They can enjoy both time inside our home as well as the beautiful dog play area outside which is fully gated with coyote rollers, trees for shading, a couple sheds (one w/ AC), and fully turfed. They'll enjoy this area for playing fetch, tug of war, running around, along with just having some relaxation in the safe outdoors. “I was in a bind and needed a sitter for a few hrs for my yorkies. I have a 12 yo Sr. And a 7 mo. pup. Neither have ever stayed with a stranger. Jennifer was just down the street from my dad's house and I wasn't going to be far away from them. I gotta be honest, I was super nervous leaving them but I didn't really have another choice. Anyway, as I arrived I already felt at ease with Jennifer as a person. Then, I immediately met her daughter and felt comfortable with her as well. The introduction was quick because I was in a hurry. I already knew my Sr. was going to wait at a window for me cuz that's what he does. The window he was pictured waiting at was clean & beautifully decorated in the teenage daughter's room. To my surprise my Sr appeared to have felt comfy enough to even leave the window and wait by her side in another picture I received. Very heartwarming for me to see. I also received a photo of them going for a walk and another of my puppy receiving some love and hugs as well. Thank you for everything Jennifer! About: We've had 30 years experience raising and training multiple breeds of dogs mostly in huskies, labs, and akitas we also help with leash walking, sitting, and more. We also bath animals if needed We have kennels in our backyard, and we have several dogs of our own as well as boarding other dogs for friends and neighbors making a daily routine in our lives. Our facilities have automatic food and waters dispensers and insulated kennels. First thing in the morning picking up animal waste and kennel preparation is performed, then dogs are walked, then they are played with by my self if given permission from owners. They will be given opportunity to run free in the big yard and then returned to their personal kennels in the evening. Food and water is provided unless given a specialized diet provided by pets owner.
“Brooke and her husband, Steven, were amazing! (I hope I got his name right, my dog was rather excited when he introduced himself). My stay was very last minute as I was coming down from LA, so they didn't have a chance to meet my dog before his stay with them. They were SUPER accommodating in taking him in really early in the morning and late at night (9:30 pm), so I could go do touristy things in SD. My dog is an excited barker when he meets people, and bright at 8:30 am, the two of them came out to greet him extremely cheerful and thankfully very nice and understanding while I apologized for his barking. They have a great house with a backyard. They were super chill about Marty hanging out with them on the couch and it seemed like they had a mellow day. Since it was only a day, I mentioned they didn't have to take photos of him, but throughout the day, they sent me adorable selfies of them having fun with my pup and it made my day! Their positivity and enthusiasm made me feel so at ease and I highly recommend them. I will definitely contact them when I'm back in town again.”

Over the years, I've cared for 3 cats, 2 dogs, bunnies, turtles, and parrots, so I'm comfortable with pets of all kinds. About: Hello! I’m a big animal lover and have personally had dogs, cats, fish, a snake, rat, mouse, and toad—I currently have two parakeets and a self-sustaining aquarium with shrimp and aquatic snails; I also happily live with my roommates cat. I’ve house sat and cared for animals of all ages, including households with multiple cats and dogs; as well as exotic pets, including tropical fish, frogs, reptiles, hamsters, chinchillas, and tarantulas. I’ve been plant-based my whole life and have always advocated for animal welfare and protecting wildlife—I highly value caring for animals and spending time with them. I grew up with a pet husky and miniature poodle, and have experience walking dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I work in the morning/ early afternoon as a Barista ~20 hours a week. I am generally free early morning (before 8am), and afternoon-nighttime. I am off ~3 days a week (usually between Monday-Thursday) during which I can give extra time and attention to pet-care. I live in a dog-friendly gated community with a community park across the street. I have years of experience caring for and walking all kinds of dogs and am very attentive to the emotions and needs of each animal. Throughout the day, I make time for exercise, companionship, cleaning litter boxes, refreshing food and water, and monitoring each pet’s wellbeing. I also build in time for updates to pet parents, including photos and notes. Because I prioritize pet care, I’m flexible and able to adjust my routine to meet each pet’s specific needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and focus on keeping the pet’s routine consistent. This includes feeding, walks, litter box maintenance, playtime, medication administration if needed, and companionship. I also keep the home tidy, bring in mail if requested, and provide regular updates with photos and notes so pet parents feel confident and informed.
