“Lacey was wonderful with my pup, Sweetpea. She let my dog cling to her for several days while I was away - "Velcro puppy!" Ha. My dog is elderly and a tad feisty so it was nice to know she could hang out and be herself. Lacey has lots of other dogs there and I think it helped mine feel like part of the pack. There was one pup - a fellow poodle named Cooper - that my dog really bonded with, and I think that helped too. I would absolutely use Lacey again to watch my sweet pup. She was also really great with texting photos and status updates to put my mind and heart at ease.”

My policy on dog breeds and sizes is in place because of two separate incidents. First, I lost a beloved pet to a boarded Rover doggo on Christmas morning, 2020. Having to put my little pig Minnie in the freezer after being attacked on Christmas morning was a horribly traumatic experience. In June 2023 I was attacked by a 110lb Rover dog at a meet and greet and had to go to the hospital. If the owner had not been present, I would have been killed.
