“Murray had such a nice time with Michael and Casey! He was in good spirits when we picked him up and he also ate while with them (always a sign that he feels comfortable somewhere!). They had another dog boarding while we were there and they played very well together (so much so that Murray slept most of the following day). Thanks so much!”

“Highly recommend Mandi. She provides a great caring home while you’re out tasting wines. Super responsive and even took my dog to an agility course with hers while which was super funny watching a Bassett hound go through the course.”
“I'm so happy that I found Lauren to watch Shifty. She sent photos and videos of my pup having a blast daily. I felt safe on my vacation knowing that Shifty was also having a vacation. Lauren treated her like she was a part of her own family. I will definitely call her again whenever I go out of town!”

“Siarra is the most kind and caring dog friendly person I have met! She keeps me informed with quick updates and photos. I never have to worry about how my pup is because I am in the loop. This is my second time booking with her and I will continue to do so! Highly recommend!!”

“Brandi is amazing at what she does and I couldn't recommend her more! It's clear that her house is a home away from home for all the dogs that stay with her. She sent pictures and videos every day throughout our dog's stay and was always available for any questions we had. Thank you Brandi!”

“Lexi and her family treated our dog as their own, and they truly understand what it means to care for a dog. There was never a worry that Moose wouldn’t get adequate stimulation with the many walks and backyard time spent with this family. The most noticeable difference between Lexi and other sitters was Moose’s energy when we picked him up. He wasn’t full of anxious energy and he seemed like our normal pup. This gives us the peace of mind and then some for any future stays he has with this household.”

“Susan was an amazing caretaker for Ryder this past weekend! She took him on several fun walks and made it feel like a little vacation for him. We loved receiving her updates and adorable photos throughout his stay. Ryder was clearly very well cared for, and we would absolutely love to have Susan help with him again in the future.”

“Caren was great! My dog seemed very happy there and she seemed to take great care of her. Her house is in a nice neighborhood and my dog’s age got a lot of good walks and visits to the dog park, etc. Would definitely recommend Caren!”

“We are incredibly grateful to have Heather D. as our go-to dog sitter! They always go above and beyond to ensure our pup is happy, healthy, and well-cared for. From daily walks to playtime and snuggles, Heather D. truly treats our dog like their own. Their reliability, kindness, and love for animals shine through every visit. Highly recommend!”

“ My two Labradoodles stayrd the Memorial Day weekend with Marion Russo. They had a wonderful time playing with her and her dogs. When I brought them home they were relaxed and tired. I will use Marion's services whenever she is available. A great experience.”

“Hello, I was so comfortable with Lauren She is great, and my puppy dog seemed to love her and her family, She’s never been anywhere with anyone else, but me and I thought from all the pictures that Lauren sent me was that she felt that was her new home! I thought that she totally forgot about me until she did come out, and she was excited to see me! On my next trip I hope that Lauren is available because now I’m spoiled. “Tiffany took the best care of our sweet little angel. He's still a puppy at almost five months so can be a handful but she handled him like a champ! She sent great pics and made sure he got out all of his puppy energy! I also think she maybe fell a little in love with our little guy. So that coupled with how happy and rested he came back to us gives us every confidence she will always care for our little monster. We will definitely use Tiffany every chance we get when we need someone to step in and love him the way we do!”

I was a bit nervous at first, but now I am incredibly grateful that I chose Luna, who radiates warmth, and went above and beyond while cat-sitting my Bianca. “This was my first time using Rover and Lacey was an incredible sitter! I used her for three drop in visits over Thanksgiving and it was such a seamless experience. She communicated updates actively and my kitty loved getting to play with her each morning while we were gone. I highly recommend her and will definitely be using her again!”

“Barbara is experienced, intuitive, dependable and very caring. Our very picky cat responded well to her and she seemed to know exactly what he wanted or needed. She came twice a day at the times we agreed upon (even over the holidays) to feed him, give fresh water, change litter and take care of whatever else he was accustomed to. And to play with him, a lot! It was our first time leaving him with "strangers" , and of course we were nervous. But it all worked out very well and we were quite pleased with her. We're going to book Barbara again for another trip this year.”
About: My calm, compassionate demeanor brings me lots of animal buddies. Lifelong lover of cats and dogs and a curiosity for all other pets and wildlife. I’m a certified California naturalist with a strong understanding of our natural world. I’m a digital nomad so I’m very flexible with my schedule. It’s easy for me to give priority to your pet’s schedule for optimum care. I’m a trustworthy, conscientious person who will treat your home and pets with respect, care and a loving heart. I will do my best to make your pets feel at ease while you are away, and to follow their established routine.
About: I grew up taking care of my family's dogs (feeding, bathing, walking, playing with) and I started cat sitting for neighbors when I was ten. I am currently working a part time job from my home, so I have a lot of flexibility to walk, feed, or watch your pets overnight. I won't be able to board animals in my house but because I have two dogs of my own I understand how precious our animals are and promise to treat your animals with the same love and care I treat mine with.
About: Hey there! I'm a gal who doesn't own a dog (just 3 cats!) who works from home some days of the week and is happy to take care of your pooch! I joke with my friends and family that I'm a kennel for their pups when they go out of town - why not help out other local friends! I have owned dogs my whole life but just don't have the time to own one currently so I'm happy to help out those that need someone to watch their fur baby! We have a wonderful large fenced yard in a quiet part of St. Helena. Your dog can have free access to the home and our fenced in yard. Quiet neighborhood next to vineyards where the pup can play! Happy to help you out - bring on the dogs! I love them all and am a fun and active person who will take wonderful care of your pet ( just ask my friends how obsessed I am with my cats Grover, Fat Freddy & Ralph!!). Thank you! I work from an office most days with the exception of event weekends and some evenings. I do sometimes have to leave during the day but your dog would be in a secure home with us. Fenced yard on the vineyard and close by lots of walking and vineyards. We do have 3 cats so I prefer your dog to be cat friendly or be able to take some hissing from them.
“Peter was very patient and compassionate with my reactive dog. He has a lot of knowledge and understanding of behaviors and went above and beyond to make her comfortable. He clearly wants to ensure the best possible experience for you and your pet.”

About: I’ve watched hundreds of animals and treated them lovingly and like my own every time; I have 20+ years experience ranging from French bull Dogs, Terriers, Retrievers, Blue Heelers, Huskies, Labs, Pits & Mutts galore. Currently, when I am home, I am available. There are no interferences. I love to walk and hike and do so every day; having a pup of my own is a goal, until then, I’ll enjoy every dog sitting opportunity & treat yours like gold! I will adhere to any ground rules set forth by owner. I do have a fenced yard where I hang out. I also have one older cat who keeps to herself. At least, I walk dogs twice a day that I care for. I do my best to understand their parents rules at home to emulate them in my own, or enforce them in theirs, I.e. dogs not allowed on furniture etc. I enjoy running with pups if they like to as well. I’ll basically love on your dog and care for it as if it were my own.

About: Thanks for reading about my pet care. Puppies, Senior & 'special’ dogs and cats are my specialties. Patience & pawsitivity included. I love animals and enjoy giving them time and care. I have a lot of energy and can easily keep up with active pets on walks and during playtime. With over 20 years of caring for others' pets and a lifetime of my own dogs and cats + (including reptile and farm animals) I'm prepared to care for your pet with confidence and patience. ***I have experience with elder pets, and with pets with health challenges. Rx? No problem! Caring for the most vulnerable is one of my specialties, and you can trust that your pet is being cared for with compassion. Upon request: Check-ins/ walks for elder pets & puppies can also include light cleanup, replacement of puppy pads etc. Speaking of PUPPIES! Not all puppies are alike and I take this into consideration when doing a meet and greet or pre-screen video call. The more communication the better so that I can reinforce what is already working with you and your new family member. Nurturing your puppy while helping them learn new behaviors is my bag! Re: ‘Special' pets: Do you have a rescue with mood-swings, a cat that attacks visitors then demands to be hand-fed? A cranky pants senior dog? Or maybe a joyful but jumpy terrier that needs constant, gentle conversation on a walk? Having been a foster pet & rescue animal parent I've had my share of pet personalities- and they’re all wonderful! Some require ‘special’ attention and I’m here to provide that. I work from home and have a great schedule. I started on Rover to get more time with pets after losing my amazing cat that I had for 18 years. It really filled a gap in my life! I’ve met many special animals along the way. My availability is typically flexible- including last minute bookings. I will care for your pet in your home or as part of a concierge service at your hotel, depending on your needs. *in addition to pet sitting, collecting mail, watering plants and other light duties can be arranged. Keeping your pets happy and at ease is my goal.

“Lindsay was such a good sitter for my little yorkie boy, Monty Banks! Super caring and attentive, making sure he was happy!! I explained that he is ALWAYS with me and may not be very engaging and just miss his mama, but she took him for an awesome walk and kept him busy and he even snuggled a bit. The photos were so cute and made me feel safe, as this is only our second time using Rover…what a great experience!! I was visiting wine country for a girls trip and decided last minute to grab a mud bath…so happy to have someone so special to puppy sit!!!”

About: I am an avid dog lover;I have shared my entire life with Dogs and love that i can build a special bond with them. I believe in structure, trust and of course fun! Furthermore, I love spending time outdoors, going on walks/adventures that expand dogs experience and provided needed exercise! My dog traveled all over the world with me, and I wouldn't change it for the world. Finally, I am a professionally trained Chef and love to share my skills & knowledge by cooking for dogs and creating treats that are nutritious, safe and fun; Until the first week of August i am only available from 6 am - 1:30 pm for walks, drop ins and potty breaks. I can do a drop in and potty break after 9 pm as the last break before bed time, if needed. After the week of August, my schedule will be open. I love detailed instructions from pet owners so that I do not disturb their pets routine and standards. I am, however, great at thinking on my feet and understanding dog body language. Additionally, I am experienced in setting up routines as well and following-thru consistently in order to help where it is needed most.

Since I work for myself, I control my schedule so I can accommodate yours! Anyone that knows me knows that I care for my animals like my family! I will care for yours the same way! I’m communicative, organized and will treat your home with the utmost respect!
About: Aloha! My name is Luna and I have 4 dogs. I have experience with training dogs as well. My furry children are all trained by me and they can walk off leash. Animals are my passion. Walking: I love to run with dogs to get my exercise in, but walking is always great! I have walked dogs for 10 years now. Home Visit: I follow directions. Will take the dog/s out to pee and play for a little if needed and give them lots of love. Definitely play with your kitties and get you as many action shots as possible. As well as snuggles. I’m currently a stay at home mama! I have a pretty open schedule. Weekends are always the best for me, but I can do week days if needed. I follow house rules that are given. Due to the fact that I now have an infant I no longer am caring for dogs in the comfort of my home, but I’m more than happy to take your pup on walks or check in on them
“From the moment we met Peter, we immediately felt at ease. He has a calm, confident energy and quickly tuned in to our boys’ personalities and temperament. Peter asked thoughtful questions and paid attention to the details to make sure he could provide the best care possible. We felt completely comfortable leaving our dogs with him and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”

About: I grew up with dogs and recently lost my best friend, a corgi, Teddy. As a long time dog-owner, I understand how much anxiety goes into leaving your dog with someone else. I will treat your dog/s as if they were my own. I have much experience with aging / elderly dogs and dogs with special needs (dogs with leash aggression, anxiety, allergies, and prosthetic limbs/wheel chairs). My goal is to get to know you and your dog, and provide tailored service to meet your wants and your furry loved one's needs. I am happy to provide updates and pictures of our time together too! I work from home and have a flexible schedule. Please reach out if you have any additional questions for me! Thank you! I work from home, which allows for frequent walks, potty breaks and play time! Both the dogs and myself appreciate the breaks within the day! I have a fenced in yard and multiple ring cameras to ensure everyone's safety. Neighboring houses do not have dogs; it is a quiet and peaceful environment.
About: Dogs are just happy here, I have great regulars and most of the pictures are of happy dogs in my lap. This is a safe, home away from home, for your dogs. Dogs feel like they are on vacation, where they get to play with their friends. We have Twenty four years of experience, I ran a poodle kennel for ten years. I have always had dogs, and cats I am not against reptiles. We always have full-time people at home twenty four hours, day and night. We can provide indoor -outdoor or private rooms for dogs or cats. I have a fenced yard, a park across the streetvwith fenced areas for off-leash play, and a grassy yarea behind my home. Every thing is safe and secure.
About: I’ve taken care of pets varying all sizes, puppies kittens and more. I am very easy going and I can watch pets for hours to days depending on preferences. I’m a great communicator and will send photos of pets if asked for ;) I do not have a job right now so my priority is pet care currently. So I will put your pets first and I have a very flexible schedule. I follow all rules specifically and I understand everyone’s privacy and preferences. If there are specific rules or guidelines to follow I will respect them.
About: I've owned at least one pet consistently since I was 5 years old. I was a pre-vet major when I started college, have worked in veterinary offices, volunteered at the humane society and have been pet sitting for years. I absolutely adore animals and love having them around. I work full time from home and share custody of my son and my dog who are with me (about) every other week. Both my dog and my son love animals are are very friendly, kinda and loving to all pets and they both love to play with other dogs! I have a cat at home as well who is dog friendly and sometimes plays with my dog or will hide when not in the mood. Pet care is a daily routine for me. We'd love for your furry friend to join our walks and home for lots of fun and play while you're away! I take great pride in learning what makes your pets the most comfortable while you're away. If you prefer me to stay in your home that is of course the least stressful for your furbaby. If you prefer I host your furbaby(s) at my home, my cat and dog (depending on the time you book) will keep them company and have lots of play time and snuggles! I have a small fenced yard but nearby dog parks and homemade treats! Because I work from home dogs are given daily walks and several opportunities to go to the bathroom outside. If a dog goes to the bathroom in the house repeatedly, a $150 cleaning fee will be added to your booking. I make every effort to work with you and the dog to prevent this but if it continues the fee will be added to your stay.

About: Hey, I’m Chappy! Christopher is my legal name… I specialize in walking / caring for large dogs and working breeds, but am happy to work with all breeds and sizes. I have worked with high-energy, reactive, less than sociable dogs too, giving them the physical and metal fulfillment they need. I personally have two larger dogs, Count (German Shepherd Husky mix, 110lbs) and Bentley (German Shepherd Dutch Shepherd mix, 80lbs). I’ve also worked with a range of breeds from pugs to golden retrievers to Alsatian shepherds to American bull dogs. I’m a freelance, work from home marketer, so I’m pretty much always at home and available to take care of dogs, or am able to come to you and take your pup out. We live on roughly 8 acres in Sonoma County, so there is plenty of room at our home for dogs to run and explore. I have two friendly German Shepherd mix dogs that love having friends over. We also have a secure deck that the dogs loving sunbathing on and watching the world go by. I can crate your dog, if need be (we have a crate / room for crates), along with the ability to keep dogs separate if need be. Should your dog use a e-collar of any sort, I’m trained in properly using them, as both of my dogs are trained to them. If your dog loves to hike, we regularly go for hikes on the trails around Sonoma County, or to Dillon Beach to run around off leash.

“Stacie was so communicative, friendly, and understanding. She sent me pictures daily of my girl, and was so kind in all of her messages. Her family is incredibly loving. I can’t wait for her to watch my girl again in the future because I know that she’s in capable and safe hands!”

I didn’t have to worry about her at all.. Thank you, Lauren so much for everything And I hope to see you soon Dina & princess Daisy !”

“I booked with Earl super last minute so I really appreciated him getting back to me and watching Norma. She stayed for one night and seemed very relaxed when I got her back which I thought was awesome. Earl sent me some photos of her during her stay to keep me updated. Will definitely book again :)”

“Marina hosted Kora for one day and Kora fell in love with her. She is a very friendly and nice person . Kora enjoyed her stay at Marina’s house playing with other dogs. Thank you, Marina.”

“Katy is a fabulous sitter! Even though she had a busy weekend, she bent over backwards to make sure Pippin was a good fit with her sweet dog, Vision, and would be comfortable in her home. She was friendly and hospitable to us, and loving and attentive to Pippin. She will be our go-to sitter from now on!”

“Angela took absolutely fabulous care of River while I was away! From chicken dinners, trips to the dog park for fetch, and even adventures downtown for pup cups. River was a happy dog and loved every minute with her. I would absolutely trust Angela again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing Rover sitter!”

“I was confident in Crystal’s care of Macy after our meet and greet. Good communication and seemed knowledgeable and skilled in caring for dogs. My dog has anxiety and Crystal did a good job managing that and adapting care as needed.”

“Lauren and Kari were very professional and did an exceptional job taking care of my boy. We were updated daily along with pictures which was most appreciated. This has put our mind at ease as we will be leaving on a multi week trip and feel 100% comfortable leaving our boy in their care.”
