After an intro meeting, day long sit and then a 2 night stay, we knew she was ready for a 9 night stay. It took a while for her anxiety and walls to come down, but Lucy was so patient and kind with Kona. We looked forward to our updates, especially the videos and photos, and came to call them ‘Lucy Grams’. It was so comforting to see our girl having fun and Lucy’s two pups are great companions. About: We both grew up loving and taking care of our family dogs. When I was in college, I often worked as a dog sitter for neighbors and friends. I was able to build a network who trusted me with their precious pooches. We are still in the process of trying to find a pup of our own but in the meantime, while working from home, we have plenty of time to care for your pet. You can expect lots of snapshots and frequent updates (as often as you’d like) to keep you posted. Whether your furry friend prefers to lounge on the couch or go exploring and running around, we're happy to do what makes them happy! We love hiking, exploring, and discovering the gems in our city! I work from home full time so have the ability and flexibility to be available for your pets needs. Since I am still looking for a dog of my own, it's a great way to love on pups and get my fill of activities with walks or downtime snuggling on the couch. When staying at my home or a client's, I will always follow their guidelines and rules in terms of what is allowed. Mine is a very dog friendly home so they are always welcome on furniture or in the bed as they see fit.

About: I have 8+ years dog-sitting experience with dogs of many different sizes and temperaments. Personally I have a 85 pound German Shepherd mix, Turbo, a 40 pound labradoodle, Maple, and an 80 pound Rottie/GSD mix named Tater. I thoroughly enjoy playing with them everyday and have learned many training techniques from raising them. I have a great deal of experience caring for a highly allergic and anxious dog. I pay close attention to Lulu’s reactions to environments, and she communicates in her own way when she’s comfortable or not. In the past, I had to stop taking Lulu to a specific daycare because she would shake with fear/anxiety at drop-off, whine, and try to drag me back toward the entrance to leave. When I pull up to Natalie’s home at drop-off, Lulu whines to get out of the car and practically drags me to door to get daycare started. She greets Natalie so enthusiastically and with so much excitement. That’s the only review I really need. Lulu visits for daycare twice a week now. I appreciate that Natalie gives me regular updates throughout the daycare stay and includes several pictures. After each daycare visit, Natalie provides a handwritten note summarizing Lulu’s day. Lastly, she’s simply a very warm and nice person. I’m glad we found her!”

About: I've lived with dogs my whole life growing up around multiple and even aiding in the birth of a 12 puppy litter into my own family. Which some of those puppies have stayed with us ever since. As well as caring for older dogs as they get into their later years and pass on. I love all kinds of pets either way, from giant wolf dogs my grandfather used to have- to our very own English and French bulldogs that need just as much care as they give in love! I have not has as much experience with cats, but I'm always willing to spend some time with them. Any pet is like part of the family, and they always deserve that love! I currently have a part time job with a changing schedule- however if I am booked at least 2 weeks in advance, I can make sure that I have certain days and times available. A heads up is all I need! I care for pets in others homes just as they would. It can be a big sign of trust to let someone into your home with a pet, and my intention is to leave the way I came in, with the only change being a happy pet!

I've cared for dogs that fit in the palm of my hand to big and strong breeds and I love them all. I'm available for dog/house sitting, walks or drop in visits. I'm a doting Mom who your dogs will love and look forward to seeing. I'm also a capable and respectful house sitter while following your dog's routine or offering new adventures. I've cared for puppies and elderly dogs (including my own) with special needs - administering meds, using inhalers and dealing with limited mobility. PET FIRST AID and DISASTER RESPONSE TRAINING - Sep 2019. In addition, I successfully completed the knowledge and skill evaluations for the Emergency Care & Safety Institute's Course on Pet First Aid and Disaster Response through the San Diego Humane Society. The safety and well being of your dog and home are paramount to me. I'm excited to be providing dog care on a FULL TIME basis. Loving and capable care is provided in your dog's familiar home setting making it the perfect "STAYCATION." Potty breaks are at least every 2 hours. Your dogs will quickly trust in my consistent, gentle and loving care. Because they are my focus, there's always time for play along with exercise and lots of snuggles.
About: I have been dog sitting for about 10 years and have also been working in the dog grooming industry for about 5 years. Love any and all animals! My 8 year old son has also been dog sitting with me since he was a baby and tags along with me a majority of the time. We would love to sit your critters!

I was a little anxious to be leaving my pup with his first Rover on account that he has seizures but Dana took all my worries away. Nacho did not want to come back with us, he loved Dana so much! Not only was she so sweet but she also did a fantastic job grooming my boy. He is so anxious around grooming tools but she was patient and had him looking like a little gentleman. She truly is a gem!”
“Heather did such a great job caring for our 2 fur babies while we were on vacation. When she came over to meet them she brought her hisband which I really appreciated b/c he was going to be present during their stay and I thought that was the best thing to do for the situation. They both reacted well during their visit and I knew right away she was perfect for the job. Heather has an obvious love for animals and made us feel very comfortable with leaving our babies w/ her for a week. She was very proactive with her communications and sent lots of pictures during our time away and very responsive to our communications. She took great care of our fur babies and they were in great condition upon pickup. I can't say enough about how pleased we were with our experience with Heather and will definitely use her every time we have to leave them behind. Five stars for sure!”
