About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years I've taken many dog training classes, raised a puppy from 8 weeks old, cared for a senior dog through their golden years, rescued a stray, and fostered numerous dogs through different rescue organizations — so I'm comfortable with dogs of every age, size, and temperament. Recently, our own dog suffered an accident that left him with a spinal injury, and caring for him has given me hands-on experience with special needs dogs, including the patience and close attention that recovery requires. I read dog behavior well and believe most problems are preventable with good, consistent training. When your dog is with me, they'll get plenty of attention, exercise, and structure — and I'll keep you updated with photos so you always know how they're doing. I treat every dog in my care like they're my own. I’m currently working part-time and will have plenty of time for your pups! During the week I will mostly be available for drop ins and walks. I am available to board overnight on most weekends. I wake up early and the dogs will get an early morning start while everyone else is asleep! My home has a very tall fence in the backyard and a fence in the front. Be advised, there is a pool in the back yard that is 8 feet deep. I wouldn’t recommend my space if your dog is uncomfortable around water. Dogs are only allowed outside, off leash in the backyard if they are supervised by myself. There are lots of spots to sniff and run around in the backyard. We also have a high anxiety crate for any dogs with severe anxiety, and if we need to separate or isolate a dog.

About: Being raised in the rural parts of El Cajon, with my mom being apart of the AKC- American Kennel Club, I spent a lot of time around animals. Learning at a young age how to properly interact with dogs. I have walked up to three small dogs at the same time that belonged to my land-lord of 5 years. Even though these three dogs were considered aggressive toward other people, they loved and trusted me and I loved them back. I enjoy being around small animals and spending quality time with them. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I learned how to wash dishes! I’ve walked dogs and puppies from 10lbs to larger dogs of 120lbs + When I spend time with animals, even in short amounts of times, special bonds are formed. It's a great season for me to be really available and engaged for your dog, and I'll keep my profile updated as my schedule evolves. On walks and drop-in visits, your dog stays on their normal routine, same feeding times, same walk schedule, plus any specific instructions you leave me. I always check the space first so everything stays exactly as you left it. When your dog boards at my place, they get my full attention with no other pets around to compete for space or affection. My yard isn't fenced, so outdoor time is on leash to keep things safe, and indoors I keep things calm and familiar so the stay doesn't feel disruptive. Throughout any visit, I'm watching your dog's body language and energy, not just going through the motions, so I can catch anything off and keep them comfortable the whole time. Depending on your preference, I'll also send photo or text updates so you can see how they're doing while you're away.
