“Clyde was boarded for a week with Kathleen on New Years while we were out of town! She did an amazing job keeping us informed on how he was doing and sent lots of pictures throughout the trip! She was very vigilant in asking us how we have trained Clyde and what we do to curve some of his bad habits; she used the same training techniques that we use so it wouldn’t confuse Clyde. Kathleen also has her own pup (Honey) who played with Clyde the whole week. He came home super tired and beat (which is rare for him). The following days after his visit were also a joy because he still listened and followed most of our commands/routines. Usually when we leave him at my moms, he comes home and acts differently (bad) because she lets him get away with so much. Overall, Kathleen did a great job with Clyde and we will definitely be having him boarded with her and Honey again!”

About: Ived taken care and loved many dogs growing up I’m very experienced with dogs of any age, family and friends have replied on me to sit for their pets while away on trips At the moment I’m home all day morning and afternoon, once I’m back at work I will be mostly available afternoons and weekends but willing to make schedule changes I live in an apartment with a small fenced patio but will mostly be taking your fur baby out for walks and potty breaks, I currently do not have any other dogs or cats.

About: i have had my lovely cat for almost 8 years now. i know there's still more to come because some of the things we've gone through are things i didn't expect to happen so soon or at all. the first unexpected journey was taking in another cat while a family member moved. my cat is an only child so having another cat in the house was not fun for him. it took some time for him to get comfortable around the other, but they eventually became friends. another time my cat had a procedure done and to prevent any infection i learned to give him liquid and pill medication.
About: I grew up with pets most of my life, and attended dog training classes with my mom starting at a young age. I have had my own pets the last 13 years (dogs, cat and bunny). I have trained and titled one of my dogs in AKC Rally and Waterworks ( something specific to my dogs breed), she is also a grand champion. I would be willing to help train puppies, even though I am not a certified trainer. I can also assist in training to loose leash walk, crate training, etc. Willing to do limited bathing and grooming for an additional fee, to be determined upon request, detailed request needed. I have been grooming my Portuguese water dogs most of my adult life, I have had to maintain a show quality coat. I'm not a professional groomer, but I know my way around clippers and scissors. About: I've grown up with all sorts of pets for as long as I can remember. Dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish. I have two cats of my own right now (two very spoiled babies). I'm typically free in the evenings Monday through Thursday and completely free on the weekends. But if needed for an emergency I can work from home Monday through Thursday to be there for your pet. I care for pets in the same way that I care for myself, with the upmost care. Dogs get walked at least twice a day, and plenty of love. Cats also get the same, and I have plenty of toys for both cats and dogs.

I work part time as a barista. i don't have set days off but i work very early mornings. i am also taking a couple online courses, but i go at my own pace so im flexible with afternoons and evenings. just like with little humans, i make sure cleaning supplies, little choking hazards, and toxic foods are stored high in storage closets where my cat can't get into. i vacuum regularly in case i have dropped small pieces of plastic (that my cat loves more than toys for some reason). i will occasionally pet sit for my sister when she is away on vacation. i don't assume i know her pets better than she does, so i have texted her before about a concern i had about her dog. i fed both her pets at the same time, but one refused to eat. instead of assuming that her dog would eventually eat, i reached out to know if there was anything i could do differently and the solution was a change in environment. i would then feed them in separate rooms and that did the trick. i loved sending her pictures of them unprompted and when asked.
About: I have been taking care of animals from a very young age, including horses, goats, cats, dogs, rabbits, pigs. My experience with dogs has been the most consistent relationships from childhood into adulthood, I myself have raised my 13 year old lab mix since he was 3 years old! He is happy and healthy but I have so much love to give, I would love to meet your pets! I am currently working part time, traveling to Southern California every 5-6 weeks. My time is open otherwise during the week to walk dogs, check in on them, feed them, whatever you need! I’m happy to meet your pet in their environment where they’re comfortable and safe. I don’t mind long walks and could also bring them to the dog park for exercise if that is part of your routine.

I have trained all my puppies as well as cared for my parents elderly Bullmastiff. I am very sensitive to the needs of pets and can feel when something is wrong. My schedule is open Monday - Sunday, I am a stay at home fur mom and I can not wait to meet your fur baby. All of my cats and dogs are indoor. I believe that is the safest way to keep them healthy and protected. However, if your fur baby is outside I will make sure all gates, doors are closed, locked and secure!

“Clyde was boarded for a week with Kathleen on New Years while we were out of town! She did an amazing job keeping us informed on how he was doing and sent lots of pictures throughout the trip! She was very vigilant in asking us how we have trained Clyde and what we do to curve some of his bad habits; she used the same training techniques that we use so it wouldn’t confuse Clyde. Kathleen also has her own pup (Honey) who played with Clyde the whole week. He came home super tired and beat (which is rare for him). The following days after his visit were also a joy because he still listened and followed most of our commands/routines. Usually when we leave him at my moms, he comes home and acts differently (bad) because she lets him get away with so much. Overall, Kathleen did a great job with Clyde and we will definitely be having him boarded with her and Honey again!”
