Once there was somewhat of a separation issue for her, but now Mosel is most comfortable with staying, knowing she is in good hands. One couldn't ask for a better 'sitter' than here at Walee's home. Mosel is very happy to stay with her and is well taken care of. Walee sends us daily progress reports and photos of Mosel playing, sleeping, eating and just hanging out with the other dogs. About: I grew up with dogs and had my own in early adulthood, but circumstances have been such that I can't have one of my own right now. That doesn't stop me from loving on dogs! I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including those with special diets. I have a lot of flexibility at the moment and can be sure your dog gets walked early in the morning or in the evening to avoid the heat. I love to walk and will be happy to ensure your dog gets plenty of exercise. I have a fenced yard and no pets of my own. I have a doggy doorbell at the back door that many dogs learn to use when they want to go in or out.

Her house is on a large property that's fully enclosed and in a beautiful gated community in the hills. Whether you have a big dog that loves to run around and interact with other friendly animals or a small dog that prefers to spend time inside close to people, Michelle's house is an awesome place for pets! My dog has major separation anxiety, but instead of stressing out like he normally does when he knows I'm leaving him, Oakley immediately settled in and started exploring the property with one of her dogs right after we got there! I could tell from Michelle's updates and photos that Oakley was really enjoying his time there and felt comfortable he would be well taken care of if he needed to stay even longer in the future. The location of her house turned out to be really convenient and close to where I was going, but even if I'm further away the next time I'm in town and need a sitter, I know that Michelle will be our first choice for sure!”

About: Although we are new dog parents, we recently dog sat two dachshunds and it went great! We love dogs and would like to continue helping fellow dog parents. My husband and I currently both work from home. I work the night shift and he works during the day so there is usually someone always awake with the dogs. We have a fenced backyard, not too big but they can still run in it. My dogs love to play with other dogs and are friendly! We also have two crates if they need to be crated. We would love to do a Meet & Greet prior to committing if that would make you feel more comfortable.
About: I have taken care of dogs for the past 5 years or so by myself. Growing up my parents watched dogs for friends and family every so often. We also had a border collie mix of our own for 15 years and I was responsible for taking care of him. I currently work M-Th; 9am-5pm but fairly free before or after work for walks and playtime. I tend to get up early on work days but a night owl on the weekends. I enjoy getting out on the weekends like going on walks with hikes. I currently do not have fenced in hard but I do have a large grass area right outside my house that is dog friendly and is great for playtime and even doggie pool time.
About: From my family dog growing up, taking care of roommates’ dogs, and now my own sweet Pomeranian, I love spending time with dogs of all ages. My own dog has dietary restrictions and takes medication so I understand that every dog has unique needs. I would love to get to know your dog! I currently have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I’m available for drop in visits and walks between 7am and 8pm Monday-Friday. I am very diligent with pet safety both in the home and out on walks. I can accommodate safety requests such as crating as needed.
About: I have owned dogs since I was 7, ranging from small to large breeds. I have had a love for all animals all my life, and at one point considered a career as a Vet. I have been fostering the last 2 years with German Shepherd dogs as well as puppies. This company is the Sierra Nevada German Shepherd Rescue located in the el dorado hills area. I currently own a golden retriever and a rescued German shepherd/golden retriever mix, who have gotten along with all fostered dogs. I have a large backyard with a pool, and teach each dog basic commands, as well as an education as a dog groomer. There are many trails around my home, and I love to take the dogs for walks or jogs, depending on their energy levels.

“More than once, we have had Walee care for our beloved dog Mosel - a German Shepherd / Great Dane mix. Once there was somewhat of a separation issue for her, but now Mosel is most comfortable with staying, knowing she is in good hands. One couldn't ask for a better 'sitter' than here at Walee's home. Mosel is very happy to stay with her and is well taken care of. Walee sends us daily progress reports and photos of Mosel playing, sleeping, eating and just hanging out with the other dogs. About: I grew up with dogs and had my own in early adulthood, but circumstances have been such that I can't have one of my own right now. That doesn't stop me from loving on dogs! I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including those with special diets. I have a lot of flexibility at the moment and can be sure your dog gets walked early in the morning or in the evening to avoid the heat. I love to walk and will be happy to ensure your dog gets plenty of exercise. I have a fenced yard and no pets of my own. I have a doggy doorbell at the back door that many dogs learn to use when they want to go in or out.

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember. My very first pet was my childhood cat, who I got when I was 2 years old and who lived with me for 17 wonderful years before crossing the rainbow bridge. I’ve always had a special connection with animals and a passion for caring for them.
