“We left our beloved Poodle and Airedale plus another Poodle we were babysitting while we were at a destination wedding in Tahoe. This was a difficult decision for us as our dogs have never ever been left with someone else. We couldn't have been more happy. Beautiful home, Beautiful yard and loving care. My dogs, while confused, were instantly at ease. Kathy sent pictures and updates though out the dogs stay. It was easy on us and easy on the dogs. I would recommend Kathy in a second and if I have the chance to go to tahoe again, I would use her again in a second. “We had to board our 6 month old giant reman shepherd puppy for the first time this last weekend, and my husband was more nervous than he ever was with a sitter for the kids ? I found Sara and saw the number of repeat clients and the way she wrote about her self and her services in the blurb on rover and was sold. We were still a little nervous, as our puppy is very much a puppy, and does not realize that she is nearly 70 pounds! Keeping her down when she’s overly excited is a feat, and she has knocked me off my literal feet multiple time. She is a lot to handle at the best of times, but Sarah assured us it would be no problem. When we arrived, we ran about eight minutes late, and she was so kind and patient with us, despite us bringing a doggy diaper bag that probably could’ve lasted our pup two weeks ? any nerves we had or apprehension quickly dissolved upon meeting her. She sent pictures of Klara having a great time, and the next day when we picked her up, she didn’t want to leave! I would, and have, referred her to everyone I know with a dog. We will definitely be using her services again, Klara misses her already!”

About: As a cattle dog owner, I'd like to think I have a special set of skills for crazy babies. I have always had rescues and fosters in my home. I have been fortunate to work with foster pets from the Caribbean and Mexico as well, each of these often came with health issues. I have experience with pregnant dogs and cats as well! If you are interested in having your pet stay over, know I have a very friendly dog. She has both experienced having guests and foster pets in the house as well. Tolerant and obedient. I have multiple rooms and baby gates for separation and quiet time. In general, I am a very active and outdoorsy person! So i am happy to take the pets out to the trails or the lake! I live on 10 quiet acres with a fenced yard. There is ample space to play outside or be kept safe and warm inside. I work from home 90% of the days so I can provide full time oversight and care. I also work a job where I can take the dogs with me if you approve! I am fortunate to work from home. I have the ability to provide care all day and night for your pet! I walk each morning and evening and have the option to take your pet out for a walk or a play on the property in both fenced and unfenced areas. I have an older dog who is very arthritic so I am used to caring for the elderly animals as well. Pets in my home have their own room if needed. I have plenty of space for crates. I have a large gated deck and live on 10 acres on a quiet road. My own pets walk daily with me along my road which works well for easy elder dog walks as it is shady even in the summer. It also can provide great training ground as there is little traffic. For the high energy babies, we can play fetch or take to the trails nearby. I have always had rescue pitties so I am comfortable with big cuddly babies. I adopted a cattle dog pup who had clinical anxiety which has taught me how to care for highly intelligent, high energy dogs as well. Treats, love, and confidence makes for a happy dog!

We have a sweet 15-year-old Jack Russell named Indie, and I honestly can’t remember a time in my life when I didn’t have a pet. Animals have always been a huge part of our family, and our compassion for them is one of the reasons we chose a vegan lifestyle. I also worked as a veterinary assistant for two years, where I gained hands-on experience caring for pets and supporting their health and well-being. About: Since high school I have had experience with normal pets to the exotic! I can honestly say that each animal is an individual that deserves their specific needs acknowledged and met. I do have experience with senior animals that need medication as well as special needs, there hasn’t been an experience that I haven’t learned from! I’ve even read books like Caesar’s Way in order to better understand my own pets and help them. I’ve even been known to be a bit of a perfectionist although that was in my earlier years now I can gladly say am a seasoned sitter! I am usually free on weekends. I do not take spontaneous trips. All my trips are planned in advance so I can work things around it. I will follow the rules of your house when I am there. If you say "No dogs on the furniture.", then I will make sure no dogs on the furniture. I will adhere to any strict routine you have in place for feeding or walking. We have always had our own pets and we have taken care of other peoples furry family members for years, We have fostered for Homeward Bound Golden Retriever Rescue for the last 25 years. If your pup is used to sleeping on a dog bed, or on the couch, or with people, they can do the same here with us. We won’t change the rules on them. We are well-versed in taking care of dogs with special needs or just simply providing TLC. When we have had fosters, we helped pups recover from surgery, given medications, adjusted pups to family life, trained and more. We just lost our sweet pup Cooper so we don’t have any pets at our house. This might be helpful if you have a dog that likes people all to themselves or if you have multiple dogs. Walks, car ride (wind in their hair) treats, playtime, attention, lounging in the fenced yard are all available. We both work at home so pups don’t have to be alone and can have all of their needs met. Reach out and tell us about your furry family and what they might need while you’re away. We would be thrilled to have them. We can work our schedule around what you furry family needs. Since we Work at hime and there are two of us someone can always be here if needed. We only serve one Family at a time. We don’t have meet and greets while your dog is with us. It’s all about them when they are here. We follow your instructions for walk, food, routines. You can read our references but it might be best to come to the house to meet us and see for yourself. It’s important to feel comfortable so you can relax while you are away. We take extra measures to lock the latch on the gate and use a double door system if we go in and out of the house.

When we arrived, we ran about eight minutes late, and she was so kind and patient with us, despite us bringing a doggy diaper bag that probably could’ve lasted our pup two weeks ? any nerves we had or apprehension quickly dissolved upon meeting her. She sent pictures of Klara having a great time, and the next day when we picked her up, she didn’t want to leave! I would, and have, referred her to everyone I know with a dog. We will definitely be using her services again, Klara misses her already!”

“Danielle is the best! She is friendly, kind & hospitable. We did a meet & greet a few days before my dog’s scheduled drop off. She welcomed us in her home with her dog and we got acquainted. Her home is cute and comfortable. Danielle was a great communicator and even sent me a couple of photos during my dogs stay with her which helped alleviate some of my kids apprehension about our dog being with a new sitter. I know my dog was under the best of care and we will definitely use her in the future. Highly recommended. 💕”

“Samantha went above and beyond to make sure our dog Zassha had a comfortable stay while we were away. We mentioned Zassha could be an anxious dog around new people and other pets , and she made time for a meet n greet walk so they could get to know one another, and we knew right away that our dog would be in great hands! She sent frequent updates while we were away, and communicated promptly throughout. Samantha even took the dogs out on hikes and to the beach, which is so much more than we could ask for, we loved seeing pictures and videos of them playing together! She was also very flexible when it came to picking our dog up, which we appreciated coming back from a road trip. We would love to have Samantha sit Zassha for us again in the future given the opportunity!”
About: Hi there! I’m Barr, a wife and mother with a lifelong love for animals. We have a sweet 15-year-old Jack Russell named Indie, and I honestly can’t remember a time in my life when I didn’t have a pet. Animals have always been a huge part of our family, and our compassion for them is one of the reasons we chose a vegan lifestyle. I also worked as a veterinary assistant for two years, where I gained hands-on experience caring for pets and supporting their health and well-being. As a mom, I’m now looking to earn a little extra income while doing something that truly matters to me—spending time with and caring for animals. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I will treat your pets with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I’m a stay-at-home mom, so my schedule is incredibly flexible. This is one of the reasons why I wanted to start doing this and would be perfect for any spontaneous short or long trips! I have a spacious backyard, but unfortunately, it’s not fenced. To keep our dog, Indie, who is incredibly friendly with all animals, safe, I usually take them for three walks each day. We shower her with cuddles and treats from my husband, our baby girl and I each and every day ☺️
