I've also worked for 10+ years with a local rescue, raising kittens only days or weeks old until they are old enough to be fixed and adopted - feeding them milk on a regular schedule and then weaning them onto wet food, then dry food, also teaching them how to be a cat by interacting with my cats. About: Hi! My name is Sam! We just bought a house in Lincoln and starting a doggy day-care. You can drop off and I’ll take your pup on 2-3 walks a day. I work from home, so they’d chill in the backyard most of the day with our German Shepard/husky mix Kylo. We have lots of toys for them to play with! Drop off can be at 8am but no later than 8:30am. I leave to pick up my son at 3:45 but am always back by 4. I have a high fenced backyard to keep your pups safe and a dog run. Lots of toys and am able to take breaks throughout the day for walks.

In my client’s home, I always focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and relaxed in their normal environment by following their usual routines like feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior so I can quickly notice if something seems off or if they need extra attention or comfort. I also make sure to keep everything clean and respected while I’m there, including food areas, water bowls, and litter boxes, and I always double-check doors and gates for safety. About: I have had a variety of animals always in my life. I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish and rodents. (All of which I've had at some point) I have also worked for a rescue charity for 7+ years which resulted in having learned basic and emergency care, as well as administration of medication. About: I have loved animals my whole life. And taken care of my own and others for half of my life. I love any animal I care for like my own! I have pet sat for and walked all kinds of animals from cats, dogs, chicken, and even a squirrel. My boyfriend also has a tortoise that I help care for when I go over to his place. This gives me a large range in my experience with different animals. From learning to spot the signes of when they start to feel the need to get aggressive with each other giving me the ability to stop a fight, to giving them love and attention which is something all animals deserve! If taking care of your baby(pet) is something you would allow me to do, I will love, care for, and protect them as if they were my own because it is my goal to insure that both the pet and their owner feels the pet is being well cared for! I can work any day of the week, other than some weekends. And would greatly appreciate a days notice beforehand to prepare and create a plan. I can walk, feed, provide water, pet, play games such as fetch or different games with cats including the Lazer pointer. I will break up any possible alterations by removing the pet from that situation. I can also brush them for dematting their hair or just regular maintenance, and pet the animal to calm them down and insure they feel loved. We do not have accommodations for females in heat or aggressive animals. For dog walking and drop-in visits, we are available any day of the week. However, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, we will not be available from 1pm-5pm. The time on Tuesday may vary depending on Alex's school schedule. We plan to meet and exceed all the needs of the pet, which includes necessities, plenty of playtime, and walks. For housesitting, we can also water plants and bring in mail, if need be.
