“Allen is the first person I’ve ever used on Rover. I started with one daycare, then one overnight and then proceeded to a 2 week stay for my 12 yo dog. I was very nervous bc she had never stayed with anyone who wasn’t family. Every time I picked her up and then dropped her off, I very carefully observed her behavior. She always wagged her tail and jumped right into him for scratches and would expose her belly for rubs. That made me feel comfortable. My dog is a fiery girl and nips if she is bothered. I warned Allen of her finicky senior behavior and he said she was overall fine. I provided him a notebook full of information but the most important was her medicine and he and his wife handled it like I asked. I would definitely ask Allen and his family again if we need another dog sitter. He sent pictures daily and responded very quickly. Thank you Allen!”

“Great experience. The meet and greet went well and I felt at ease when I brought my little rescue yorkie to meet Angelicas 2 dogs. They were playful and easy going. She was kind with a very positive and honest vibe that convinced me she was the right choice for this 3 day stay. Her daughter is not only a dog lover but treated her dogs and Oxford gently and with love. Those are the important things that any dog sitter should have especially with small breeds. Without me even mentioning it, she knew that she would feed Oxford in a calm and dog free environment so he could eat without distractions. About: I grew up around dogs. I cannot remember a time in my life in which I did not own a dog. I love dogs with all my heart. Friends and family have always trusted me with their fur babies to dog sit and care and love them. I am also usually tasked with training their dogs to do basic commands. I have a couple years of experience volunteering at my local animal shelter, and even have an adorable Valley Bulldog mix as a result of volunteering. About: My family had puppy dog named Hazel who we had for about 3 years. I used to play fetch with her in the backyard when I’d come home from school when I was around 10. I’d help with baths, walking her, my mom taught me how bring her inside when I was home alone doing homework, she behaved great and protected me well. I’ve always loved animals and give pets to dogs whenever I have permission to, my best friend has many dogs so when I go over her house, I get all the cuddles and get drooled on, which I’m used to at this point. I love watching dog training videos and educating myself as I get older so when I finally get a dog again, as an adult, I want to be prepared and educated on how to protect their health, feed them properly and keep them safe with proper nutrition, exercise and training. I would personally love to get myself a Doberman or German Shepherd (Like Hazel was). I often go to my aunts house who has multiple chunky french bulldogs and help her in anyway I can, I enjoy how sweet dogs are and would love to help do any training techniques you’d love your little doggo to be working on while you are away. I am also in the process of my goal of losing 100lbs! So this helps me get the exercise I need while doing something I’m passionate about! Weekday and Weekends for now, preferably during the Morning & Afternoons on Weekdays and anytime as long as there is a day notice beforehand so I can clear my schedule just for your pet. Not currently doing pet sitting or boarding at my own home, maybe I will be more likely to in the future but I’m not sure yet.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets since I was 15! I’ve watched guineas, chinchillas, dogs, cats - I’d love to meet yours! :) I’m available to watch pets at all hours of the day - I live on a wide property with lots of room for running! :) With any pet I make sure they get lots of attention, patience and outside time. “Allen is the first person I’ve ever used on Rover. I started with one daycare, then one overnight and then proceeded to a 2 week stay for my 12 yo dog. I was very nervous bc she had never stayed with anyone who wasn’t family. Every time I picked her up and then dropped her off, I very carefully observed her behavior. She always wagged her tail and jumped right into him for scratches and would expose her belly for rubs. That made me feel comfortable. My dog is a fiery girl and nips if she is bothered. I warned Allen of her finicky senior behavior and he said she was overall fine. I provided him a notebook full of information but the most important was her medicine and he and his wife handled it like I asked. I would definitely ask Allen and his family again if we need another dog sitter. He sent pictures daily and responded very quickly. Thank you Allen!”
