots of pictures letting me know when she ate and played. I really loved having them sit for us and would love to use them again in the future.”

“Shar was amazing per usually despite my Prada misbehaved on a day. Shar was patient with Prada and explained to me what Prada can benefit from when she starts dog training, to make her overall a more polite dog around other dogs. I will definitely book with Shar and recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter, as I trust her with my Prada care while I’m away. Thank you Shar!!!”

“Thank you Rosario and Ryan for another wonderful stay🥰 It was Bisco’s first overnight stay with them, and she sometimes doesn’t eat because she can get a little nervous/anxious at a stranger’s house, but she ate her meal with them just fine. Thank you for providing a clean, warm, comfortable, and safe space for Bisco🙏🏻 Will book again and highly recommend for other fur parents!”

“Lucero is great! She took my last minute booking, and followed my instructions to take care of my pop! Sent thorough updates multiple times a day, and tons of photos and videos. Gonna book again next week! Thanks!”

“Tian was great with our pup. I needed a sitter for a last minute trip and he was super quick to respond. Always responsive and kept me constantly updated with pictures of our dog. I felt good about her being with Tian and would definitely use him again.”

“Daniela was great- she replied to our request and answered our questions very promptly. We left our dog for the first time with her over two weeks during our travel out of the country. She provided daily updates with videos, showed our dog a ton of love, and checked in quite often. Overall our girl had a great stay with no issues. Definitely will recommend and consider Daniela for the future.”

“Katy is caring and looked after my dog like it was her own! My little Ziggy stayed with Katy and her family from Friday to Sunday. She kept me updated with videos and pictures - I could see he was having a great time! When I picked him up he was happy and I could tell he enjoyed his stay. I really loved that her daughter and nephew got to play with him. I’m looking forward to booking with Katy again!”

“Liz was a great sitter for us and took wonderful care of Rocky and Her Babes while we were away. She was thoughtful, communicated any needs and gave them plenty of play time. She knew exactly how to handle the little menaces. 🖤”

“Stephanie has been wonderful checking in on our cats when we have been out of town! She is very professional by letting us know when she is arriving, she makes sure our cats get the love they need while we are not there, and she sends pictures every time of them. Our cats love her, and we feel relieved to have her around to take care of them!”

“Ashley is the best! She came right over to make a backup litter box for my baby when his automatic box malfunctioned. She was so gentle with him and cuddled him to comfort him on her drop in visit. Do not hesitate to book her!”

She made sure my kitties were well taken care of during my holiday and was very punctual with sending photos and updates during each visit. She also made sure my kitties had fun and were entertained! Will definitely be my go-to sitter anytime my boyfriend and I will be out of town! ❤️👍”

About: I've had pets since I was a kid. I had a cat that lived to be 19, a Black Lab that made it to 16 and a Weimaraner that made to 13. I have a lot of experience caring for elderly pets and I have the energy for puppies. I have administered medication for both dogs via pill and shots. I most recently have been pet sitting my neighbors dogs and cats, if references are requested. I'm currently work remotely and am very flexible with time/hours/days/evenings/long term stay/short term stay/drop-ins. I offer over night stay as long as Wifi is provided for my work computer. I will create a safe and playful environment for your pet(s). I am open to suggestions/request per owner. Please feel free to reach out for further inquiries.
“Guadalupe was a reliable, punctual, attentive, and altogether great pet sitter to our kitty! Our cat had recently been spayed and needed medication applied to her incision site, which Guadalupe diligently did each day. Upon our request, Guadalupe even turned off some of our outdoor lights when it was raining. 5/5 stars! We would highly recommend Guadalupe for all of your pet sitting needs!”

“We really appreciated Sarah’s professionalism, attention to detail, and level of care while taking care of Squeaky. We knew she was in very good and capable hands while we were away. Squeaky was comfortable with Sarah right away and the daily updates were thoughtful and very reassuring.”

“Rachel was an amazing sitter for Maui. She took such good care of her and gave her plenty of cuddles and play time. Maui was very welcoming to Rachel! I loved the detailed report cards and pictures she sent me. Would love to have Rachel care for Maui again, thank you!”
“Very pleasant and good to my cats. Dealt with a situation with my automatic feeder caused by my fat little tortoise shell trying to break it without needing my help while I was on a cruise. Will book again next time.”

“This was our first time using Rover for pet sitting services and we were very pleased. Paula had relevant experience for one of our cats who needs medication, which was key in our selection of her as a sitter (FIP diagnosis and treatment). She organized her schedule to meet with us via video ahead of time, which we always appreciate, and she also came to our home for an in person walk-through of the house and security system. At the beginning of the sit, our cat who needed medication proved to be quite the little Houdini as far as hiding and avoiding her dose. Paula made us aware of the situation and between us, a helping hand from a friend, and a few FaceTime conversations (on Christmas Eve no less!), we were able to locate and medicate the little devil. We then came up with a new plan to avoid issues, but I really applaud Paula’s cool head and flexibility as it was definitely a challenge. Paula also communicated every day, and included pictures and videos of the kitty kids so I knew they were happy and well-fed. Our little trouble maker kitten also managed to cut her foot which Paula spotted and treated immediately. Paula was very reliable during the sit, including staying a bit later when our flight time changed, and when we arrived, everything was tidy and the other cats were clearly relaxed and happy. If I need a drop-in sitter again, I will definitely rebook her.”

About: Hey there! I am Ariana, and I have grown up with all sorts of pets, from different dogs to birds, to fish. We'd often rescue animals when they were lost or injured until they found a home while caring for my own pets as well. This lifestyle has lead me to take care of my friends pets while they were away and now to Rover! I now focus on gaining the trust of pets and ensure that they feel safe in my care. I am a dancer in LA and spend most of my time at the studio in the greater LA area or in my neighborhood. For sitting I can stay at your place, or I'm happy to have my clients stay with me as well, however we do have another dog here. Whatever works best! Plus I live near a great park! I can guarantee you that your pet will recieve very special and respectful care from me as I truly believe in the importance of treating animals with love and kindness. I am pretty flexible as long as we communicate together on what is needed for your doggie. When visiting my client's home, I like to first communicate with the owners to learn about the needs of my clients, the rules, schedule, and what kind of activity is needed to ensure my client has a good time! I have a lot of patience and listening skills for doggies that are still learning social cues, and are still getting trained, or may even be a bit socially anxious. I never push animals if they are not ready, but i do enjoy offering guidance if needed. I always consider my surroundings and instill grounding when taking care of younger/less trained dogs. Dancer and kids ballet teacher...i usually have work Tues-Fridays in later afternoons. with that I have plenty of time to fill with pet care like walks and house sits. If I take care of a pet in my home I try to make it as comfortable as possible for them. I like to communicate with my clients about indoor training and how potty breaks work beforehand.

About: Even though I’ve had my own cat for a year I grew up with cats and dogs so it’s natural that I became a Cat Mom to my SONshine, Overton. Hoping to adopt another cat soon but for now Overton was a very active kitten and hasn’t slowed down at all. He loves playing with my granddog Beaux and hides in paper bags. He definitely has trained me to be a really good cat sitter!!

About: Hi. My name is Chris, I'm a Los Angeles native, UCLA educated, energetic, trustworthy, young professional. I can say that i've always been an animal lover but never had the opportunity to express it until Itztli. Itztli is my first furball (4 year old Vizsla) and I keep him on his toes. He is has tons of energy that we expel by playing fetch, going to the dog park, and walking around the neighborhood. Itztli loves dogs and people. I love to walk and would love the opportunity to walk with your furry companion. I work from home and I'm extremely flexible as well. “Maxi was with Daniela for doggy daycare last week, by the end of the week, it was clear they already had a comfy routine and made a bond. Thanks Daniela for being so caring, communicative and responsive, See you next week!”

“Eve and Vincent took great care of our dog, and were really communicative the whole way through. They were responsive in the lead up, shared updates during the day, and she came home happy from a day of playing at the house. We brought her over for two separate visits, and look forward to having her there again in the future.”

About: I have been a dog-friend all my life. I have been a pet sitter for many years, both in Portland and Los Angeles. I’ve had dogs most of my adult life. An Australian shepherd (Ghost), a Kelpie (Freyja), and currently a Boxer/Bullie (Princess Leia), and a Staffie (Kylo Ren). While I am not a professional trainer, I have personally trained all of my doggies who all became calm, well-behaved kiddos. Kylo is still in training, as he is newly adopted and just over a year old. My work schedule is flexible, and can mostly be done remotely. I can dedicate much time to the care and/or training of your kiddo. My doggos eat twice daily with at least three trips outside. Kylo is still working on his bravery skills for walks. I am happy to adhere to your preferred schedule for your kiddo(s).

About: Talk about a long recess! The last time I was actively walking on Rover, I was still grinding through grad school. Fast forward a few years—I survived, got the degree, and now I’m a college professor! But with campus closed for the summer and seasonal breaks, I am thrilled to swap my lecture notes for a leash. To keep things smooth, I specialize 100% in neighborhood walks and drop-in pet sitting. I don't accept boarding or daycare requests at my location, meaning your pet gets my undivided attention and a premium, PhD-level walking /sitting experience right in their own familiar territory. I'm also self employed so I make my own schedule. I only care for pets in your home, and I follow your rules while making sure your pet feels loved and cared for because they should feel as comfortable as possible when you're not around.

Will carve time for a few leashed walks in my neighborhood and View Park is right near me for some great squirrel watching :) lots of scritches and cuddles too!

“It’s difficult for my pup to trust and let you walk him if it’s not me. As soon as my dog met Hugo, he was ecstatic to meet him. Hugo has great energy. It’s calming and patient. Exactly what my child needs since he’s very stubborn lol. Hugo even convinced my pup to eat his breakfast after his walk (he didn’t want to eat the day before because I was out of town and being a sad boy). Thanks Hugo! Will definitely book him again!”

About: I love animals, I have been taking care of animals since I was 13 years old. I have experience in dog ,cat , small animals, and exotic animals such as birds and reptiles. I understand the responsibility that it comes with. I myself am a mother of a eleven year old poodle mix. I would love the opportunity to help families since I know how costly pet sitting can be. I' really enjoy working with animals and allowing them still be in their own environment while their parents are away. I’m available for daily check-in on feeding or potty time or walks if needed. I am also available for pet sitting A while on vacation for extended time. A pet is a family member, and as a family member we follow safety rules. Following through expectations of the client is very important on how he or she takes care of their pet keeping things as consistent as possible while Mom or dad are away . Having clear communication and notes are always helpful , Such as food amounts, medication, toys, any habits he/she may have and treat amounts.
“Needed quick help in a bind. Alejandra was communicative and knew how to handle all the hype at the start. Thanks so much for your care and will definitely be calling again in the future :)”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats in my home and always owned a dog so I understand how important they are. I consider pets family and will celebrate their birthdays too. My friends and neighbor’s dogs always seem to like me. One neighbor had a Chihuahua that barked at everybody except me because I always stopped and stared at her. I think she liked that I always gave her attention. And I’ll make sure to give your fur baby attention too! Since my work schedule is very flexible I can fit pet care into my daily or weekly routine easily. Daily walks and feedings isn’t a problem I will take the necessary precautions to make sure your pet is secured in your home by checking locks and fenced areas because your pet’s safety is important to me
About: I grew up with different breeds of dogs. My first dog growing up was a cockapoo. Who was very energetic and fluffy. I've also always loved pugs so my dad brought home a baby pug growing up. Each dog is different and has different needs, you just have to figure out what that is and from there you're good to go. I currently don't have a dog, but enjoy dog sitting and playing with other people's dogs!! I enjoy going out on runs and walks and it would be great to be able to have a dog to go on runs with. I also enjoy having a happy four leggged friend greet me when I come home to walk them or just after work even if it's temporary!
About: My name is Kaymesha and I am currently working from home for three days of the week, and I'm off very early around 1 PM. You can assure your pup is always being watched and tended to. Pups are allowed on the couch And I do go for about 2 to 3 walks a day. I live next to a big dog friendly park so afternoon sniffs will occur. I am currently working part time so I will have ample amount of time to play with your pup, take them to the park, and also in the front yard. I do have a big yard so outside time will not be a problem. I have a big grassy fenced yard and one fur baby. I also have extra crates if needed for any reason that are clean and ready for use.

“Janae was wonderful and has a great setup. She made Honey feel at home and safe. The daily updates and responsiveness were amazing for me as it being my first time leaving my pupper with a sitter. I feel 100% comfortable leaving my pup in Janae’s care again.”

“Lucero is great! She took my last minute booking, and followed my instructions to take care of my pop! Sent thorough updates multiple times a day, and tons of photos and videos. Gonna book again next week! Thanks!”

About: I am the kind of person who'll always find a pet to pet or coo over no matter where I am; I always volunteer to watch my friends' animal friends when they can't because they're so freakin' cute. Throughout my life I or my family have had some pets, from hamsters to cats to dogs (and big ones!), so I know how to treat animals well and how to care for them. I love taking dogs to the park and run with them, play, and give them treats, but I'm careful not to spoil them too much no matter how much I want to. I know when they need to get their energy out and when to chill, when to give them personal attention and if they need a firm (but appropriate!) discipline. It will be a mutual love at first sight ! :D I freelance and have a flexible schedule. I don't always know which days but I usually will be able to tell at min 1-2 days in advance. I'm also generally available weekends. I cater to each dog. I have the friendliest dog of my own to hang with yours so I'm well versed in dog care. We love walks and hikes and hangs, either at home or backyard or beach! If a crate is required that's not a problem. I like to casually supervise them while letting them play and run around if close supervision isn't necessary.

“So grateful to have found Cristina and Marty to care for our dog while we had to travel for a week. They sent frequent updates and videos and took excellent care of our pup. Highly recommend!”

“Bridgette is amazing!! So glad we met her; she took care of my dog who just had surgery and has separation issues for three days… Bridgette was able to get him to settle down, administer medication, and provide many walks, play time, and snuggles on the bed. She also provided many photos and videos along with updates on how he was doing. I could not ask for a better experience- he even gave her a kiss goodbye! We will definitely be booking with Bridgette again sometime. Thank you again!”
