About: Hello pawrents! Thanks for considering our family. My husband Cesar and I provide in-home dog boarding on a private vineyard in Calistoga, CA. Dogs stay in our home and are integrated into real family life — with structure, supervision, fresh air, and plenty of rest. Our days are simple and consistent: frequent potty breaks, time outside, and daily walks morning and night around the property. We love dogs with big personalities, shy dogs, curious dogs, seniors, puppies — all breeds are welcome. The goal is always the same: a safe, predictable routine where dogs can settle in quickly and feel secure. Harley’s Dog Sitting was inspired by our beloved dog Harley, who shaped the way we approach care — patient, attentive, and respectful of each dog’s personality. That philosophy continues today. For additional details and For additional details and FAQs, we keep everything updated on IG and more. OUR HOME This is a busy, real household with young children and visiting dogs, so we prioritize boundaries and consistency. Dogs are welcome on furniture during the day, but dogs do not sleep in bed with us. We also have a Mini Australian Shepherd rescue, Ginger. She’s a sweet part of our home but prefers distance from new people. You may hear her when you arrive — that’s normal — and we always manage greetings carefully. EXPERIENCE & SAFETY Mandi has cared for dogs for 17 years and has emergency/animal CPR training, plus experience with medications and senior dogs. Cesar has been walking and caring for dogs for years as well. We work remotely, so someone is usually home during the day, but we do not offer constant care — dogs must be comfortable being left alone for a minimum of 2 hours. Insurance note: Rover’s protections apply to Rover bookings. We also carry additional third party insurance. OUR POLICIES (Quick Version) 1. Spayed females only (exception: puppies under 4 months). Unneutered males are welcome. 2. Pick-up & drop-off by appointment only between 8:00am–6:30pm. Please text/call 15–30 minutes before arriving, then text upon arrival. 3. Dogs must be current on vaccinations and on flea/tick + heartworm prevention. Vet records required for new clients. 4. We may post photos from stays on our website/social/Rover. By booking, you agree to photo use. 5. Crates are required overnight and during meals. This supports routine, reduces stress, and is important in the event of an emergency evacuation. 6. Please do not pack toys. (We keep a controlled toy setup here to avoid guarding issues.) NEXT STEP If you’d like to request a stay, click “Contact Mandi M.” and send a booking request through Rover. You can message with questions first — nothing is confirmed until both sides approve the booking. WHAT TO PACK Please bring: food + feeding instructions, leash, and a collar/harness. We provide beds and bowls. If your dog uses a specific crate style/size, you’re welcome to bring it — otherwise we have crates available. Mandi and Cesar work from home full time. This enables us to enjoy spending time with your dog with frequent vineyard views and potty breaks. However if your pet needs constant care, please let us know before booking. We have a large outdoor space at your dog's paws. Between the vineyard and the river, there's a wonderful world to explore! The vineyard is partially fenced, however, we keep dogs on leashes during their outings at all times unless they have reliable recall at the owner’s discretion. In addition to Rover's insurance, we have a 3rd party insurance policy because your dog's care is our priority.
“Siarra took care of our cat for a few days while we were out of town. Our cat is super shy and does not come out for visitors, but Siarra still kept us updated on her food/water/litter situation each day, which was so thoughtful. She was dependable in her visits, and I will definitely hire her again!”

“Lindsay has been amazing over the past couple of weeks - looking in after our Twilight kittie while we had to be away. She has been so communicative, responsive, and caring. We are lucky to have found her.”

“This was my first time using the Rover service for sitting my new cat! I was a bit nervous at first, but now I am incredibly grateful that I chose Luna, who radiates warmth, and went above and beyond while cat-sitting my Bianca. Through the daily status photos, I could see that Bianca was comfortable and having fun. I’m listing Luna as my favorite sitter! :D Thanks again, Luna!!!”

“Barbara is experienced, intuitive, dependable and very caring. Our very picky cat responded well to her and she seemed to know exactly what he wanted or needed. She came twice a day at the times we agreed upon (even over the holidays) to feed him, give fresh water, change litter and take care of whatever else he was accustomed to. And to play with him, a lot! It was our first time leaving him with "strangers" , and of course we were nervous. But it all worked out very well and we were quite pleased with her. We're going to book Barbara again for another trip this year.”

About: My first pet at the age of 5 was a cat, my best friend, Lenard. Followed by Lizzy and another from her first litter named Chaos! I have a soft spot for senior cats. I'll happily provide whatever care they need, sitting and feeding by hand, cleaning the spots they just can't manage or simply letting them take a nap on my chest.
About: I grew up taking care of my family's dogs (feeding, bathing, walking, playing with) and I started cat sitting for neighbors when I was ten. I am currently working a part time job from my home, so I have a lot of flexibility to walk, feed, or watch your pets overnight. I won't be able to board animals in my house but because I have two dogs of my own I understand how precious our animals are and promise to treat your animals with the same love and care I treat mine with.
“Peter was very patient and compassionate with my reactive dog. He has a lot of knowledge and understanding of behaviors and went above and beyond to make her comfortable. He clearly wants to ensure the best possible experience for you and your pet.”

About: I am a dog and cat lover with one dog of my own! I’ve grown up with dogs and cats in my family and have taken care of pets for neighbors and aunts over many years. I’m 19 and currently working part-time and a student at Santa Rosa Junior College, but I still have free time on my hands each week. I’m looking for some extra fun work with animals! My dog at home has a large fenced in backyard and gets walks twice a day. I will cater to the client’s needs based on their pet.
About: I’ve watched hundreds of animals and treated them lovingly and like my own every time; I have 20+ years experience ranging from French bull Dogs, Terriers, Retrievers, Blue Heelers, Huskies, Labs, Pits & Mutts galore. Currently, when I am home, I am available. There are no interferences. I love to walk and hike and do so every day; having a pup of my own is a goal, until then, I’ll enjoy every dog sitting opportunity & treat yours like gold! I will adhere to any ground rules set forth by owner. I do have a fenced yard where I hang out. I also have one older cat who keeps to herself. At least, I walk dogs twice a day that I care for. I do my best to understand their parents rules at home to emulate them in my own, or enforce them in theirs, I.e. dogs not allowed on furniture etc. I enjoy running with pups if they like to as well. I’ll basically love on your dog and care for it as if it were my own.
About: Hey there! I'm a gal who doesn't own a dog (just 3 cats!) who works from home some days of the week and is happy to take care of your pooch! I joke with my friends and family that I'm a kennel for their pups when they go out of town - why not help out other local friends! I have owned dogs my whole life but just don't have the time to own one currently so I'm happy to help out those that need someone to watch their fur baby! We have a wonderful large fenced yard in a quiet part of St. Helena. Your dog can have free access to the home and our fenced in yard. Quiet neighborhood next to vineyards where the pup can play! Happy to help you out - bring on the dogs! I love them all and am a fun and active person who will take wonderful care of your pet ( just ask my friends how obsessed I am with my cats Grover, Fat Freddy & Ralph!!). Thank you! I work from an office most days with the exception of event weekends and some evenings. I do sometimes have to leave during the day but your dog would be in a secure home with us. Fenced yard on the vineyard and close by lots of walking and vineyards. We do have 3 cats so I prefer your dog to be cat friendly or be able to take some hissing from them.

“Michael and his wife, Casey, are super nice people and it's clear they love dogs. I was nervous to leave my labradoodle (for them, not him), as he can bit hyper and quirky with strangers. There were no issues at all and Henri seemed happy and right at home when I came to pick him up. Would give them the highest recommendation!”

“Ashley is a compassionate, calm pet sitter. I scheduled a meet and greet with my dog Piper ahead of day care date. “Lindsay was such a good sitter for my little yorkie boy, Monty Banks! Super caring and attentive, making sure he was happy!! I explained that he is ALWAYS with me and may not be very engaging and just miss his mama, but she took him for an awesome walk and kept him busy and he even snuggled a bit. I was visiting wine country for a girls trip and decided last minute to grab a mud bath…so happy to have someone so special to puppy sit!!!”
About: I’ve had neighbors, friends and family rely on my to take care of their kids and pets since I was about 16 but I didn’t start really doing it a lot until I was about 18 and driving. I’m used to taking care of kids and animals at the same time so just taking care of animals would be pretty easy for me. I currently only work weekends 11:15-5:15pm other than that I’m fully available. I do play in some soccer leagues but I’ll only be gone about an hour and a half of the days I play. I am comfortable putting dogs in crates, picking up after animals, feeding them, letting them out and giving them as much love as they will take lol.

About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. From feeding and walks to playtime and attention, I’m comfortable with all aspects of pet care. Being around animals has helped me understand their different needs and personalities, and I treat every pet like they’re my own! I’m currently a student at Pacific Union College. I’m available for drop-in visits during the week and have open availability on weekends for overnight care. During overnight stays, I will focus on keeping your pets’ routine as consistent as possible, from feeding and walks to playtime and bedtime. I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for, while also keeping your home clean and secure.
About: I've had a way with animals that brings a calming energy throughout my life. As a young child I would call the bulls over and pet them on the head. The rancher would call my grandmother; stating I was on the fence again with the Bulls! Reiki is a way of calming and the energy knows what to do. I've worked with horses who are passing and calmed animals who are scared. Its in my nature to bring the intention of nourishing. loving, care to your pets. I work a flexible schedule as a Massage Therapist which allows me to also care for pets. I have worked with small and large animals from horses, pups ands felines. I follow the routines of the families, keeping the schedules I would want followed when my pets are being cared for. This includes their feeding, exercise, and sleep routines.
About: Your little guy/gal is my priority and will receive all the care and love you can imagine. I pet sit for my family and absolutely love dogs. Lost my little guy about 1 year ago. My one wish is that I could adopt every homeless and neglected dog and bring them home with me. I walk 2 miles everyday and would love a companion. A walk in a beautiful park right up the street from me. Or we could sit here and watch tv all day. I am a retired bachelor with a very flexible schedule. With enough notice I can work around your schedule. Available any day of the week. I have no pets at this time or children. My priority and total attention will be given to your pet’s needs. My place is 1400 sq. feet.

“From the moment we met Peter, we immediately felt at ease. He has a calm, confident energy and quickly tuned in to our boys’ personalities and temperament. Peter asked thoughtful questions and paid attention to the details to make sure he could provide the best care possible. We felt completely comfortable leaving our dogs with him and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”

About: Aloha! My name is Luna and I have 4 dogs. I have experience with training dogs as well. My furry children are all trained by me and they can walk off leash. Animals are my passion. Walking: I love to run with dogs to get my exercise in, but walking is always great! I have walked dogs for 10 years now. Home Visit: I follow directions. Will take the dog/s out to pee and play for a little if needed and give them lots of love. Definitely play with your kitties and get you as many action shots as possible. As well as snuggles. I’m currently a stay at home mama! I have a pretty open schedule. Weekends are always the best for me, but I can do week days if needed. I follow house rules that are given. Due to the fact that I now have an infant I no longer am caring for dogs in the comfort of my home, but I’m more than happy to take your pup on walks or check in on them
About: I grew up taking care of my family's dogs (feeding, bathing, walking, playing with) and I started cat sitting for neighbors when I was ten. I am currently working a part time job from my home, so I have a lot of flexibility to walk, feed, or watch your pets overnight. I won't be able to board animals in my house but because I have two dogs of my own I understand how precious our animals are and promise to treat your animals with the same love and care I treat mine with.

About: I grew up with dogs and recently lost my best friend, a corgi, Teddy. As a long time dog-owner, I understand how much anxiety goes into leaving your dog with someone else. I will treat your dog/s as if they were my own. I have much experience with aging / elderly dogs and dogs with special needs (dogs with leash aggression, anxiety, allergies, and prosthetic limbs/wheel chairs). My goal is to get to know you and your dog, and provide tailored service to meet your wants and your furry loved one's needs. I am happy to provide updates and pictures of our time together too! I work from home and have a flexible schedule. Please reach out if you have any additional questions for me! Thank you! I work from home, which allows for frequent walks, potty breaks and play time! Both the dogs and myself appreciate the breaks within the day! I have a fenced in yard and multiple ring cameras to ensure everyone's safety. Neighboring houses do not have dogs; it is a quiet and peaceful environment.

About: I have been dog sitting and caring for pets for over 10 years. I have always felt such an affinity for animals and I have an extreme amount of empathy for them. Several family friends and relatives have been reliant on me for pet care for as long as I can remember. Sitting, bathing, walking, feeding, you name it I can do it. I currently only work one day a week as a nanny, so I have a very open schedule and would be available most all days. I currently am just looking to sit at clients houses due to my cats territorial issues. I would love to discuss expectations as a sitter/walker and I am very respectful of boundaries made by clients.

About: I’ve been taking care of my families puppy and my own kitten for about 2 years now ! Ive taken care of other peoples dogs in the past as well! I’m efficient and competent. Im currently a college student, so I spend most of my time at home and just in general I’m a home body. So, I have enough time to care and tend to pets and their needs. I’m very attentive to my own cat and families dog. They both have feeding schedules and are potty trained. I’ve taken my time to make them good pets. I’ve showed the same amount of attention and affection to other peoples pets as well.

Archie's overnight was successful. Definitely will contact Cymantha again, when needed. She is wonderful.”
“Tiffany took the best care of our sweet little angel. He's still a puppy at almost five months so can be a handful but she handled him like a champ! She sent great pics and made sure he got out all of his puppy energy! I also think she maybe fell a little in love with our little guy. So that coupled with how happy and rested he came back to us gives us every confidence she will always care for our little monster. We will definitely use Tiffany every chance we get when we need someone to step in and love him the way we do!”
