About: I've been an animal lover my whole life and have always had at least one dog or cat in our home, as well as others often like fish and reptiles. I even lived and worked on a goat farm for a while and milked and cared for the goats. I'm an avid hiker and am happy to walk your dog for any length preferred on trail or road. In my other work I have over 15 years of experience as a healer (massage therapy and energy work) and meditation/yoga instructor and bring the calm this field has taught me to pet care. I'm used to hearing pet people tell me that their pets are so calm around me. I seek to form a connection based on trust and understanding with your pet. I am, without a doubt, a cat lady having had cats in my life since the age of 5. I currently have a sweet and sensitive Calico, who has lived with me for the past 11 years. She is a finicky eater and often deals with digestive issues, so I've had plenty of experience with various food regimes and giving supplements. We also have a sweet, playful, young male cat in our home (my daughter's cat) and a beloved bearded dragon. We recently welcomed a Shiba Inu into our family and she is such a joy in our home. I offer pet care as a side gig to my other work and love any opportunity to connect with your furry friends and other pets. I offer pet care part-time in addition to other work I do. I'm happy to walk dogs most weekdays/weekends between 8 am-3 pm and I can do pet check-in's most weekdays and some weekends and holidays with a few days notice. I am sometimes available for overnight pet stays in your home with ample prior notice. When coming to your home, I follow what usual routines you share with me for your pet and treat your home with utmost respect and care. If you have a preferred route to take your dog on a walk or favorite dog park, I'm happy to go with whatever your norm is and will make your dog most comfortable.

About: I have plenty of experience caring for pets through pet sitting for multiple clients as well as family & friends. I’ve looked after both dogs and cats, and my responsibilities have included feeding, going on walks, administering medication, and spending quality time with them so they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for. I also cared for my senior dog until she passed away at 15. As she got older, she required a great deal of attention, patience, and hands-on care. That experience taught me how important it is to be gentle, dependable, and attentive to each animal’s individual needs. I have cared for elderly pets, seizure pets and have no problem with giving medications. ****If you are requesting housesitting, I do have a small easy-going chill dog that likes to come with me if you are ok with that. He gets along with all dogs and cats alike. I do request that we have a meet and greet prior so as to ensure you are comfortable with me in your home and with your pets. I work remotely during the day. So I would be with your pet(s) for the majority of the day. They would only be left alone a few hours on occasion for errands/appointments and such. So they would get plenty of potty breaks, love and attention while you are away. I will care for you pet(s) per your instructions. While at my house they will be allowed on furniture and my bed for extra cuddle time. They will be given plenty of walks and playtime!
