About: I'm Rachel, a writer with a flexible schedule and a love of all things canine. I live with my husband, and my chocolate Labrador retriever, Ellie, in our West Shore cabin near Homewood. I signed up for Rover because dog sitting helps me get my fix for having a doggy harem. I would love to shower your dog with attention and affection. I volunteer at the local humane society, so I'm very adept at adapting to your dog's needs. I particularly love active dogs, and I'm happy to take your pup on hikes and swims in the lake. I'm also happy to hang out and have a more relaxing day with older, less active pups. Ellie (13) is very well-socialized, and she gets along well with dogs of all sizes. I work from home with a very flexible schedule, so I’m always happy to go out for a walk or a hike. Ellie, my 13-year-old Lab, is always up for meeting a new dog friend. Daycare Rates & Information: Daycare is up to 8 hours of care. Anything longer than that time, please book a boarding stay. Drop-offs anytime after 8 a.m. Pickups before 8 p.m. Although there is a nice buffer of woods near my house, the yard is not fenced (hopefully soon). I’ll be sure to keep your pup on a leash just in case! There’s an enclosed deck for sunbathing and watching chipmunks.

Time is as precious as the angels by our side, and I’ll treat your pup like my own. For your peace of mind, I maintain an active Wilderness EMT certification, and my trail kit always includes canine-specific tourniquets and first aid. Flexible schedule. We prefer early, especially before a summer crowd, so that there is some safe space for everyone to run off leash and feel the freedom we all deserve. Many family members have trusted me with their dogs while they are out of town and I always love getting to spend quality time with their pets and comforting them while they’re missing their humans. I also had cats and kittens for a brief time when I was younger and I absolutely loved them! Each animal is unique and I love getting to know them! I have always felt a deep connection to all animals and recently earned a degree to work in wildlife conservation to help as many animals as I can! My husband is a rancher and contractor so one of us is typically home there are times of course when we leave but everybody is locked up safe and sound and they are also welcome to take the car ride with us should we need to run some errands. if it’s important that nobody ever leaves your baby, we can make that accommodation as well. We have a 12 x 24 kennel with multiple dog houses we have kennels of different sizes. We also have a barn with 12 x 12 stalls. We have a fenced in deck that is 30 x 50 so there are many opportunities for your baby to be outside in the fresh air And still be safe. If your dog is an inside dog, we will keep him inside with us and he will be warm and cozy at bedtime.

About: I grew up in a home filled with animals, so caring for furry family members has always come naturally to me. During the 7+ years I lived in Philadelphia, I taught at a large charter school and began house and pet sitting on the side for fellow teachers and staff. Over the years, I had the privilege of caring for so many sweet furry babies, including pets who needed extra attention, medication, and around-the-clock care. I truly grew attached to many of them and missed them dearly when my Philly chapter came to a close in 2024. Today, I proudly call Sacramento home and am excited to share that same love and care with a new community of pet friends! I’m a firm believer that animals can see and feel the energy of humans in ways we sometimes cannot. I lead with warmth, patience, attentiveness, and genuinely good energy…and animals tend to pick up on that pretty quickly. I’ve yet to meet a furry friend who didn’t eventually warm up to me. 😊 I’m especially comfortable caring for pets who need a little extra support, including administering medications, following detailed routines, and providing consistent care throughout the day or night. I work best with thoughtful pet parents who deeply care for their animals, their homes, and the energy within both. When you book with me, you can expect plenty of LOVE, communication, respect for your space, and most importantly…ACCOUNTABILITY. 💛 I work remotely and have plenty of time to share with your furry family members. I love nature and take many walks/hikes as a form of self care. About: I have had animals my whole life. I currently have dogs and cats. Responsible for caring for multiple neighbors' pets. I walk the dogs daily. References available upon request. I am a dog person through and through. I love to take the dogs for walks. My life already fits around dogs very well. I take 2 walks per day. I have a large fenced back yard. I have beds around the house for the dogs. I have a crate available. I feed at 7am and 5pm.

About: I'm Rachel, a writer with a flexible schedule and a love of all things canine. I live with my husband, and my chocolate Labrador retriever, Ellie, in our West Shore cabin near Homewood. I signed up for Rover because dog sitting helps me get my fix for having a doggy harem. I would love to shower your dog with attention and affection. I volunteer at the local humane society, so I'm very adept at adapting to your dog's needs. I particularly love active dogs, and I'm happy to take your pup on hikes and swims in the lake. I'm also happy to hang out and have a more relaxing day with older, less active pups. Ellie (13) is very well-socialized, and she gets along well with dogs of all sizes. I work from home with a very flexible schedule, so I’m always happy to go out for a walk or a hike. Ellie, my 13-year-old Lab, is always up for meeting a new dog friend. Daycare Rates & Information: Daycare is up to 8 hours of care. Anything longer than that time, please book a boarding stay. Drop-offs anytime after 8 a.m. Pickups before 8 p.m. Although there is a nice buffer of woods near my house, the yard is not fenced (hopefully soon). I’ll be sure to keep your pup on a leash just in case! There’s an enclosed deck for sunbathing and watching chipmunks.

They took Roo on multiple adventures on her short 24 hour stay and consistently sent me photos and updates. About: We hit the trails daily and have plenty of safe, secure space to exercise your pup. I'm currently taking on some gig work to supplement my grad school aid as I finish my degree. Time is as precious as the angels by our side, and I’ll treat your pup like my own. For your peace of mind, I maintain an active Wilderness EMT certification, and my trail kit always includes canine-specific tourniquets and first aid. Flexible schedule. We prefer early, especially before a summer crowd, so that there is some safe space for everyone to run off leash and feel the freedom we all deserve. Selectively accepting a few well mannered companions. We'll keep a good eye. I have a couple spare tracking collars if that is a concern for off leash activity.
About: I have dedicated my life to the car of animals. I have been training dogs for 30 years. I have been involved with animals for my whole career. I own a Dogtraining company so my whole daily and weekly routine revolves around caring for and training dogs. From the moment I wake up until I go to bed, I am caring for dogs I care for pets with a loving touch. I want your pet to enjoy itheir stay here at my house. We can accommodate most situations.
