“tl;dr: if you have an anxious dog that is fearful of new people, trust Jamie to take care of your dog! We have a 10 month old puppy who is very anxious around new people and can growl. At the vet, he has gotten muzzled and needs to be sedated for regular visits. Elaine’s pet resort failed our dog within 1 hour of his meet and greet and we had to pick him up because he was “growling and aggressive.” We know that our dog is not aggressive and that he just needed someone who loves dogs and took the time to bond with him and wasn’t unnecessarily fearful of him. Jamie was that person! She is phenomenal! Our dog stayed with Jamie for 10 consecutive days with no problem! Jamie took photos during the entire stay and kept us informed. When his paws started bleeding, she even put little booties on his feet so that he could keep playing outside. Based on the photos she sent and how he acted upon pick-up, I know that our dog had a great time and truly ended up bonding and loving Jamie. Jamie really does have a gift with dogs! It was also great that she had lots of other dogs around for ours to play with and get his energy out. Thank you Jamie!”

I found Casey online, she confirmed she will take a GSD so we arranged a meet and greet first so I could see how my dog was reacting to the environment and other dogs. That went fine, so I booked a 4 night stay recently. I was so pleased with how Casey took care of Pipa, she sent me a photo, gave me updates on how Pipa was doing and everything went really well. About: I've had pets (of many varieties) all of my life. My high school included classes in animal care, my first job was at a pet store, I spent several years fostering dogs and cats for a local shelter, and I've cared for friends and neighbors pets while they were on vacation. I'm currently a substitute teacher finishing up my my teaching degree. I don't teach every day and I substitute 5 minutes from home so I am able to return for lunch. I have a fenced in yard with several different fenced areas. I have a laid back 9-year-old GSD who loves walks and three cats who mostly stay away from new dogs.

About: Hi, I have grown up and taken care of dogs and many other animals , my entire life. My Mom and Dad had a lab who had 14 pups and I grew up with 2 of those puppies, Rowdy and TyTy. After Rowdy passed, at 14 years , we got the first of 2 Rottweilers, Cody Bear and then Brigadier, a 155 lb. teddy bear. Brig thought he was a lap dog, had to finally get him his own love seat! Now, I have my own family. Maya is our Rott. Mix and our first baby! She has been back and forth to Italy with us, on a road trip acoss the U.S. Everywhere we go she's with us. When we lived in Italy, we also had silkie chickens. I have owned rabbits , cats and one of my favorites was a ferret, D'artagnan. Our animals are our family.

About: I have grown upwith pets and have had pets all of my married life. I know how much it means to have someone lovingly care for my pets and to update me on how they are doing when i am away. I am retired and work part time seasonaly as a gardner. I also volunteer weekly at our local SPCA walking and playing with dogs. I walk daily with my own dog and have one cat. I do have a baby under a year old and often will have her with me on check ins and walks. If your animal isn’t good around babies, then it’s probably not a great fit. Your home is a special and sacred place and you can rest assured knowing you will have a trustworthy individual helping you out with your fur babies! I own a cleaning company so I am not a slob and know how to show respect to a home.
