“Christie and Michael took great care of our 90 lb GSD Charlie for 5 days during a heatwave. They let her cool off in the pool with their kids and made sure she stayed safe, fed, etc. We got really lucky finding this family to help us, you can tell they have a lot of experience with animals and keeping them all safe. Our Charlie had some anxiety being left at a new place, and they communicated with us through the week with how things were going. Thanks again so much for keeping Charlie at your home this past week on your little farm and with the rest of your animals. “Everything was outstanding. We left our dogs off with Rebecca and her husband and got on the road. They sent us many pictures and a video they took over the time our dogs stay with them. Rebecca and her husband have several dogs, cats and horses at their very nice home and our dogs seemed to have enjoyed their stay. Our dogs were kept together, as I am sure the separation from us caused them to have questions, etc. and keeping them together most likely eased the stress on our dogs. Our dogs were taken on a walk and paid attention to. I am sure our dogs appreciated that (in their own way). We would highly recommend these folks as everything was just outstanding. We don't travel too much, but when we have to travel again, we will look here first for someone to take care of our dogs as we feel our dogs got very good care. About: Animals are my thing. I have dogs, cats, chickens, birds, and sheep, many who are rescues, and I love them all. I have been taking care of animals ever since I was a young child and thought about becoming a vet, but I became a teacher instead. About: I’m a full time registered veterinary technician. I’m mostly available during the weekend. During the week I’m available after work on the weekdays. I have four animals in my home, two dogs, two cats, and sometimes fosters. animals in general are my passion. I’d rather much spend my days with animals than anything else. About: I live in a house with 2 acres of fenced in backyard. Have two cats and a 9 month old spayed puppy. Large dogs will have ample space to run around. “Everything was outstanding. We left our dogs off with Rebecca and her husband and got on the road. They sent us many pictures and a video they took over the time our dogs stay with them. Rebecca and her husband have several dogs, cats and horses at their very nice home and our dogs seemed to have enjoyed their stay. Our dogs were kept together, as I am sure the separation from us caused them to have questions, etc. and keeping them together most likely eased the stress on our dogs.
