Time is as precious as the angels by our side, and I’ll treat your pup like my own. For your peace of mind, I maintain an active Wilderness EMT certification, and my trail kit always includes canine-specific tourniquets and first aid. Flexible schedule. We prefer early, especially before a summer crowd, so that there is some safe space for everyone to run off leash and feel the freedom we all deserve. Selectively accepting a few well mannered companions. We'll keep a good eye. I have a couple spare tracking collars if that is a concern for off leash activity.

About: I've owned Australian Cattle Dogs (red/blue heelers) my entire life. My beloved most recent 12 year old Red Heeler named Austin passed away last summer. I now travel too much for work to consider getting another pet myself, but would love to borrow some to get my four legged furry fix. I am self employed professional photographer with a flexible weekly schedule and I work from home, except when I am out photographing clients. I would love to be a trusted fill-in for your standards of interaction with your pal if our schedules align. Please note that I am NOT a good fit for pandemic animals that cannot be left unattended or have separation anxiety. We have experience volunteering at the humane society, and have spent the last few years pet sitting dogs with different personalities, routines, and needs. Whether they need long walks, playtime, or just some cuddles on the couch, our goal is to stick to your dog's normal routine and treat them like one of our own. Dan and I both work in the restaurant industry, which gives us a flexible schedule. We work 3–4 days a week and often work opposite shifts, so one of us is usually home or available throughout the day. If we do work the same day, our shifts are in the evening, so we still have the entire morning and afternoon to spend with your pet. We make it a priority to provide plenty of attention, playtime, and love so your pet feels comfortable with us. We want every pet to feel at home while in our care. We have a fenced-in backyard and live just minutes from the marsh and beach, which gives us plenty of opportunities for walks, outdoor adventures, and playtime. If your dog prefers to be the only pet or does not do well with other dogs, we are happy to provide care in your home instead. We understand that every owner has their own routines and expectations, and we will always respect your instructions and your pet’s needs. At our home, dogs are welcome on the couch, are surrounded by toys, and can hang out in backyard to sunbathe and roam free. We have a 12 x 24 kennel with multiple dog houses we have kennels of different sizes. We also have a barn with 12 x 12 stalls. We have a fenced in deck that is 30 x 50 so there are many opportunities for your baby to be outside in the fresh air And still be safe. If your dog is an inside dog, we will keep him inside with us and he will be warm and cozy at bedtime.

About: I'm Rachel, a writer with a flexible schedule and a love of all things canine. I live with my husband, and my chocolate Labrador retriever, Ellie, in our West Shore cabin near Homewood. I signed up for Rover because dog sitting helps me get my fix for having a doggy harem. I would love to shower your dog with attention and affection. I volunteer at the local humane society, so I'm very adept at adapting to your dog's needs. I particularly love active dogs, and I'm happy to take your pup on hikes and swims in the lake. I'm also happy to hang out and have a more relaxing day with older, less active pups. Ellie (13) is very well-socialized, and she gets along well with dogs of all sizes. I work from home with a very flexible schedule, so I’m always happy to go out for a walk or a hike. Ellie, my 13-year-old Lab, is always up for meeting a new dog friend. Daycare Rates & Information: Daycare is up to 8 hours of care. Anything longer than that time, please book a boarding stay. Drop-offs anytime after 8 a.m. Pickups before 8 p.m. Although there is a nice buffer of woods near my house, the yard is not fenced (hopefully soon). I’ll be sure to keep your pup on a leash just in case! There’s an enclosed deck for sunbathing and watching chipmunks.

“Shane is incredible! This was my first time leaving my new rescue pup who is very shy, he won’t let many people even get close to him and Shane sent me a video of them cuddling on the couch. ❤️ Shane was so kind and gentle with my pup. I’m so grateful how awesome it worked out. Plus, his two dogs are very chill and well behaved which was also great for my pup to play with them. Can't recommend Shane enough! There's more, his location is also amazing for the dogs because it’s far from any busy streets and right by a trailhead. 🙌”
