“Mel & Co. are magic. My dogs came home happy, joyful, and clearly celebrated—not just cared for. Her home brings out the very best in them. They’re now completely conked out, the satisfied kind of tired that only comes after a true Disneyland-level stay. I’d book with Mel for a fourth time without hesitation. Highest recommendation.”

“Thank you for taking good care of gizmo. You kept me up to date with him and were so patient with him with his eating and his bathroom breaks. Thank you for grooming him and we love all the pictures! We will definitely use you again for our fur baby!”

“I don’t even know where to start! Veronica is the best sitter we’ve had for our little guy Finn, sending updates daily along with pictures of her and her family loving on him is the absolute best! I feel so at ease when we leave him in her care, and he has a blast with the other pups. Thank you as always Veronica, we will see you again soon!”

“Nadine and Louie were amazing! Perfect place to leave your dogs with a peace of mind. They took care of Buzz like he was their own and kept us updated with photos through out his stay. Highly highly recommend! :)”

“Sandra did an amazing job taking care of our dog, Morgan! She was kind, attentive, and made sure Morgan felt comfortable and loved while we were away. We really appreciated all the picture updates and detailed messages she sent—it gave us such peace of mind knowing Morgan was in great hands. We highly recommend Sandra to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter. Thank you Sandra!!”

“Laurel cared for our two dogs, and everything went great. She's very good at sending pictures and videos, so you know your babies are well cared for. Her house and yard feel very secure, as far as dogs getting out of the yard. I highly recommend Laurel and will hopefully use her again.”

“Tania is a great caretaker!! She sent me updates of my pup throughout the day and was always easy to reach. I highly recommend booking your stay with her and I will definitely be having my baby Bruce stay with her again.🩵🩵”

“Kiana did such a great job watching our dogs! They were so well loved, and she sent us great photos and videos of their visit. Kiana was such a pleasure to work with as well. I would give more than five stars if I could, and I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Thank you for having Ellie Carola! Carola was great with our dog Ellie. She’s very knowledgeable and cares a lot about dogs. Her house and yard is spacious and the dogs have lots of space to run around. She also sent us updates and photos which we appreciate!”

“Ashley is great! She’s very good at communicating while she’s in the care of our fur baby! I genuinely feel that Bailey was happy and felt at home. I will definitely book with her in the future! Thank you Ashley!”

“I am so please do have met Alex and know how she cares for these dogs. This was the first time we had left a 4-year-old Pomeranian with anyone outside our family. I had lots of concerns, and she addressed each and every one of them. I have full confidence in the care given by Alex and family, and highly recommend. This will be Bentley's boarding home when needed!”

“I greatly appreciate the help Patty gave to my cat, Ash! Patty was very reliable, attentive, warm hearted, patient and understanding in handling my cat needs. Is great at communicating and sending updates with photos. Thank you Patty for making Ash feel at home so she could have an enjoyable experience! Would like to book again if there is another opportunity. Take care!”

“Absolutely satisfied with the care and how elizabeth always made sure to keep me updated while caring for my dog. I highly recommend her and will definitely be asking for her service again.”

I am currently relocating back to the Central Valley and will be home 7 days a week. I am dedicate to caring for your pups as if they were my own. We also have a spare room dedicated to crate training and wind down time if requested.
“Brittany is super caring and has great positive energy. I felt very comfortable leaving our elderly Maltese, Buttons, with her. Buttons has separation anxiety and gets depressed when I leave her but she quickly warmed up to Brittany. I will definitely reach out to her again for future pet sitting needs. Thank you Brittany!”

About: I have taken care of pets, cats and dogs, from a young age. I grew up a cat and dog owner and have always loved my pets. I have experience training young dogs for sit, stay, fetch, lay down, roll over, wait, and go. I also regularly pet sit for family members. I am currently not working due to summer break, so I have full open availability. When school starts in August, I will be available evening after 5 and all day weekends. I am hoping to find pet sitting for weekends and dog walks for week days. I currently have a 3 bedroom apartment that is pet friendly. I can take care of small dogs/ cats at my own home and able to take them for walks around my neighborhood. I am willing and comfortable to pet sit in the client’s home and to go to the client’s home to take pups for walks.
“Cassidy was amazing! I received pictures of Cloud every day and updates. They even allowed him on furniture, which was important for my cuddle bug. Their other dogs and Cloud had a really fun time, and even met their cat. Surprisingly Cloud was reportedly great with the cat. Now that I have him home he is just chilling right next to me fighting a nap because he had so much fun”

About: I have been a dog mom most of my life. More recently I’ve worked with a rescue and have experience fostering dogs . All 3 of my dogs are rescues and they are all very different so I’ve learned that they all their own individualized plan I currently work full time so I am available most weekends for boarding. Sometimes I’m off over the summer so my availability opens up then I have a really big fenced yard and a cozy pet friendly home. I have 3 small dogs who I love very much. My heeler mix is a bit fear aggressive towards new people and large dogs but he is obedient and I am working on socializing him more and I know exactly to manage. I’ve fostered a variety of dogs the last year and he just needs time to warm up to new dogs and people. My other 2 are terrier mixes and have been socialized since they were pups.
“This was my first time ever using a dog sitter and I was blown away at how amazing Anissa was with taking care of our dog! She was great at communicating and sending us photos of our dog everyday! If you ever need a dog sitter please pick her because she made us feel so at ease knowing our dog was in good hands! Highly recommend her! Thanks Anissa :)”

“Very much appreciate all the work taking care of Mufasa! Thanks so much for being so responsive and taking care of his special needs. He's very important to us and we are very thankful.”

About: I have been taking care of cats professionally for roughly 2 or so years. I have cat sit multiple times for 2 older cats with disabilities. I've done quick check ins with feeding and cleaning as well as longer check ins to provide medicine, care and love to the not so shy kitties.
“Abigail was wonderful! She came to our house twice a day to take care of our dogs. We have a Labradoodle and a Lab. They are both high energy big dogs. She took them for walks every morning and spent pool time with them in the evening. They loved her and we are so grateful that she was able to help us out! This was our first time trying Rover and we highly recommend Abi!”

Take care!”

“My cat probably wouldn’t still be alive without Ariel. The vet confirmed a diagnosis of diabetes, just as I had suspected, and she now requires insulin injections every 12 hours indefinitely. I was so afraid that I would do something wrong when giving her the injection… Ariel was so patient with me, explaining each thing she did and why, when she injected her for me… until I finally gave the injection myself WITHOUT her here this morning! She made herself available at WHATEVER time my cat needed her insulin injection, while we worked out the dosing scheduling. Ariel is the best!”

“Vanessa was amazing. She came to our house as agreed and fed, watered and changed the litter for the little man. Importantly, she spent time with him and he (3 year old kitty) loved her. She was punctual and absolutely wonderful. She is our go to person!”

About: With 18 years of firsthand cat ownership, I understand just how much cats become family. I provide attentive, compassionate care shaped by a lifetime of loving and living alongside them.

About: Specializing in gentle, professional care to elderly and disabled dogs and cats. I started my professional career in animal care at the East Bay SPCA Veterinary Clinic in Oakland. Inspired by the importance of animal welfare, I would complete an eight-week internship at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, where I gained valuable skills in veterinary pre- and post-op care. Following that remarkable experience, I was a veterinary assistant for a holistic veterinarian at a private practice. Later, I returned to shelter medicine as a veterinary technician at the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society. This span of 25 years allowed me to develop and strengthen my skills and expertise in animal care, specializing in the needs of senior dogs and cats. I am an active foster parent volunteer for Tulare County Animal Services specializing in bottle-feeding neonatal orphaned kittens. I have five cats - it's probably not surprising that they are all "foster failure" Bottle Babies! One cat had an eye removed after it was damaged from severe conjunctivitis. Another cat was born with a leg deformity that impaired her walking ability, so she is my little "tripod" buddy.

About: I have had cats my entire life, everything from more independent indoor/outdoor cats to the pampered apartment dwellers that need constant attention. I'm happy to take care of anything your cat needs, from playtime to clean-up!

About: Although I have a mild cat allergy, I’ve had cats of my own in the past and truly enjoy caring for them. I’m happy to provide drop-in visits for feedings, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and companionship. I understand that cats often need care that feels calm, patient, and respectful of their space. Whether your cat is social and snuggly or more independent and slow to warm up, I’ll follow their routine and comfort level so they feel safe while you’re away. Because of my allergy, I do limit extended overnight cat stays, but I’m still happy to provide attentive drop-in care and updates for your feline family members.
About: I have taken care of cats and dogs for my family members for two years. I rented a house and the owner left his two Great Pyrenees to be in my care for the amount of time I lived there. I have a 3 year old pit bull and a 2 year old German Shepherd I love and care for now. I also have a 2 year old kitty that I love. All animals need love time and energy and I adore animals and their unique personalities! I’m currently working a full time job but I do get Friday- Sundays off which allows me to spend a lot of time with my animals but I know a lot of people who work weekends and or want to travel and I am willing to help people with their fur babies while they’re away. With my families, I make sure to establish a relationship first and make your fur baby trust me and enjoy being around me. If I go to your home, I will always ask where their favorite spot it or if you would like to crate them while I leave. I do enjoy walking them and feeding them and giving treats to enforce positive behavior.
“This was our fist time using Rover, and I didn’t really know what to expect, but Brittany went above and beyond when taking care of our pets. Every day she visited, she truly spent quality time with our pets, making the most of her visit and being sure to leave a special note on how they were doing and send us lots of pictures. I am so appreciate of her kindness and love for animals. Thank you so much Brittany! 😊”

“Kendra was amazing. Very quick to respond which was so nice as my husband and I were traveling abroad. She followed our requests for meal times for our kitties, and sent lots of photos. We would definitely have kendra back! Highly recommend!”

About: Hi there, my name’s Sarah! I’m a part-time Rover sitter and full-time dog lover! I have two dogs of my own and have fostered over 15 dogs of all ages/breeds/backgrounds. I understand the importance of respecting each dog as an individual with their own specific needs and preferences. I promise to take the time to get to know your pups in order to give them a personalized experience and spoil them with love while you’re away! Thanks for taking the time to review my profile to see if I could be a good fit for your fur baby! Here’s a quick overview of the services I can provide: Walks/Drop-Ins - Let me take some stress off you by giving your fur baby a break/exercise while you’re at work or just unable to do so yourself! I’ll be sure to enrich your pet’s day with engagement and my undivided attention, and will ensure your pet’s safety the entire time. Boarding – This is where your pup comes to my home for a vacation of their own while you’re away! You’re more than welcome to stop by for a visit beforehand to see where your pup will be staying, get to know myself and my husband, and introduce your pup(s) to mine! We have two dogs – Stella is a 7-year-old chocolate lab mix and Aspen is a 4-year-old amstaff mix (scroll to the bottom of my profile to check them both out). They’re both easy going and love making new friends! We live on 2 acres, part of which is a wetland that your pup can explore! Although our yard is not fenced at the moment, our house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac, and we have multiple 100ft long leashes that we can use for extra safety if your pup likes to wander (although we will always be outside when the pups are outside). Since my husband and I both work from home, we can provide frequent potty breaks and regular walks. In order to not burn out our dogs and our house, we just ask that your pups are house-trained, dog-friendly, and do not have any major destructive traits (we understand accidents happen 😊). Please send your pup with any supplies they may need (food, bed, favorite toys, crate if they use one, a clothing item with your smell, etc.). For these types of bookings, I can either pick up your dog from your house and drop them back off on the last day, or you can drop them off at my house – whatever is easier for you! Sitting – This is where I watch your pup in your home where they are already comfortable! The standard sitting involves me staying in your home overnight and basically standing in for you while you’re gone. I can adapt to your pup’s schedule and routines whether that’s breakfast under the kitchen table or an evening cuddle session on the couch! I will bring my work with me during the week and will bring my own food (no need to stock your pantry/fridge). I’ll be self-sufficient while also keeping up with your house – let me know if I’ll be staying on trash day and can put your bins out or if you’d like me to bring in your mail so it doesn’t pile up in the mailbox! This type of booking is great for families with a space for me to stay and pups who love being homebodies! Some more notes: I’m a “dogs allowed anywhere” person so if your pup is staying in our home, they’re welcome on the couch and bed! If you have a different standard for your pups, especially if I’m staying in your home, please let me know so I can keep up with your routine and training! Pet photography is a passion of mine so you can trust your pup will have their own personal photo shoot (if they’re up for it) and you’ll get all the good pics!
“Jelly Bean had a great time with Cassidy! He got all the attention and snuggles he so desperately, and annoyingly, wanted. I definitely recommend Cassidy for your pet sitting needs!”

“Mel was beyond friendly and welcoming! Receiving updates from our pups showed how much fun they were having. Can thank her enough for accepting our pups short notice and being flexible. 🤍”

“Laurel was very kind, warm, and caring! Our dog came back happy, relaxed, and it was clear he had been very well looked after. While he was staying with Laurel, we were able to fully enjoy visiting Sequoia National Park, including the areas where dogs aren’t allowed, which made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. Thank you, Laurel, for taking such wonderful care of our fur baby and giving us complete peace of mind. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with you again and highly recommend you to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog sitter!”

About: I’ve cared for pets since childhood, raising both cats and dogs of my own and helping neighbors, friends, and family with theirs. I have experience with puppies as young as 15 weeks, energetic adults, and senior dogs who require gentle, patient care. I’ve also raised two cats from kittens to adulthood, so I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level. I’ve personally walked through the joy of raising pets and the heartbreak of saying goodbye to four beloved dogs and one cat in their senior years, which gives me a special compassion for aging pets and the families who love them. I’m also certified through the GoodPup Dog Training Certification program, which has strengthened my understanding of reward-based care, basic training support, enrichment, and helping dogs feel safe and successful. What sets me apart is not just my love for animals, but my reliability, consistency, and attention to detail. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, quirks, and preferences so I can care for them with the same patience and love I give my own. As a stay-at-home mom and small business owner who works from home, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to provide consistent attention throughout the day for boarding, daycare, walks, drop-ins, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddle breaks. I do my best to follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. I provide a safe, welcoming, family-style home environment with a fenced backyard, plenty of room to play, and no resident pets, so visiting dogs receive lots of attention and care. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routines, feeding schedule, crate routine, medication instructions, and comfort preferences as closely as possible. My young son is part of our daily routine and may be present during bookings. He has been raised around animals and is always supervised, so I only accept pets who are comfortable around small children. For cat care, I provide attentive drop-in visits focused on feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, companionship, and updates while you’re away.

“From step one Veronica was easy to work with. She was responsive in setting up the dog sitting. My little girl was a bit hesitant and stayed shy but I could tell that Veronica was sweet and patient with her. Great experience. Thank you”

My Care Style (What Your Pet Can Expect) I’ve always been an animal lover and enjoy staying active with pets. I provide multiple daily walks, playtime, and quiet companionship so your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Walks & Outdoor Time In addition to yard time, I live near parks and walking trails, so your dog will enjoy regular walks, enrichment, and plenty of sniff time. About: I’ve been dog sitting & providing services for over 10 years now! For 5+ years I’ve dog sat Gracie the pit bull (see photos) as her father is always traveling for work for extended periods of time prior to coming back to this platform. I treat every animal as if they were my own so I understand on a personal note how sentimental they mean to their owners! I pride myself in my patience & professionalism. Very easy going & willing to do weekends for repeated clients! ❤️ I currently have a huge fenced backyard & will always make sure they’re monitored. About: I’ve taken care of dogs from The Bay to LA. All sizes and ages. From Goldens to Pitties to Dachshunds, my goal is to always make your pup feel welcomed and safe. I have two pups of my own. They are both house trained, crate trained, and incredibly playful and friendly :) Miggie and Frida are sure to keep your pup occupied and happy during their stay. We have a yard where they’ll be free to run around and lay. We also routinely take our dogs out on walks, and will be sure to include yours as well. I am currently relocating back to the Central Valley and will be home 7 days a week. I am dedicate to caring for your pups as if they were my own. We offer a secured, gated yard area where animals are free to play and lay. They will be supervised and supported during their stay. We also have a spare room dedicated to crate training and wind down time if requested.
About: I don’t just watch pets, I build trust with them. By learning their routines and personalities, I create a calm, familiar experience that keeps them happy, comfortable, and stress-free while you’re away. I plan my weekly schedule around the pets in my care to ensure I can meet their specific needs—whether that’s regular walks, medication timing, feeding routines, or extra attention. I keep a consistent routine so pets feel comfortable and owners can rely on dependable care. At this time, I offer pet care exclusively in my client’s home. While I’m not able to host pets in my own space, I’ve found that staying in their home keeps them more relaxed and comfortable. I stick closely to their usual routine, meals, walks, playtime, and any special care so they feel safe and well cared for while you’re gone.

“Mel & Co.

“Our two-day dog boarding with Keota was absolutely wonderful! Our dog settled in quickly and happily interacted with the hosts and their other pets. A huge thank you to Keota and her family for taking such great care of our dog while we were able to explore Sequoia Park. Keota was very attentive, regularly keeping us posted and sharing pictures and video of our dog. We definitely recommend them—an excellent place to leave your beloved four-legged pet!”

“Sarah has watched our dogs twice overnight now. Sarah is dependable (which is something we’ve struggled with with other sitters on Rover). I forgot to message ahead and remind her we were coming yesterday but she remembered. Our dogs were happy to come back, which the best part. She listens to what you ask for with caring for your fur babies. We will continue to book with her.”

“Kohl was such an amazing sitter! My dog loved her right away and seemed to have an amazing weekend! We got lots of pictures and Gitzo looked so happy in all of them. Would absolutely leave my dog with Kohl again 😊”

“Bo stayed with Davisha & Donald for 4 days. During his stay, we received multiple pictures per day and were able to see a few videos of him enjoying himself with the other dogs. He received good care and seemed so happy. The pictures and prompt responses to messages helped keep us at ease that he was being well taken care of. Bo is a high energy dog and he received a lot of exercise while in their care. We would definitely book with them again!”

“Say third times the charm. Used a couple of sitters since I’ve been here. Won’t speak much on those experiences but Yetta was by far the most comfortable safest experience I’ve received. She will be my permanent sitter while I’m here so she comes highly recommended. Good size yard. Went out of her way to get my boy his extra food even though I deemed it unnecessary. Your pup will be in great hands here.”
