About: I have fostered kittens and I am really good with their care. I am able to provide them a safe home where they can peacefully grow up and then be sent to their forever home. Some parts of their care include bottle feeding, stimulation to go potty, and keeping their temperature right so that they can maintain their body heat. It is extremely heart warming and rewarding whenever I take in tiny little kittens and they grow up into healthy and playful cats.

I am an avid runner so my furry friend chooses the pace at which we will go about. If your fur baby is a runner, I recommend a body harness rather than a collar. Keeps them safer. If they are walkers than a collar is perfectly fine. For the more agile furry friends, I also ride my montain bike. You have the option of choosing any terrain: Trails, hikes, parks, neighborhood walks you name it. I encourage breaks for water drinking if my furry friend desires. I carry extra poop bags with me so picking up after your fur baby will not be a problem. If your furry friend is a water lover and is permitted to swim, I will also make time for a little swim time to cool off. Overall I am looking forward to more hikes in 2021 and make more furry friends to join me on adventures. I'm currently working part time and have time to play walk doggy sit and give all my attention to your fur baby's ready for our next adventure I have a fenced yard and no dogs in front yard or in house but your baby's will be in a very clean happy loving home for the time you drop off till pick up

“Shanna is great. She has been patient and collaborative in planning for my Roxie's care. We had a meet and greet, then a short daycare stay, then a full day of daycare. She is well versed in dog behavior. My dog, coincidentally a "pitbull type" is often categorized and judged as "vicious or aggressive" even before people meet her. I've had dog sitters on Rover decline to provide services simply because of her breed or her appearance. Shanna understands that Roxie is a dog: a dog with her own level of prey drive (so Roxie is not allowed in her daughter's room cause of the hamster she has); a dog with some anxiety who barked at her husband when he came into the house. They didn't freak out. Shanna understood Roxie's behavior and worked through it, allowing Roxie to get to know her husband, settle and move on. I truly appreciate her family's openness and acceptance. We have two more full days of daycare booked and if all continues well, we will book boarding services. Roxie is people and dog friendly, but the discrimination we have experienced on Rover, leads me to take things in a new daycare/boarding situation slowly. About: I've been raising dogs since I was a teenager. I've literally raised them from birth, I've got experience breeding dogs and have helped them during the birth process. I just recently became a cat owner so I don't have very much experience with them but am learning new things all the time about them. I'm not the grooming type so if you want nails clipped or trimming done I suggest seeking someone else for that. I'm okay with giving them baths but that's about the extent of it. I've walked up to 3 dogs at once so I'm efficient in walking dogs. As shown in my headline I'm a big animal lover, they're my weakness, kryptonite, Achilles heel. I'm more emotional over their deaths than humans. My availability varies due to having a part time job and having animals of my own to care for but I'm capable of juggling all that I make sure my pets always have food & water, I also make sure they go outside to relieve themselves and just to get some exercise

I am willing to travel to others homes to feed your pets, take them on walks, give them baths or whatever is needed! Over the summer I will have many weekdays and weekends completely open for pet sitting jobs. Beginning mid August, I teach full time in an elementary school 8-3:30. Whatever your safety rules are, I will adhere to. Having taken care of babies as well for many years, I have a high sense of safety when someone's precious cargo is in my hands.
About: My experience ranges from newborn to senior care. Family has trusted me to care for their dogs and cats while on vacations. I currently am a mama to two 7 month old kittens, after my labrador mix passed away in July. I currently work full-time for the school district, but I am available in the evenings and weekends.
