“Lisa and Brent were absolutely wonderful! I think my dog Onyx was living his best life with them. They took him on several walks and sent photos everyday to let me know how he was doing. About: I have experience with many different types of animals. I have cats, dogs, a snake, a lizard, snails, and fish. I also lived on a farm and have experience with farm animals. I am good at training dogs and have experience with animal's medication management. My dog has an anxiety disorder, and one of my cats had an intense medical scare which required medication three times a day. Work to provide the best for all my animals, and I'll work to provide the best for yours as well. I currently work part-time during the days. There is never a time where my house is unsupervised for more than a few hours at a time to go out and eat or run errands. With my dogs, I typically crate them when I leave to prevent them from causing problems like digging in the trash, but that is up to your discretion for your animal. I live in a house in a nice, quiet neighborhood. I have a fenced in yard that my two dogs frequently run around in. I have a small inflatable pool for the animals to play in during the heat. I will take care to attend to each animal's individualized needs, so if your dogs needs to be crated at certain times or has specific triggers please let me know.

“Chelsea was great with our cat! She was also very flexible and responsive, especially considering the short notice for our booking and the fact that we were traveling during a holiday week. We came home to a very content kitty.”

“This is our 3rd time booking Jazmine. I had no doubts during the 3 weeks she was doing 2x a day visits for our 4 cats that she was doing an amazing job taking care of our kitties! She spent plenty of time playing with them, cleaning their litterbox and water fountain, and also went above and beyond with keeping our home tidy while we were away. One of our new cats is really shy but warmed up to Jazmine and started playing! When we had an ant infestation, she was willing to come during the times our pest control could make it so she could help make sure the cats were put away. I’m so glad we found Jazmine and have someone we know we can trust to provide great care to our cats when we’re away! It’s always such a relief coming home with everything taken care of and happy cats. Will definitely continue rebooking, thanks Jazmine!”

“She took amazing care of my sphynx, Noodle. I’m nervous about someone I don’t know watching him but I felt so comfortable and knew Noodle was in good hands. 100% will book again!!”

“An excellent experience with my two cats; Carrington knows how to handle them according to their specific needs and preferences. When I returned, they were in great shape and had been very well cared for. Highly recommended 😊”

“Holly took the best care of my two cats who both require meds in the mornings and evenings. She won over their hearts and trust so that insulin injections, pills and syringe meds all went well, with lots of snuggles and playtime. Thank you so much, Holly! 🐾🐾”

“Christina provided excellent care for our cat while we were on a two week vacation. She left our home in impeccable condition and even put fresh sheets on our bed. She communicated clearly and regularly. She sent pictures of our fur baby while we were away because she knew that we missed him. We highly recommend Christina.”

“Chelsea did a superb job taking care of our cat Lily. She was always punctual making sure Lily had her breakfast on time. Her daily reports were detailed leaving us assured Lily had been taken care of. Her loving care for animals in obvious. I highly recommend Chelsea!”

“Mooney is the best! He was so attentive, playful, and my pets loved him! He was very easy to communicate with and also took adorable photos of my cats during his visit. I will definitely use his services again in the future.”

“Morgan was so wonderful! Needed a mid day drop-in for my senior dog. Reached out with only a day or so notice (my fault) and Morgan was able to help no problem! Always nice to have a sitter in the area you can count on and trust, Morgan is definitely on my list ᵕ̈”

“Sierra and Seth, both watched our giant dogs today! They did several drop-ins and made sure the dogs needs were very well met at each one. They are also very communicative, which was so important because we have a large dog with reactivity issues and behaviors. Sierra and Seth were very responsive to our dog's needs, and willing to adjust and adapt when our reactive dog needed different kinds of support. We would love for them to sit for us again and their help was irreplaceable!”

About: Although I’ve never had a cat of my own, I’ve grown up visiting, watching, and caring for cats in my neighborhood! I have extensive experience checking in on and pet-sitting the cats of my neighbors. I’ll treat your cats & kittens like my own, giving them complete, dedicated care and respect. I look forward to meeting and caring for your cats! :)

“Very kind and communicative! Stayed with our pups in a hotel while we went to a family wedding. Felt very confident leaving our semi anxious dogs in her care. Highly recommend!”

“Jenna was perfect. After a long bout with kitten health care issues, it was very relieving to hear someone use the familiar language of a health care professional. She knew what to look out for and how best to manage the several potential issues she might face. We were fortunate - no issues surfaced - but we slept well on our trip knowing the cats would be okay had something happened. She treated our cats, our house, and our quirky needs as cat owners with respect - which is all you can ask.”

About: I have taken care of cats for many years and am very much a cat person. I have experience with cats of any age, from kittens to seniors. I have experience giving medication to cats, training cats (my own cat knows several commands and I am willing to work with your cat on some as well if you’d like!), as well as the general feeding, playing with, and grooming cats. I have taken care of breeds of all kinds with different needs, as well as cats requiring daily medications or with special needs.

“Valerie was amazing! We reached out just one day before we needed someone to watch our dog, Choco, and she was incredibly accommodating. She was very flexible with both drop-off and pick-up times, which made everything so much easier for us. Throughout Choco’s stay, she kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear from the pictures that he was happy, comfortable, and having a great time with her. We’re very grateful for the excellent care she gave Choco and wouldn’t hesitate to trust her again. We highly recommend Valerie to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and communicative pet sitter!”

“Johnna took such great care of Luna. I felt completely comfortable knowing she was in good hands. We received pictures and updates that kept us feeling confident in her care. Thank you Johnna!”

“Kathleen was able to modify our two walks and turn it into a day stay so Coco wouldn’t be alone all day. Kathleen is reliable and conscientious. Coco took to her immediately & looks forward to her walks and rides around town (when it’s too hot to do anything else). Feel so fortunate to have someone like Kathleen take care of my Coco as if she were her own.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Leslie. She is the perfect dog sitter. Leslie was so kind and patient with my very sweet but somewhat timid little maltipoo. She has her home set up perfectly for dog care and is very flexible in meeting the needs of the dogs she watches. Her back yard is lovely and very secure. I highly recommend her.”

“Matt was absolutely fantastic Very responsive and accommodating. Professional and friendly. Highly recommended Gerty & Wally we’re excited to play with Matt and his adorable dog Kobe. They were both happily exhausted when I picked them up. We will definitely rebook for future needs”

“We’ve booked Grisel several times and will continue to rebook! She has gone above and beyond to provide exemplary care for my Otter boy (lending him a doggy sweater when it’s cold outside and successfully flushing his eyes with his eye wash during allergy flare-ups). I can rest easy knowing that he is in her care.”

“Absolutely amazing! Dan always goes above and beyond to take great care of Kamora. He’s reliable, caring, and communicative. He always makes sure she feels comfortable and well cared for. I’m so grateful!”

About: Hi! My name is Faith Tupin and I am a substitute Paraeducator in the Davis school district, babysitter and grad school student. I grew up on a ranch with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and sheep. I have volunteered at my local animal shelter off and on for a few years and was in 4-H for many years. I have experience with extremely large dogs to tea cup chihuahuas, three legged dogs, dogs needing end of life care (medication administration, pet inhalers), puppies who haven’t been house trained and even service animals. I was taught how to do CPR on dogs even though i’ve never had to put my skills to use. I am active and I love long walks. I am also very clean and will make sure your house looks great when I leave. I currently am working part time and am also able to make my own schedule. This allows me to be flexible and take on additional responsibilities. I always talk to the owners to ensure that I am following their routine and keeping an eye out for any bad habits the dog may have- chewing on cords, digging by fences. I am aware of what food is toxic to dogs and never leave it out. I avoid other dogs on walks and look out for unknown food on the sidewalks that they may be tempted to eat.
“Brittany is amazing! For one, she is very flexible and has been a life saver with squeezing in last minute walks for my dog, Frosty 🐾 but most importantly I can tell Frosty genuinely has a great time with Brittany. Nothing better than receiving photo updates of Frosty and seeing that he is happy and comfortable around Brittany 😊”

About: I’ve always loved animals of all kinds. Insects, reptiles, rats, especially cats and dogs. I’ve also volunteered at the ASPCA for a year! I have experience with almost all animals, and I’d love to help take care of yours! I take care of two pets of my own, but currently don’t have a stable job. My days are open! Might as well do what I love and get payed for it. XD I have a calm smaller dog, and a cat who LOVES dogs (she’s strange I know). I live right next to a huge park and walking trail.
“Oreo and I so appreciate Amanda and Hector’s help during these beginning weeks of the new school year! I know Oreo looks forward to going on his lunch potty breaks with Hector where he can sniff to his heart’s content. 🐕 💜 🥰 We truly appreciate Hector’s flexibility when he comes a bit earlier some days due to the hotter weather or Oreo’s needs. We will definitely be requesting Amanda & Hector again!”

I make it a high priority that pet owners & their fur babies feel safe, comfortable & confident with me. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend! ☺️ I have availability Friday - Sunday. I like to make sure pets & their owners feel safe with me. I always make sure I’m keeping up with routines, diet, exercise, etc. Respecting animals and their homes is a top priority for me. “Aicha was really great with our very senior dog. she got him out and walking and he seemed very happy to be in her company. I'm glad she was free to take care of him while we were at work.”

About: I have lived with pets all my life and have over 6 years of professional experience in all kinds of animals (including but not limited to) birds, reptiles, and amphibians. I have 1 green cheek conure, 1 desert tortoise, 2 cats, and 1 dog myself. I can medicate your animals, but also help with training, exercise, grooming, and other enriching or basic husbandry care. I’ve recently moved to Woodland to help my sister with her kids, which leaves me some time for myself but not enough for a full time job. That’s where pet sitting comes in for me. Animal care is an important thing to me, and I love to know I’m helping your pet live their best life. Most pets will be comfortable in their own home so I can make house trips at least twice a day, perhaps more depending on where you are located respective to me. If you’d like me to take your little one into my own home, we can talk about it and go from there :)

About: I've had the pleasure of loving and taking care of furbabies of all sizes for 20 years. I first started pet sitting for an acquaintance in 2005. Later, when I became established in the area as a trusted house cleaner, I started pet sitting for some of my clients and their friends. Sadly, I lost all my clients and contacts save one in the Camp Fire as my client base was in Paradise and Magalia. Since then, I have taken care of my own little furbabies and ever so often cared for the Chihuahua/Pug/Terrier mix of the one remaining client from Paradise. Within the years that I was actively pet sitting, I took care of dogs of all sizes from Chihuahuas to Whippets. I am excited to once again assist you with your pet sitting needs and ensure the best attention is given to your dog’s health, happiness, and well-being! For my clients in Paradise and Magalia, I did both drop-ins and overnight stays. (My favorite memory was staying with two little lovely Dachsies for three weeks!) I made sure each pet I took care of was fed as per the instructions given to me and that they had access to fresh, clean water. Whether it’s maintaining a regular meal routine or making sure your pet stays hydrated throughout the day, I prioritize comfort and health for all furbabies in my care. I also have experience administering medications, whether oral or topical, and am dedicated to ensuring your pets specific medical needs are met with precision and care. I know personally the importance of a vet's instructions and the proper maintenance of a consistent medication routine. I also know the importance of exercise in keeping a pet happy and healthy. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll or a more vigorous activity, I am happy to ensure that your pet gets the exercise and playtime they need! Above all, each dog that I have taken care of I have treated as part of my family. I look forward to providing your furbaby with the same love, attention, and care that I have given to my past clients and to my own pets! My schedule has changed and is more open during the work week. I currently have a day job between the hours of 12:30PM and 2:30PM, Monday through Friday. My hours can be flexible with this day job. I am available early morning and some evenings during the work week. My schedule changes, on occasion, in the evenings Monday through Friday. My weekends are fully free and am available for pet sitting, dog walking and drop-ins all day on Saturday and Sunday. For any pet in my care, whether it has been a client's pet or my own, I have always ensured that they have gotten plenty of love and quality care. For past clients, I adhered to all instructions given pertaining to feeding time, exercise and medications if applicable. I made sure there were plenty of cuddles and that every pet in my care felt safe and secure.
“Despite not feeling well, Jennifer still showed up to make sure my dog got walked. She makes sure my dog gets as much movement as my stubborn dog is willing to participate in and plenty of pets. My dog really enjoys her time with Jennifer and I'll definitely book again.”

About: Hi! I'm Susi, and my goal is to make your time away as stress free as possible, for both you and your pets. My experience comes from being a lifelong dog owner and understanding firsthand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else's care. I know that every dog has their own routine, comfort level, and quirks that make them who they are. That’s why I focus on providing personalized care for one family at a time, creating a calm and comfortable environment where your pet can feel safe and loved. I know how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone new, so I'll keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages, giving you peace of mind while you're away. I'll follow your instructions carefully, from feeding schedules and medications to favorite toys and bedtime routines, so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible. When your pet stays with me, they'll receive the same love, patience, and care I'd want for my own family. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine, and I’ve structured my schedule so every pet in my care receives consistent attention, companionship, and supervision. I’m home everyday of the week and have plenty of time for walks, potty breaks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, and maintaining your pet’s normal routine. I attend school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-12pm and 6pm-9pm, but someone is always home, so your pet will never be left alone for long periods. Because I only care for one family’s pets at a time, I’m able to give them focused, personalized care instead of dividing my attention between multiple bookings. My goal is to keep their routine as familiar and stress free as possible so they feel safe, comfortable, and truly at home. In my home, I provide a calm, comfortable environment where pets can settle in and feel like part of the family. I have a large, fully fenced yard for supervised potty breaks, playtime, and outdoor enrichment, along with a quiet dog park just a few blocks away that is usually empty. I only use the park when it is appropriate for the individual dog and with the owner’s permission. I also have a dog (Jayda) of my own who is friendly, calm, and respectful of other dogs’ boundaries. I always prioritize safe introductions and closely monitor interactions so every pet feels comfortable. If a visiting dog is not comfortable around other dogs, my home has separate rooms and spaces where pets can be safely kept apart whenever necessary. Their comfort and safety always come first. Because I care for one family at a time, I can give each pet personalized attention and follow their usual feeding, walking, medication, playtime, and bedtime routines as closely as possible. For care in a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the home itself. During drop-ins or house sitting, I provide fresh food and water, potty breaks, litter box or yard cleanup, medication when needed, playtime, affection, and any other care instructions provided. For walks, I focus on safety, exercise, and letting each dog move at a pace that suits their age, energy level, and comfort. No matter the service, I send regular photo and message updates so owners can feel confident knowing their pet is safe, comfortable, and receiving attentive care.
About: Dogs have always been family to me. When I care for your dog, I treat them with the same patience, respect, and affection that I give my own. I am a dog trainer with experience using positive reinforcement, reading canine body language, and building trust with dogs as individuals. My experience comes from years of hands-on care, training my own dogs, including my service dog, volunteering with rescues and shelters, and learning from every dog I have had the privilege to know. What makes my care different is that I pay attention to the little things. I am someone who notices changes in behavior, possible ear concerns, nail or coat issues, discomfort, or anything unusual that an owner should know about. My goal is not just to supervise your dog, but to truly care for their well-being and communicate with you. I have experience with dogs of many sizes, breeds, and personalities, from small dogs around 4 pounds to large dogs over 90 pounds. I have cared for bully breeds, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Goldendoodles, Poodles, rescue dogs, senior dogs, and dogs with special medical needs. Caring for my own Golden Retriever with myasthenia gravis and megaesophagus taught me the importance of patience, careful routines, and individualized care. I also have grooming experience, including bathing, brushing, nail trims, ear cleaning, and coat maintenance. I enjoy helping dogs feel comfortable and cared for. When appropriate, I love adding personal touches, such as sending dogs home with a toy or making homemade treats. I always check for allergies and dietary needs first to make sure everything is safe for your dog. I believe dogs need both physical exercise and mental enrichment. Depending on the dog, our day may include walks, fetch, training games, agility activities, puzzle toys, and playtime designed around their personality and energy level. My home is a dog-friendly environment where I focus on safety, comfort, and making dogs feel at home. Since I have a senior service dog, I take introductions seriously and make sure every dog is a good match for my home. My goal is simple: when your dog is with me, I want them to feel loved, understood, and cared for—not just watched. Pet care is an important part of my daily routine. I care for my own dogs in the morning, so I am usually available after 11 AM. Tuesdays and Thursdays are great days for daycare since I am home and able to provide attention, playtime, and companionship. I also take an evening break around 6:30 PM for my dogs’ dinner routine and am usually available again after 8 PM. I am happy to work with each client to find a schedule that fits both their pet’s needs and my availability. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care while making sure every dog feels comfortable and happy. I am a positive reinforcement dog trainer, and I use my knowledge of dog behavior to provide safe, patient, and understanding care. I focus on building trust with each dog by learning their individual personality, comfort level, routines, and needs. Safety is one of my top priorities. I am someone who pays attention to the details and notices changes that may be easy to miss, such as changes in behavior, possible ear concerns, nail issues, skin irritation, coat problems, or anything that seems unusual for that dog. I always communicate with owners if I notice something concerning so we can work together to decide the best care for their pet. I have grooming experience, including bathing, brushing, nail trims, ear cleaning, and coat maintenance. I enjoy helping dogs feel comfortable and cared for, and I understand that regular grooming is an important part of a dog’s overall well-being. I have created a dog-friendly and senior-friendly environment in my home. I have ramps, orthopedic beds, and accommodations to help small dogs, senior dogs, and dogs who may need extra support feel comfortable. I also keep dog first aid supplies available and take safety seriously. I have two furry friends of my own who enjoy keeping other dogs company and providing opportunities for safe play and companionship. Because I have a senior service dog, I take introductions seriously and make sure dogs are a good personality match before daycare or boarding. I also use separate feeding areas and safe separation when needed to help prevent stress and protect each dog’s space. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your space and leave things the way I found them. I make sure your pet’s routine, comfort, and care are my priority. My goal is to create a safe, positive, and welcoming experience where every dog feels understood, loved, and truly cared for.

“Rachel & Jason were friendly, responsive, great communicators, and definitely dog lovers. I received daily pictures of my dog when I was away and didn't have any concerns or issues. I will definitely use them again as our dogsitter.”

“Tracy was amazing with Holly, and Holly came back home so happy after her visit there. Tracy gave Holly her meds as needed, lots of attention and pets. I would definitely leave Holly with her again.”

“I feel so lucky to have found Kathleen. She has such a genuine passion and love for dogs. My pup took to her right off the bat, I’ve never seen him trot off with a stranger so willingly. She is so knowledgeable and understanding, I felt comfortable leaving him with her through the 4th of July holiday weekend. She managed firework anxiety like a pro. She took amazing care of him and he came home totally happy and tuckered out. I can tell he had a good time. I will definitely be booking again.”

“Marya sent pictures often showing both dogs having a good time and playing. Our daughter picked them up and said the dogs were happy and taking a walk. Thanks Marya for taking great care of the pups. They will see you in a few days.”

“We are so fortunate to have found Grant! He is an absolutely wonderful caretaker for our Great Dane! He spends a lot of time with the dogs, exercising them and taking really good care of them. Our favorite part about Riley going to " Camp Grant" is he sends us pictures or videos daily. Riley can't wait to go back!”

“Regina’s did a great job taking care of Kobe. She sent me pictures and videos almost every day, and she even dropped him off at another dog sitter for me when I wasn't able to since I was out of town for two weeks.”

“I really appreciated that I received a lot of photos and updates ,it made me feel more at ease leaving my dog. Grisel did a great job easing my dog's separation anxiety. I probably will recommend her to my friends and relatives needing a dog sitter.”

“Achara is the best. Hudson has spent several long weekends with her now and he is more excited to see her and her family at drop off than to see us at pick up! A great sign that he feels right at home there. Achara is always really easy to communicate with, sending photos and updates throughout his stay - in fact most recently she helped us coordinate a last minute pickup as we were heading to the hospital to have a baby! Couldn’t recommend her highly enough as a loving home for our fur baby when we’re away.”

“Great communication and responsiveness. Fenced dirt backyard with 2 French Bulldogs. First time staying at Amanda’s house. He came home clean and happy with resolution of his ear canal infection (needed daily ear drops given during his stay)”

“Becky was amazing, took great care of Onyx and Loki and they settled right in to her place as if it was their own. Our first time using Rover. Comforting to know your pups have a great place and great person who cares for your fur babies as much as Becky. She kept us up to date with photos, activities, and how they were on walks and playing. We will definitely look for Becky’s hospitality again.”
“Tammy was an absolute blessing for our dogs while we were away. From the start, she was incredibly flexible and understanding, which immediately put us at ease. It was clear how loving, attentive, and thoughtful she was with our dogs, and how seriously she took their individual needs and routines. Being miles away is never easy when you love your dogs as much as we do, but Tammy made the entire experience feel comfortable and reassuring. I could truly tell that our dogs were not just being watched, but genuinely cared for. That peace of mind is priceless. If you are looking for a sitter who is kind, dependable, and deeply attentive, Tammy is someone you can trust wholeheartedly. Knowing there are wonderful sitters like her out there makes future travel feel so much easier, and she will absolutely be our first choice again. We love Tammy!”

“Jennifer took such wonderful care of our boy! We can’t recommend her enough. We got daily pictures and saw how much fun he was having - so much we almost thought he wouldn’t want to come back home! Thank you so much Jennifer”

“Edward had another wonderful stay with Jessie. He gets so excited when he sees her. He’s so much happier staying with her than at a boarding kennel and she takes great care of him.”

“Our dogs had an amazing stay with this daughter and mom duo. They gave us daily updates and we can tell they loved our dogs like their own. They had a nice yard and space for the dogs to go out and play in! Even with the yard space they still took them on walks and played ball with them. We will definitely book with them again in the future!”
“Poulette was very responsive to communications. I got responses to my inquiries very quickly. And while Whiskey and Vixen boarded with her, I received daily updates and photos of the dogs playing in her yard. I am very glad to have found a home environment for my dogs to stay in when they cannot be at my home.”
